Still waiting on Solace and Haruk in the gameplay thread. I realize we've just finished up Thanksgiving and so everyone might be a little out of place at the moment (at least the Americans) but don't forget to keep things moving! :D

Hehe. I've been rolling the contested Stealth/Perception for Kamau and the guards, giving Kamau an additional +5 for distance and darkness. Sometimes the guards are just good at what they're trained to do: looking out for people lurking in the darkness. :)

Well, that wasn't exactly how I had planned for it to go, but if it comes to that, it's certainly plausible.

There's been no activity since Saturday. It is now Tuesday. Pyrrius and Haruk pretty much hold the mic right now, so hopefully we can get this exchange finished and move on with the plot.

Haruk, three days without a post from you (particularly during a time in which the narrative is basically waiting on your reply) is not good. I understand if you're busy or something, but I did state early on that I wanted daily posting unless you know you're going to be out for awhile. I try not to be too much of a hardliner about it, but this isn't the first time. Are you going to be able to keep up with this?

I'm sorry, work has been and will be busy for awhile, so posts will be slow. Also, I did not realize I was still in the spotlight so to speak, as I figured it was more a group choice to involve Pyrrius or not. Had I know, I would have definitely put something up before now.

Would you mind adding the current info we have on our targets to the campaign tab? I know its not much, but it'll help, and can be updated as we learn more.

I have added the target list and what (very limited) information you have on them at this time to the campaign tab, as requested.

For the record, the ring of counterspells is currently empty and thus able to receive a spell if anyone wants to put one in it. I expect the posting will slow down for the next few days as the majority of us will be involved in various holiday celebrations and whatnot. That is to be expected and I wish all of you a happy holiday, whatever your religious (or un-religious) affiliation may be. :D

It's not wearing thin at all. Kamau just legitimately didn't understand him. I figured that at some point, considering you're making a point of it, Albrekt's accent and word-choice would eventually be incomprehensible, and this one had enough of both to justify Kamau just... not getting it. :P

Sadly that does seem to be the case. While I haven't had as much time as I would've liked the last couple of weeks, I can't really handle the planning and information-gathering steps on behalf of the players. I need to know what you guys are planning to do before I can take steps to flesh out what happens.

If even a couple of you can just decide how you want to proceed and express it in the game, I can keep things rolling, but this is a collaborative effort.

I've been sick all week, and honestly just forgot to respond. I called out of work today, but I'm going to try n get some sleep, as I barely go any last nite.

I'll start fishing for a replacement for Joy this afternoon. I'm rather busy this morning running errands and whatnot. Kamau's player is a personal friend of mine, so I'll kick him in the butt and get him back into things as well. Agreed on the holding pattern until Pyrrius gets back. You guys have a lot of planning and whatnot to do in the meantime anyway.

I've been around. Kamau is literally of no use at all to the 'information gathering' stage. He's designed that way for the most part.

I've contributed all I really think I can. My intention is/was to just show him loitering in the background and looking mean while people did the planning work.

Hmm. Joy had gone MIA a week or so before I got caught up in RPG Superstar and all of the other subsequent events that have kept me away from the computer since.

However, I have since become employed and do not have the regular availability to post that I once did. I could probably manage a post or two a day, though, and given enough interest... I think a reboot could be feasible, picking up where we left off.

Joy is around in some of my other games. You could guage her (and other folks) interest via PM or something.

I should still be available for a post or two a day, excluding many weekends.

Joy responded to my PM saying that she just doesn't have the time to commit to more campaigns than she's already involved in at this time, so we're down one person at least. I'll talk to Kamau's player soon as well and find out if he's interested in rejoining or not. Then we can discuss what our options are from there.

Slammed at work folks - but a slower paced game would suit me to a tee :) and I'm up for continuing
