Eclipse Phase (Inactive)

I have a problem, that problem is trying out different rule systems when I get access to them. I've been reading over Eclipse Phase for a while now, the trans-humanity idea is really hooking me into the world.

Just wondered if there was anyone who'd be interested in playing? I know the quick start rules are online, possibly the entire book. It's a bit complicated but once you get through the rules barrier, things get simpler.

So, skimmed through the wiki and mechanics seems simple enough (just roll under and you're good to go) and the setting looks good. I'm interested.

I spent a large amount of time reading into the system and i am interested. I wanted to run a game one day but wow there are a lot of rules.

Do you have a link to the quick-start rules? Or are they in the book farther than i've read?

I am interested in playing and have the books/PDFs. Can use a pregen or make my own depending on what you want to do.

Huh, slow roll of interested players over a week and we got 4.

I'm going to run a pre-gen adventure. The adventure I'm running suggests you all use one of the following characters, though if you insist you may play a different pre-gen.

As this is a somewhat new system for me, I ask you stick to pre-gen characters so we can get used to the system. If all goes well, maybe we can go onto something bigger with original characters.

Background
The characters are all currently working for the argonaut faction on the Kepler remote space station, performing various types of research (or acting as support staff). Their exact background details may be improvised by the players and game- master during gameplay, as necessary.

I'll get a campaign page set up soon, until then, please immerse yourselves in the rules and world as they are half the fun of Eclipse Phase

I will roll with the Titanian Explorer and I'll try to find a good Swedish name for them.

Where is the Kepler station in relation to the solar system?

Interested in the idea, but I think I'll just lurk and watch for now :)

Ah well, count on me if someone drops. =)

[I, ah, I kinda made a EP character for a game once. It had a few deeply commited players and we were all learning the system. The DM was new but was very, very helpful to all of us! It was an exciting time with lots of discussion posts and many late-nights pouring over the complicated rulebook.

After the first gameplay post we never heard from the DM again. :((]
