You advance into the cave with Savage on point.

This cavern has a smooth stone floor and rough walls. A mess of vines hangs from the 40-foot-high ceiling, stretching from wall to wall.

There is a mess (dozen) if Garundi warriors in here. They appear to have heard your discussions outside the cave.

Time for initiative.

You folks take the time to top off Savage and then proceed into the next room.

The most noticeable and harrowing feature of this room is the 60-foot-tall statue of Angazhan carved into the west wall. At its feet stands a candle-laden altar, upon which a female human lies bound. Two giant murals flank the statue, painted with mud, blood, and more unmentionable substances. Like much of the rest of the cave, vines cover the ceiling, though these vines hang fifty feet or more above the ground.

In the entry way is a dire ape, and above on the vines are two more gorillas. Blocking entrance further into the cave is a blade barrier. Beyond the barrier you see another gorilla and a huge desiccated looking gorilla.

1d8 + 9 + 1 ⇒ (7) + 9 + 1 = 17

Tertiary: 1d20 + 4 + 1 - 4 ⇒ (3) + 4 + 1 - 4 = 4
1d8 + 9 + 1 ⇒ (4) + 9 + 1 = 14

First two shots knock it out.

Then will aim at one of the ones above, though I doubt a 12 will hit it, even with Flat-footed and other penalties.

The 12 will hit one of the hanging targets.

Ezrek may be a bit puzzled why he does not turn invisible. Until he recalls Hugo cast invis purge outside before entering we entered these caves.

"Abadar, bless our interchange with these apes and their cultists . "

Hugo casts blessings of fervor on the party, including owl, then backs up 20' to allow invis to take effect.

Hugo takes the +2 blessing.

Savage init 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (19) + 9 = 28

Savage takes the Blessing of Fervor for the +2s.
Savage Runs out around the Blade Barrier in a double move, so no attack. He rages and activates CAGM.
