Djala blinks as that option had not occurred to her. "I would make a very large clunk if I were to fall. I agree that the climb is less likely to be attended."

Drake thinks the rock fissure backdoor is unlikely to be guarded.
Marguerite raises the possibility that the lift may be trapped or worse.
Galesong nods in agreement ”Yea, the Kobolds we barged with told us that it would only carry one of us at a time without collapsing.”
Djala jokes that she would make a loud clunk if she fell. She pulls out rope from her backpack and begins tying climbing knots and using her expert knowledge to instruct anyone untrained on how to climb down using the rope.
With the rope in place, Marguerite is the first to climb down after a little trouble getting her footing at first; she completes the 30-foot descent without falling.
Looking around, she sees a yawning cavern twelve-foot-high with gigantic stalagmites filling the floor; they nearly touch tips with stalactites that descend almost an equal length from the ceiling. She is in the northern portion of the cave, having decided from a crack in the ceiling that leads to the forge room above. She doesn't see any guards.
R!Kktik free-climbs down the walls, making it look as easy as walking.
Djala begins to descend but gets tangled in the rope. It takes her twice as long to climb down as it did Tik, but she didn’t fall.
Drake follows Djala and Marguerite, managing the trip without any issue.
Squall, still moody, agrees to the descent plan following the others' example. He has some difficulties with the ropes, but eventually makes it down.
Galesong is the last to descend; he also has trouble with the ropes, but eventually makes it down without falling. ” Good call using the backdoor. Now what?”
The natural-looking cavern looks to be deserted except for the week-old carcass of a dead rabbit placed in the exit tunnel to the north.

"Squall" Blacktail |

Squall follows Djala into the room, and tries to recall if he's ever heard of anything resembling this frog-beast.

Djala closes with the kobolds, slashing at the blue one, she hits it twice! The kobold screeches in pain as it staggers from two deep wounds, but somehow it is still standing.
Squall follows Djala into the room, skittering to a stop when he sees a strange frog-like creature that he has no idea about. Throwing his hatchet, he kills the blue kobold before it has a chance to attack.
R!Kktik strides into the room and recognizes the creature as a Slurk, a sticky, tusked frog-beast that lives in underground caves, and can squirt entangling slime in addition to a nasty tusk attack.
Marguerite moves into the room and sends her spiritual dagger to attack the frog-beast, only to miss both times.
Drake moves further into the room and, using his magic staff, attempts to telekinetically throw debris at the yellow kobold, only to miss it.
Galesong, catching his breath, begins a Courageous Anthem ” More kobolds! The world needs less, not more!” but fails to linger the chant. Galesong nods in agreement with Tik, ” Yep, the frog creature is a Slurk all right. Its belly can extrude a slippery grease from ventral glands, causing the floor under it and around to become slippery!”
The yellow kobold draws a shortsword and strikes at Djala twice. Only one strike hits, causing a minor cut.
The Purple and Green kobolds both draw light crossbows, load them, and fire at Djala. One bolt hits Djala, causing another light wound, and the other bounds off her armor.
The frog-beast loudly croaks as it spits entangling slime at Squall, Drake, and Tik. A sticky slime ball hits Squall, coating the adventurer in sticky slime, causing him to become clumsy 1, and move 5ft slower for 1hr or until taking 3 actions to clean it off. More slime balls miss both Drake and Tik.

I think you forgot to include Galesong's renewed Anthem in the status block?
When the slurk spits upon him, Squall says something highly uncomplimentary about kobold animal husbandry in his native language. The tengu them circles around behind Djala to reach the yellow kobold, while sizing up this new target. He quickly draws a second blade with his free hand and stabs with it.

Raising his hand at the frog creature, Drake mutters an incantation to burn the Slurk and two Kobolds. Three bolts of fire surge forth, one barely hitting the Slurk with a heroic effort, and the other critically hitting the Green kobold, killing it. The Slurk makes an annoying ribet sound as it suffers the burn.
Covered in sticky goo, Squall circles around to reach his new prey, the yellow kobold. With a heroic effort, he critically strikes the kobold, killing it with a single blow!
Galesong yells out ” Good strikes Drake and Squall!”
Marguerite commands the spiritual armament to repeatedly strike the slurk. Only the first strike hits the slurk, leaving a deep wound. It shakes off the new wound, giving the sorcerer an angry look.
Finding the frog distasteful, Djala glances at the kobold, thinking to push it into the pit, but finds Squall has already dispatched it. She instead strikes at the slurk twice, but only one blow hits, wounding the frog-thing. It hisses as it takes the wound still standing.
R!Kktik steps to the side and hurls his chemical vial at the slurk, missing by a few inches, but still catching it in a splash. The frog makes a grumble sound.
Galesong renews his Courageous Anthem, not even trying to linger on it! ” See the kobolds dropping like flies around a sticky old toa,d soon to farm it will buy!” He telekinetically throws rocks at the frog, giving it a good thwack. The Slurk has taken a beating and is still standing.
The lone remaining kobold looks nervously at his fallen comrades, but belts out ” For King Merlokrep!” as he reloads and fires his crossbow at Djala, then draws his shortsword. The bolt hits Djala, giving her a new wound.
The slurk steps forward and strikes at Squall. The first tusk strike pierces the goo-covered tengu, the second misses. (Djala gets her reactive retribution strike on the slurk, as the damage is reduced on Squall)
