Kallistos recoils from Yasmin as she goes for his scepter and strikes her cleanly with a powerful stomp of his boot, knocking her back 5'.
As your party circles in and start to overwhelm him, he jumps backwards off the ledge of the building. At the top of his leap, his body erupts into blinding flame as he transforms into a fiery comet and shoots across the sky.
He is performing a full withdrawal and simply using an enchantment that was still active throughout the encounter.
In his place, fresh blood is left pooling on the ground, running through the cracks in the roof - a testament to the savagery of the battle that took place.
Cheers from the men on the rooftops as the people start to emerge from their hiding places. A voice cries out, "They have won! Kallistos has been beaten!"
Another voice cries out, "look at him flee, Kallistos the mighty indeed!"

Yasmin |

Yasmin winks at Abassi
Men always need women to show them how to deal with pests. To be honest that was a bit to close to my liking
She puts her dagger back in her wrist sheath and retrieves her other dagger from the ground.

Niko lets out a small grunt as he comes to, and manages a small smile at the woman tending his wounds. "Commander," he says, his voice a little hoarse. "Sorry about... this. Where'd that bastard get to?" Even as he finishes the statement, the warrior waves off the Commander's hands and begins to lever himself to stand.

Oneidros |

Oneidros looks around, shakes his head, and raises his hands toward Dionysus on Mt Olympus
Great Roaring Inebriator, thanks for your aid in turning away that offensive ass! Grant us your succor, that we may live to celebrate your splendid chaos.
He channels energy five times, for a total of channel energy: 10d6 ⇒ (1, 4, 5, 4, 1, 1, 2, 5, 1, 2) = 26 HP healed to all within 30'.
He turns toward Madness and strokes behind his now-healed ear, and then turns to Niko:
He fled like he came: As a comet. I'd been quite looking forward to meeting a Star...but that one turned out to be more of a dud.
to Abassi:
I suppose it's time that I said hello. I'm Oneidros, champion of Dionysus, and this is my companion, Madness. Pleasure to meet you and may your cup overflow with wine.
Is there anything more you can tell us about this? Did you know Kallistos was coming, or why?

"That bastard no doubt has a fortress or some other safe haven. I don't doubt he is returning there to lick his wounds. No god would stoop to providing miracles for the likes of him. If he doesn't have a source of healing, and how could he, he must have prepared somewhere to hide," Abassi nods.
Abassi turns to you Oneidros, wiping the blood from her hands, "King Kamram seeks the wisdom of a priestess of Yolanda Wonderbringer from time to time. Her prophets have an ability to see into the future to such a degree that I sometimes doubt freewill. The priestess, Ruby Deepdelver, saw the city burning at the hands of a deity during the festival. Who knows what she saw. I am thankful that you were here to change our fate."
She then walks over to you, Yasmin, leans in and whispers:
After saying a few words, she bows her head respectfully for a moment, then returns to whispering.

Niko grimaces as he steps forward, holding the heavy wound Kallistos dealt him and trying to walk it off. No good hero gets stopped by a single hit, no matter how hard. Cheiron would have me scrubbing dung pits if I let him see it hurt; certainly can't show these people. He manages a smile and small wave to the crowd as he approaches the group.
"Ruby Deepdelver?" Niko asks, going through his mind to see if he knows of her. Knowledge (local): 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (1) + 10 = 11 "Haven't heard of her. Priestess and prophesier, hm? We should go ask her about all this..." The warrior shakes his head and steps forward to Teralan, extending a hand. "I don't believe we had a chance to get acquainted in the recent battle. I'm Niko. You are?"

Hey, are those crickets I hear chirping out there?
Turning to Telaran:
Indeed. Well met, and thanks for your timely arrival. I'm Oneidros, champion of Dionysus. May your elven loins be fertile and festive!

Yasmin |

Yasmin nods to Abassi
I will follow your suggestion, thanks
Do you happen to know if that prophecy is also the reason all the halflings have vanished?
Any information you can share with Yasmin regarding this priestess?

Hey, those crickets are playing my favorite song!
Teleran listened politely to the others conversation, finding no real reason to jump into the middle of what he wasn't entirely sure was going on. He had just stepped in to help.
When the burly fighter addressed him though, he chuckled sheepishly at the blessing and simply nodded. "Thanks, I guess? And I'm glad I was able to help in some small way. That guy, Kallistos, was using some Celestial magic, stuff of the gods themselves. I honestly wasn't sure if my magic would be strong enough to phase him. But it seemed like I can affect his equipment. For a little while at least."

Oneidros |

To Telaran:
You undersell yourself, brother. You rose to the challenge when a mighty foe threatened this glorious celebration.
My new friends and I had our revelry cut short by this messiness. Perhaps you'll join us in toasting to Kallistos being sent off with his tail between his legs?

Nikomedos |

"Hear, hear!" Niko says, his voice cracking into more normal tones. "Though would you be offended if I opted for goat's milk rather than wine? Fermented, of course." Niko gives a sheepish grin (sorry, couldn't help it).
