Still here. Current story line is interesting.

Personally am feeling very under the weather and ahve been in a slight motor vehicle accident.

Shal be able to keep watching and looking for something for Suny to do.

Very much cheers to all. (^_^)

As Wil was not with the group from the beginning, here is some background.

The elven first quest was to trade magic seeds for basic supplies. The elven nation has a repository of seeds from the original life tree. Although this supply is not infinite, it is quite large. A crate of elven seeds was traded for enough supplies to keep the elven nation going for a year. Later, a crate was given to the humans that rebelled against oppressive rule.

Male Elf Rg 3 / Dr 2 HP: 30/33 AC:18

We should be able go get at least a bag from the Lady. These guys might be more useful to us than to our enemy.

Male Elf Rg 3 / Dr 2 HP: 30/33 AC:18

Hmm, thats a good question. Even I don't know IC. Seltyn?

Male Elf Ranger 4

I know, but there is a small problem. Namely that I am dead. :D

I think it's safe to assume Wil is up on the Fox's history.

Power's been out, here last 2 days.

Congrats--take your time. Enjoy the good baby smell while it lasts!!

HP 40/45, AC 21*, Fort +4, Ref +6, Will +8, ArcRes 2/8 Active Effects: Heightened Senses, Defending Bone (45), Extended Shield, Unseen Servant,

Your son's name is Ethanol? As in Booze?

He's going to be popular in collage. :)

Per +5, Low-Light Vision | HP 33/33 | AC 20, Touch 11, Flat 19 | F +4, R +2, W +10

Oh, man - babies. They may need their diaper changed like twelve times a day, but at least they don't complain about it. My toddler HATES diaper-changing time and will not hesitate to twist around trying to get back up again when he's been laid down for it, often resulting in making the "mess" more... widely distributed, say. See what you have to look forward to?

Enjoy the meconium, by the way. ;)

Wait....the hospital auto-correct changed the name from 'Ethan' to 'Ethanol'?

Wow...and here I was I thinking my Father misspelling my name on the certificate was the only one!

If you have a girl, name her Ethyl. You just don't see a lot of Ethyls, these days.

Male Human Sorcerer

Congrats on the newborn. The autocorrect gave me a chuckle or two.

Just to give fair warning, I'm going on vacation August 8-18 and will probably not have internet access. Even after I get back, it may take a few days to get caught up with everything again.

Male Elf Rg 3 / Dr 2 HP: 30/33 AC:18

Focus down the big bad. If I die during the combat, that isn't great, but happens. Important thing is to get you all out and alive.

What would you like as the new character? Should one be required that is

M Elf Wiz 9 Init +4/ HP 65/65// AC: 22 18/T:17/FF:14 - Percep: +11/ F 8/R 9/W 8 /CMB 4 - CMD 17

From what we know so far, these people rely heavily on arcane magic. How do the monsters react to divine magic? Is there no difference? We'll see.

Male Elf Rg 3 / Dr 2 HP: 30/33 AC:18

Yeah that will be an interesting thing to find out. Honestly though, it caught me by surprise. Who knows what magical goodies it might have in its tummy :D

You still have Who to use in combat... or did you forget the Gorilla? >.>;; Lol

Male Elf Rg 3 / Dr 2 HP: 30/33 AC:18

Haha, how could I forget the little guy. I never said I was useless for the moment. All I was saying is that perhaps we should have thrown caution to the wind and actually prepared all the magic :D

Male Elf Rg 3 / Dr 2 HP: 30/33 AC:18

Is anyone else thinking that now might be a really really good time to run away?

Apologies cm i will get that updated. My bad :(

No matter what the wording, let us have the feat give the healing bonus no matter who the LoH affects.

K Ty cm :)

Edit!:

Corrected he average omit reward of life to what you suggested.

The spoilers are updated as well, for some reason had to apply the changes 3 different times before they would stay. Its been weird been losing a lot of posts. Thankfully i save them in word first.

I looked to add the feat to my paladin. It is not as powerful as written. A generic cha bonus to all loh is fine (Max once per round though)

Yeah my bad there that's where my use of herolab is screwing thing up. :/ because not all of he verbage is included in the feats and so some come off ad better than they actually are. :/ since will is he only rally i play i didn't have the need to delve any deeper. Again apologies on my lack of detail.

So Ereiel died? O.o;

Male Elf Rg 3 / Dr 2 HP: 30/33 AC:18

Yeah basically. 5hp post healing, and took 19 damage in total, putting him at 2 points more damage than he needed for final death.

I will make someone new, or something. We once again have very little ranged combat utility. I might well make another archer, maybe focusing on a heavy crossbow or something this time. I am not sure. With going core rulebook only, then it almost seems worth it to go down the route of a plain fighter that uses heavy armour and a crossbow. Walks into battle, plonks his ass down and shoots people in the face. Its also pretty damned clear that multi classing makes for an almost pathetically weak character if you multiclass with rogue and druid. I gimped my own character, and for that I apologise.

Well i may be joining out in he dead ranks this round lol...

HP 40/45, AC 21*, Fort +4, Ref +6, Will +8, ArcRes 2/8 Active Effects: Heightened Senses, Defending Bone (45), Extended Shield, Unseen Servant,

Multiclassing with a caster is rough normally. With core book only, it's a really big hindrance and can be very frusterating.

A dedicated archer could be a good choice, but crossbowers have to dump two extra feats into being able to take more than one shot a round with a heavy crossbow. A longbow is just better, which is why it's Martial.

Have you considered a barbarian? They have great low-mid level survivability and great damage porential. We could also really use a Cleric, which are also hard to kill because of heavy armor and lots of healing options. With buffing spells and a polearm you could piggyback one of the frontliners and contribute a lot to our average damage when you weren't buffing or healing.

Lol we have a cleric Thalas :)

But your advice hits everything that I could suggest Azlain.

This was the part of the adventure (getting the ship) that was opening up a sandbox mode.

Think of a seagoing Kingmaker. Lots of research on Magellan and explorers had me build a set of exploration rules for the open sea.

Given the sporadic posting in both threads and attrition, I think I will be pushing things to the dungeon-crawling conclusion rather than run things to the level 20 cap planned.

After the battle with the magic sucking bulette (yes, there was only one, but he was quite a badass) I will probably start the finale.

Awwww :( I love kingmaker mode though but it is your game Incan try and pick up my posting speed and I have a friend looking to join the boards if he is needed. He wants to play something monstrous like a gnoll or ratfolk if possible but he's really neat to have. :)

Oh apologies! Fixing up right now Internet has been really sporadic lately,

2d6 + 3 ⇒ (5, 5) + 3 = 13 doh

Hp = -1
Rutroh!

HP 40/45, AC 21*, Fort +4, Ref +6, Will +8, ArcRes 2/8 Active Effects: Heightened Senses, Defending Bone (45), Extended Shield, Unseen Servant,

With the way this fame tends to go for us, another cleric might not be a bad idea...

True that! :)

Note to self get heavier armor lol and maybe dodge feat.

HP 40/45, AC 21*, Fort +4, Ref +6, Will +8, ArcRes 2/8 Active Effects: Heightened Senses, Defending Bone (45), Extended Shield, Unseen Servant,

That's what I did. All the defense I could muster. Hasnt saved me.

Next step, I'm getting a tower shield and switching to a longsword.
