Bruh. You know that feeling when you're just on the web and you come across that perfect picture for how you imagined your character?
Gloria looks like this. And it's a good feeling.

Right, I meant to ask (Rolando). Many of your skills, like Stealth and AC, list your Dexterity modifier as being +4 despite your Dexterity being 14 from the best I can tell. Am I missing something cool about your character or is that an error?
Disclaimer: I'm not trying to be difficult or anything. I'm honestly just curious. I've been looking over everyone's characters and they're all really cool builds. I just came across that question along the way.

Oops! Total mistake. Possibly because I used another character as a Template instead of using a character builder, possibly because it was late at night and I rushed it, doesn't really matter.
I will correct it.

We don't even know who these people are or that they're necessarily hostile. They are probably also aware that we are nearby. They just don't know we're that close. Unless someone knows better, I'd be tempted to just go talk to the guards. My character certainly doesn't know any better.

Do we know what is hiding in there yet? More than likely it's bad news of course. How are people on Stealth? Ry'klead sucks at it, well, he can turn into a cloud of burning gas, but that's a touch aggressive :P
If there is an insanely sneaky person in the party?
And a question for our DM. How loud is Quay's Spider when it moves?

Gloria Lindgren |

I have the second best stealth. If I'm not mistaken from my character perusing before, Eloith is crazy good at stealth. +18 or +20 or something like that.

Gavmania |

A lot of us are fairly sneaky, which is why I want to do a bit of reconnaissance, find out what or who these creatures are. The fact that they have a fortified camp in the Mournlands suggests they are Military in nature, which doesn't bode well for diplomatic relations. Really it depends on why they are here. If they are in a fortified camp, is it because they are hostile or are expecting hostiles? are they just acting out of tradition? I really don't like the idea of a bunch of heavily armed Militarised humanoids sitting across our exit from the Mournlands. If we find out who they are then decide we can we can come to a diplomatic agreement, then fine, we'll try it; but let's gather some intelligence first.

Gloria Lindgren |

Well I'll cover whoever decides to sneak in there. Am I the smartest? No. But I am pretty darn tough.

Gloria Lindgren |

I was all for the last one. XD I'm a follower here though, so I'm waiting to see who scouts before I post.

Tentacledone |

I think the plan was for Rolando or Eloith (or both) to sneak up and do a little investigating with Gloria as back up. If memory serves they are clustered 20-30 feet ahead of Ry'klead and Bertholdt. And I think those 2 are 5-10 feet ahead of the spider.
And the oven is in the Spider so Gloria would have to come back all the way back to the non scouts :P
p.s. Have a good time on the vacations guys! :)

Gloria Lindgren |

I'll probably post that I'm going ahead with sneaking if no one does tomorrow. I am tied for second best stealth, but would be best if not for my -1 ACP. So there could be worse scouts. XD

I agree, that was the plan.

Gloria Lindgren |

I'm now of the opinion that we go ahead and surprise round these guys. Gloria isn't a fan of the undead.

Gloria Lindgren |

Guys. I'm still here. I just have very little say in the conversation at hand. Without being disruptive anywho. I may post tomorrow as filler anyway, but I don't want anything thinking I've jumped ship.

Gloria Lindgren |

Baha. I think I'll let at least Falko weigh in before I respond. Heads up; Gloria isn't going to start an actual combat fight or anything, but she's not happy. Were this a book, I might would have her kick the skeleton's head off. It's not, so probably a verbal head kicking instead. :P

Tentacledone |

I was totally going more for them arguing back and forth, not actually fighting. That's actually the last thing I would want to happen :)
Magical abnormalities are something Ry'klead is rather passionate about, he's a little weird/crazy like that :P And, since Gloria is a bit on the passionate side of curb stomping magical things, I figure this would be a good place for their ideal's to butt heads a little. While the rest of the party just stares at the two arguing, going "WTF you two?!"
Like I mentioned, this was just too juicy of a roleplaying spot for me to let pass up. Plus, it gives Xor'Xic a chance to show off a little, it's kinda flashy like that. That, and this is the first time I've been able to show another facet of Ry'klead. And it might lead to the aberration revealing more about himself since he's a little manic at the moment :) Depending on the question :P
But, I also don't want to leave the rest of players twiddling their thumbs , I'm sure that they might find the developing situation interesting :) At least, I hope so.

Lol, I was expecting this. Quite happy to go along for the ride.
Not entirely sure where I stand on this myself - I get that Eberron blurs the lines of alignment, but as far as I can see all undead are still Evil; not sure if this is a legacy of the whole D&D thing (Undead are always Evil), or if it's more a case of undead are normally Evil (but if that was so, maybe King Kaius I/III would not be Evil, or is he classified as Evil because of what he did to his grandson?)
Anyway, I am willing to buy into the idea that this guy (Falko) has been changed by the day of Mourning, and therefore maybe he is no longer Evil. I'll at least give him the chance to prove himself.
