I picked up a rank in Linguistics so Nella could learn Skald too! Depending on who/what she encounters over the next three scenarios she might pick up another rank so she can finally learn Goblin at 5th level, hehe. Oh and the chronicle sheet looks good, thank you!

I'm working tonight and tomorrow night, have my F2F game on Sunday, then have to be back at work by 4am Monday morning so a little weekend break while people finish leveling and getting equipment in order wouldn't bother me in the least. Of course I can keep going if not, I just might be a bit slow on getting purchases hammered out :)

Changing out her spells adding presdigitatuon cuz she won't be a hot mess, Charm Person for clw and tasha laughter at 2nd level

Learning the local lingo can never hurt.

Just for informations sake...

Linnorm Kingdoms is generally Skald (you've run into a bunch of this)
Irrisen (where you're headed) is a little bit Skald and a little bit Hallit (you've run into the later briefly with Natalya in the first chapter, and Tchak's pal Bjarni spoke it frequently)
East of Irrisen is generally Hallit.

And of course, you've hit on goblinoid a few times =)

What kinds of things can we buy in terms of magical items?

You've only 6 Fame... so you're limited to the 'always available stuff', things that have shown up on your chronicle sheets, and anything else worth 500 gp or less... oh, and anything you can purchase with prestige points.

The 500 gp limit is due to your fame, that amount goes up as you gain more (as per the chart in the Guide).

Always available = +1 weapons (except firearms), +1 armor, 1st level potions, and 1st level scrolls

Prestige spending = 1 point for something 150 gp or less.
2 points for something 750 gp or less.

Anyway, check the PFS Roleplaying Guild guide... around page 19/20 or so.

Crossbow Bolt x20, Alchemical Silver (42gp)
Holy Weapon Balm (30gp)

Character Notes:

Nella will store her Cure wand on one wrist sheath and her Bless wand in the other.

She'll also leave one spell slot open each for 1st and 2nd level, to take advantage of the '15 minutes to load a spell' deal for cases where a spell that's highly situational might actually be useful.

I think she's good to go :)

So real life is mimicking fantasy now. We just got 6-8 inches of snow here where I live. The largest snow storm since 2008. Kinda like we're stuck outside of Whitethrone in the snow. :-)

I'm loving it. And my kids are loving the snow days too. But at this point the snow days are starting to eat into summer vacation... they don't like that so much.

What the hell! I'm in the pacific northwest too... where's my snow! =(

Guess you don't live in the right part of the PNW. You're probably a Washingtonian instead of an Oregonian.

Bah, Oregon hardly counts as Northwest! =)

You'd think further north, it'd be colder! *pout*

Just as an aside... the boon from the 1st scenario we ran (for the +2 on Diplomacy rolls in Irrisen) has two caveats to its use... mentioning the Yagevna family name and how you assisted said family.

My wife isn't into PF (or any RPGs) either but last year I brought her and my three teenagers. The two boys and I went to the con while my wife and daughter stayed in our room watching movies and hanging out. They seemed to like doing that. Plus, they were always getting us snacks and food because I think they thought we were starving. For some reason there are no breaks between sessions and Paizocon so if you don't bring food with you, you don't eat. Hmm. Sounds familiar...

(:P)

I realize this fight is taking a considerable amount of time =) (the Bless runs out next round, for pete's sake!)
Combined factor of all of the damage dealers being out of tier in the higher tier, very high hp/AC enemies, and their (in)convenient positioning.

But, for the record, this is the lowest CR encounter you're going to come across here... so will be interesting to see how the rest of the scenario plays out after this.

Liberty's Edge

FFemale half-elf bard 5/evangelist 1 ( Pathfinder Campaign Setting: Inner Sea Gods ) NG Medium humanoid (elf, human) Init +3; Senses low-light vision; Perception +13 AC 19, touch 12, flat-footed 18 (+7 armor, +1 deflection, +1 Dex) hp 39 (6d8+6) Fort +3, Ref +7, Will +6; +2 vs. enchantments, +4 vs. bardic performance, language-dependent, and sonic Immune sleep

[ooc[ How close to a rest are we? [/ooc]

Rests are not advised... you're in the enemy stronghold.

Scarab Sages

In other words, you guys are barely making it out of this one alive but don't worry, it only gets harder from here.

Why did my TPK radar just go active?

Seriously I do think we will have to find somewhere to hole up and rest after this encounter. If not here then in another building. We got extremely lucky the first goblin fell to his death and all of us are seriously hurting. I am amazed no one has been dropped to negatives so far.

Well, to be fair, the goblin fell to his death with 2 hit points left =)
Hope someone other then Nella thought to get a healing wand.

Really, explosive bomb discovery is just mean at low levels with room to use it.

Nella's wand still has a fair amount of juice in it and I know Jones also has his own personal wand, thankfully. But yeah...we'll have to be really careful with how we proceed. Rest would be ideal but I'm really not sure how feasible it would be even if we were able to slip out of this building and find another abandoned one close by :\

This is fun!

Finally got some snow in Seattle!

Yay for a snow day!

Of course, all I have to eat are chocolate chip cookies I baked on the weekend... hmm... Perhaps not the most auspicious diet.

On a game note:
Will give Tchak a little more time to post his action (and 2 saves) since he's in a bit of a pickle there at the moment... (and with my horrible dice this scenario, you don't want me rolling your saves for you!).
