Just a heads up to you all that life has gotten really crazy over the last few days and it's taking a toll on my ability to focus much on the games. I'm still checking in, and still moving things along, but you might find that I'm less inclined to follow the rules too closely right now. I hope this doesn't spoil the fun for anyone, but I just don't have it in me to worry about mechanics right now.

It's fine. I will be out of town Saturday and Sunday for Larp, so feel free to have Silian blindly attacking the blink dog til my return! If anybody besides Twi wishes to run Silian for the weekend, you're welcome to.

I second that. And I'm tired of posting for half the party half the time so I'm not posting again until Balthazar posts. I messaged him, twice. He said he was going to post, and still hasn't so idk. I guess you guys can vote on whether to exclude Balthazar from the game if he hasn't posted by tomorrow if you want.

Soooooo... what about a bard(sandman). He will specialize in stealth, trap disarming, disabling devices and using magic devices.

TheCelticCircle: It shouldn't really be an issue, we had a couple of warforged which aren't even in Pathfinder. There might need to be a couple of adjustments here and there, so if you do have some source material awesome but I don't think much of anything should be needed if at all.

This is the conversion site we usually use. You are welcome to play whichever version of the (Eberron) changeling you prefer, though the Pathfinder conversion is slightly more powerful. Your choice.

I suppose I should mention that even though he's a player in this campaign, Silian more or less is a Junior DM for this game because this campaign only exists because he asked me to read the Eberron stuff so I could DM an Eberron game for him. I still have to ask him about how stuff works far more often than he'd like, but he loves me anyway. If he says that you can do something (like above with the changeling info) there's slim chance I'd say otherwise (and it's likely I already asked him how/if it would work :D).

Still hunting up my Eberron book, but what is still needed ?

We currently have a druid, a DMPC fighter, and a magus. All other characters are inactive or are dropping out. Play whatever You want to play. Twi is still getting the hang of it, but we want the game to be enjoyable for the players too. If we end up with a party of all druids, we'll make it work. I'm a fan of playing to what you want to play, not just about filling a party role.

And it should be noted also, that we have two elves and a (Brelish?) human. All three have ties to Dragonmark houses, and two characters are Dragonmarked.

Ha, not quite. It's just what made me take the leap to DM. I've been gaming since I was 19ish (30 now). My (psycho) ex-husband created his own rpg world/rule set and I played it with him for years. I am somewhat ashamed to say that I probably stayed with him a lot longer than was sane on my part, in large because of my addiction to the game. After we split up, I started to play here on paizo (2010 I believe) as a way to sooth the withdraw, lol. I still miss my ex's game, and still mourn the loss of my imaginary friends but I do love gaming on paizo.

Oh elf haters are fine, but it's only fair that I should warn you that any Ghallanda halfling should not expect to live past the first time it goes to sleep...

I joined a Second Darkness game and asked Twi if she wanted to join. The game survived several character shifts and two DMs before fizzling. I asked her to eventually run an Eberron game for me since it is my (2nd) favorite campaign setting but I never get the opportunity to enjoy it as a player.

You're not restricted to Eberron-only races. Keith's saying goes "If it exists in D&D, it exists in Eberron." So if there is a Pathfinder race you like, you're welcome to pursue it. Goblinoids are an acceptable (and more tolerated) race in most parts of Eberron, as are orcs.

Alright Silian, give it to me, tell me how old I'm getting that I can't even remember how old I actually am! I'm 31 now, not 30. Sheesh.

Yeah, Eberron world, races etc. Pathfinder rules and method of character creation.

Some days, I'm as ancient as the universe, others as young as a newborn star :D

I GM most of the time, so PbP is the only way I get to run some kinds of characters.

One of my players just finished running us through the Dragon's Demand as his first try at the big chair.

TPK! It was fantastic!

Our other GM works writes for TPK Games, he takes his work to the table.

He killed 5 of my characters in 4 sessions for Skull and Shackles, all divine casters.

Gunslingers aren't bad, they're just uncommon. Black powder (as per Pathfinder updates) is mostly found in the Lazaar Principalities and was becoming more common in Cyre until the Day of Mourning. Just want to see fun characters that make it a unique game. Any questions that Twi has (or you have that are directed towards her) I am researching to make sure they aren't going to unbalance the game. One of the more fun things that is being done with Eberron lately is converting Pathfinder adventure paths to the world, and Skull & Shackles was placed in the Principalities. There is also a wandslinger archetype for Pathfinder for the gunslinger which seems fairly balanced. So gunslingers aren't unheard of, just a very rare sight outside of the pirate isles. I'll be happy to answer any questions about races, classes, or the like.
