Trap Expert
When you spend a moment to survey a dangerous area, roll +DEX
----On a 10+, hold 3.
----On a 7-9, hold 1.

Spend your hold as you walk through the area to ask these questions:
----Is there a trap here and if so, what activates it?
----What does the trap do when activated?
----What else is hidden here?

Tricks of the Trade
When you pick locks or pockets or disable traps, roll +DEX.
----On a 10+, you do it, no problem.
----On a 7-9, you still do it, but the GM will offer you two options between suspicion, danger, or cost.

Backstab
When you attack a surprised or defenseless enemy with a melee weapon, you can choose to deal your damage or roll +DEX
----On a 10+ choose two.
----On a 7-9 choose one.
1. You don't get into melee with them.
2. You deal your damage +1d6
3. You create an advantage, +1 forward to you or an ally acting on it.
4. Reduce their armor by 1 until they repair it.

Flexible Morals
When someone tries to detect your alignment you can tell them any alignment you like.

Poisoner
You have mastered the care and use of the Oil of Tagit poison. It is no longer dangerous for you to use. Whenever you have time to gather materials and a safe place to brew you can make three uses of the Oil of Tagit for free. The Oil of Tagit is Applied, and must be carefully applied to the target or something they eat or drink.

Backstory:
Morley is a war orphan, who spent his toddler years at the McGree Orphanage, with no knowledge of his ancestry. At age five he left the orphanage and lived on the streets of various cities, sometimes stowing away in caravans to stay ahead of the local constables. By necessity he took to a life of petty theft to survive, until a local apothecary took pity on him. From age ten Morley lived and worked in the apothecary shop. Often, late at night after the apothecary had gone to sleep, Morley would sneak down to the store floor, pick the lock, disable the alarm traps set by the apothecary, and study the texts on poisons, enthralled by the possibility of leveling the playing field against the brutes that he had struggled against during his formative years.

At age 14, he began using Oil of Tagit to allow him to sleep without night terrors. At age 16, he required such a large dose to sleep that he abandoned the apothecary and joined a local thieves' den to pay for his habit. He worked as a breaker, picking locks, disabling traps, and relieving the more fortunate of their valuables.

At age 18, he and his cohort were arrested after being set up by their fixer, Syllix the Grey. Awaiting execution, Morley received a visit from an odd halfling, who offered him his freedom in exchange for three years' service as a scout and breaker.

Morley accepted without hesitation, and together, the human and halfling rode out of town past the gallows set up for his crew. Morley never looked back.

His drug use makes him unreliable, but he is a quick study despite his lack of a formal education. He successfully begged, bribed, or otherwise convinced Locrian to teach him the blade and Archepex to teach him the bow, until a recent series of misunderstandings set the others against him. Those incidents with Bathilda were particularly damning. How could he tell her that he had actually thought he was in his own tent without explaining his addiction?

Despite these setbacks, he means to prove himself to the others, especially Grigor, who gave him the most valuable piece of advice he has ever received: "Nobody cares if the dead man fought with honor."
