In other news, the thread's rather long. Does anyone mind summarizing what's happened so far?

I resent the implication that I'm asking for OOC knowledge for the purposes of abuse. I ask only as someone interested in what has apparently been a lively an engaging game, and at the same time someone with not an infinite amount of time on his hands.

I'm not implying that you're going to abuse anything. I just think it's more fun to find out what's happened in game, rather than out. Didn't mean to upset you.

In other news, which should I take as the feat at level 3?
Toughness gives me a ton more health, and with the manner in which I nearly died and then came back, makes sense to take.

On the other hand, I could take something like deadly aim, and then my DPR increases by 2 points a round, at the expense of me being slightly less accurate.

It makes a little more sense to take something like toughness, god knows I nearly died yet again out there, but I can't shake the feeling that what I really need is a headband of avoid stupidity and protect the party

A holy shrine in the underground is now an option. All healing there is empowered if good.

Talon and Seltyn level 3 -- rest of group close behind.

Seltyn will need access to a magic library in town to add his two level 2 spells.

As for me rolling Talons fort save you can smack me with the hammer if you want but is expect the same action from everyone else if I don't post over 24hrs from when the DM asked for something. If it was unwanted Chainmail then I won't do it again. But I just wanted to keep things moving forward.

The dice roller is equally cruel to all of us, with the exception of Chainmail. No one will blame you if it goes awry. LOL!

Thanks for posting as me. Its much appreciated. I try to be as active here as I can, but sometimes life surprises me. Am still interested in game. Just out of interest might it be a plan to introduce conditional orders to the game? Idea being that we all post what we would do in a couple of combat situations and then Chainmail runs the combat through

Ruling on laying on hands as a swift action.

The intent is for laying on hands as a swift action to occur once per round. It can be activated at any time, but then has a full round cool down time.

That will allow it to be used to stop a baddie, lets say a badass queen rat, at the moment she attacks to try to keep from taking damage to knock you unconscious. Then it must wait a full round (against that same baddie next round possibly) to be used again.

Just a question. 'Cure Light Wounds' is also a 'touch' type spell. Has Suny been in a position to use said spell on those who've been 'Rat-chow'?

Also, are we counting our poor other Elven lass as 'Fallen behind'? Will we be seeking another body for the replacing there of?

NOTE:I sincerely DO NOT seem to be wishing ill upon any one and am just asking to see if there can be any clarification upon the matter.

I also apologize for the abysmal time Suny seems to be having with her sword. The dice roller definitely seems to have a 'thing' for the numbers it generates, but then people tend to fixate upon the bad rolls and not upon the good. :)

I am hoping a character from the past can make a comeback and take Lienelda's place (hint: druid, rogue or bard). Suny is in position to use the touch spell, but as she is threatened by the rat, would provoke an attack.

I think chainmail has it in for us. The elves must have been real buggers in the last time that he ran this game, hence why he is nearly killing at least one of us each encounter :p

I dont think so, but might be wrong on that one. After an encounter like what we just had, you are probably close to third, but not there yet. Give it a bit of time and you will be there

+1 protection ring- The only thing I'd want. Better for one of the fighter types.

Ring of maniacal devices- Whoever has the best dex. Suny? Could be useful.

+1 brooch natural armor- One of our frontliners. Azlain? Wil? Suny?

+1 jeweled dagger- One of our melee guys, again. Need magic to hit some things.

Magic mithral chain shirt- Talon wants it. Might be best for him. The girls would like it, too.

Magic bastard sword- Too bad it wasn't a longsword. Sell it for armor?

Magic dagger- Melee guy.

Seltyn will use Identify later to make sure we're not missing something.

i'd trade the bejeweled dagger for armor as it would fetch a better price then a bastard sword.

If no one minds i'd like to claim the bastard sword for Wil, that is unless Azlain wants it i'd agree with Suny Wil or Azlain get the natural armor broach but i'm pretty laid back about it. As much as I would like to up Wil's armor it can wait until later though. Either way though I will wait for the group majority.

I'd like to see our melee fighters with some kind of magic weapons just in case we meet something we can't hurt without them. We can trade them for other things later, of course. Trading the expensive dagger for some magic armor would be a good deal.

The frontliners should get the +1 AC ring and amulet. You guys take a beating, so every little bit helps. Talon, Elorin and I stay back (ideally).

True but our squishy people can sometimes take a knife in the back. :x

You have shield and mage armor, which are awesome! But sometimes they won't save you from a good backstabbing. I do agree with your logic as well.

@chainmail: I know its a bit late but since we are out of combat I thought I would ask if I could exchange one of my weapons for a Elven Curve blade since I was the only one foolish enough not to grab one of those. lol
