Stifling a laugh, Sorry, Verm, he's clueless. See he's not doing it on purpose... Fung turns back to Harper, You see, Verm has a connection with all things natural... even bugs.
Harper Montajay III
|
*Walks over to one of the squished bugs and attempts to put the pieces back together with a nervous smile*
See Vermy? I'm fixing then
Stuffs guts under the shell.
Be free little buddy!
Let's go of the shell and the guts slide out again. Walks away whistling nervously.
Vermin*
|
Vermin is a blight druid with an affinity for, you guessed it, vermin. As far as I know only blight druids can use wild empathy on vermin. There may be some strange vermin domain that allows it too. But if I ever expect to do so I think I am going to have to improve my charisma a point or two. lol. Was hoping for a circumstance bonus to my roll with the offered food.

While Harper interprets the documents, Fung asks, Shall we check the other room, while he's doing that? It is only right there...
Harper Montajay III
|
Sounds good. Anything important in the papers?
Never mind...I just read the spoiler. I tell everyone what I read. (please see the Kelish spoiler).
Luccinus de Concorezio

Onwards companions.
G2 is a door I believe? Also room 2 (corridor) needs to be explored up to the other well?
Luccinus gestures for someone to check the door.
Fung Xi
|
Ack! What happened? I can't see! Fung exclaims as he stumbles backwards. Watch out, there is a froggy thing in there!
EDIT: I am reminded of Big Trouble in Little China! Wang Chi: "Don't look in his eyes!" Jack Burton: "I already did!" Wang Chi: "Don't!" Jack Burton: "Okay, I won't!" :p
| GM Nel |
Luccinus goes into the room.
Initiatives:
Harper: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (13) + 6 = 19
Griff: 1d20 + 0 ⇒ (20) + 0 = 20
Fung: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (14) + 5 = 19
Luccinus: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (4) + 2 = 6
Xavier: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (6) + 5 = 11
Vermin: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (3) + 4 = 7
BBEG: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (1) + 2 = 3
Lucc, I'll give you your move action before we go into initiative rounds. You see a strange creature a bit further down.
Round 1:
Griff <--
Harper
Fung
Xavier
Vermin
Lucc
BBEG
Map up
Griff H.

Lol, I'm first?
Griff delays.....
| GM Nel |
You want to move to E1 your next turn? Just checking what you are referring to. You were at Z1 (one column left of A... I moved the grid too much) and 4 squares of movement. The door is between A2 and Z2. Cant move around the hard corner into the room from Z1 into A2. Best I can do from the surprise round is C1.
Round 1:
Griff
Harper <--
Fung
Xavier
Vermin
Lucc
BBEG

Delays to see if the big green (Vermin) frog whisperer can calm the frog before I have to cut it's tongue off and use it as a string for my fiddle.
Luccinus de Concorezio
|
There are a lot of maps and I is confused... I see a map of room 9, something yellow in the middle and me standing at C2.
If thats where I am now, then groovy :)
If not then I may have the wrong map
Fung Xi
|
Fung sits up against the wall, waving his hand back and forth in front of his face and blinking, hoping that his eyesight will return...
Vermin*
|
Vermin casts Shillelagh onto his quarterstaff and advances into the room to C1, adverting his gaze from the creature, for now.
| GM Nel |
Xavier moves to A1:
fort save: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (16) + 4 = 20
and are good. You ready.
Vermin:
adverting eyes (3,4 good for you): 1d4 ⇒ 1
fort save: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (12) + 3 = 15
and are good. You move to C1 with Shillelagh on.
Lucc up unless anyone comes in from delay
Round 1:
Fung
Xavier
Vermin
Lucc <--
BBEG
On delay:
Griff
Harper
Griff H.

High rollers on those fort saves ;)
Griff will jump in after the BBEG goes (as usual).

Do you want us to roll the save and miss chance on our turn or do you want to do it?
Luccinus de Concorezio
|
Sorry - work etc
Luccinus power attacks the creature.
1d20 + 5 - 1 ⇒ (6) + 5 - 1 = 10
1d20 + 6 ⇒ (5) + 6 = 11
Not having a lot of luck... but I did make my save
| GM Nel |
Sadly the save is every round you are in the room so...
Lucc fort save: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (18) + 4 = 22
and you made it.
It goes next. It looks towards Vermin, and with a lip smack and drool coming down its mouth, takes a 5' step and starts attacking Vermin
Bite 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (5) + 5 = 10
Claw 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (6) + 5 = 11
Claw 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (13) + 5 = 18
I think none of these hit Vermin.
Round 1:
Fung
Xavier
Vermin
Harper
Lucc
BBEG
Griff <--
Griff H.

Close eyes, then stumble into room and go to A2 (30 ft. worth of movement with the eyes closed). Pull out crossbow, I guess.
Fung Xi
|
Fung gets up, keeping a hand on the wall. He moves into the room moving at half speed, listening for the location of the frog thing that he saw... (or more, since the map shows 2?)
Perception 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (1) + 7 = 8
Nurtz!
Luccinus de Concorezio
|
Sorry - work etc
Luccinus power attacks the creature.
1d20 + 5 - 1
1d20 + 6Not having a lot of luck... but I did make my save
I didn't state where I moved to before attacking and it moved... for arguments sake, assume I held until it moved to attack. Next round I will think about if I use close eyes etc
Vermin*
|
Vermin is up, and attacks using two weapon fighting. He knows where it is so is not averting his gaze. Its an unnatural abomination! he exclaims. Kill it!
Fort Save: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (18) + 4 = 22
First Swing: 1d20 + 5 + 1 - 2 ⇒ (18) + 5 + 1 - 2 = 222d6 + 5 + 1 ⇒ (3, 5) + 5 + 1 = 14
Second Swing: 1d20 + 5 + 1 - 2 ⇒ (3) + 5 + 1 - 2 = 72d6 + 3 + 1 ⇒ (3, 1) + 3 + 1 = 8
