Male Catfolk Ninja 1 (HP: 7/7)

I'm left handed. Just for flavor.
Can I also make a marker post? With an actual character description so it isn't wasted space?
If so, is there a tavern, etc, in town?

Female Half-elf Fighter 1

Sorta Ambadextious- trained in using left hand for weaponry instead of right.
But my left hand is unusable- it always has a sword on it.

Kk

Everyone post your entering of Sandpoint; you have all come for the Swallowtail Festival and consecration of the new church.

M Extrodinaraly Contrary Meatbag Fourm pyromancer 1

Uh... Can i have a it more detail on what the swollow tail festival is and...

!

Wait, i actually know that...
That's the desnan ritualistic releasing of butterflies, isn't it?

Male Catfolk Ninja 1 (HP: 7/7)

Yay! Desnians!
...
I like desnian.
...
OK. She's my new Goddess. Sarenrae is my second.

Only clerics have that restriction.

Male Catfolk Ninja 1 (HP: 7/7)

Fine. Desna second Sarenrae First.
Our organization believes in a journey of faith before being accepted to the highest rankings. Desna is one we worship as she is goddess of travelers.

Note, if you worship Desna, you're supposed to bring your own box of swollowtail butterflies.

M Extrodinaraly Contrary Meatbag Fourm pyromancer 1

Flint, you cannot wield a shield and a great-sword at the same time, unless the shield is a buckler. If it is a buckler, then whenever you attack you lose the shield bonus to ac and take a -1 to hit.

Male Catfolk Ninja 1 (HP: 7/7)

I don't know where to get butterflies.
I'll buy a single one in a small cage to participate with. I could see that being sold in a booth.
A gp sound fair for that?

M Extrodinaraly Contrary Meatbag Fourm pyromancer 1

It's a flavor-text ritual, with no price set. In other words, i don't think you even have to pay- you would already know how and what to do as a desnan.

(Though, as a paladin, you may not really have the time to go out and catch some)

Shadow Lodge

Male. Vaguely humanoid Ninja 3/Bard 1/Ranger 2/Scholar 1

my character caught his own

fair, and the shopkeeper will thank you for your generosity... but wait for fcd

Male Catfolk Ninja 1 (HP: 7/7)

Oops.
Longsword and an extra 35 for me, then.

Male Catfolk Ninja 1 (HP: 7/7)

Recorded new GP total of 101 with longsword instead of great. Still rather large so the flavor text stands.
(Went ahead and subtracted one for the butterfly.)

I put my character through a generator so I wouldn't screw it up and accidently choose a non core thing, and the number of spells I get suprised me

3 spells

that's not much

but then I'm used to sorcerers

Everyone please pm me your prepared spell lists for today.

I keep close eye on that ;)

I prepare "stab with weapon" 14400 times.

(If you cast it once a round, the rounds add up to exactly 24 hours.)

Male Catfolk Ninja 1 (HP: 7/7)

I don't get spells yet.
And when I do, they're divine and not arcane, right?

DK I'll drop you a PM, but I'll also keep track of my spells in my profile, with a strike through any exhausted spells. Kay?

Flint Rustboro wrote:

Yes that is correct.

Remember that you can use any wand of a spell on your class spell list, even before you have access to spells.

Male Catfolk Ninja 1 (HP: 7/7)

Coolness. No failure chance. :)
Also didn't know that. Thanks. Not that I can afford wands, yet anyways.

Lawful stick is rules lawyer

You plan on following the spirit of the law correct?

Breaking any law is still repugnant

To a degree.

He is a member of an order, so the order's laws come first, not the city laws. (Though, any good city will have nearly exactly the same laws.)

Personally, i think paladins should be required to be neutral good, true exemplars of the virtues of mankind. But hay, that's just me.

"Oh, this man is going to be executed because the law says so. He didn't do it, but i don't have the ability to show it. Oh well, sitting back and watching him die."

Male Catfolk Ninja 1 (HP: 7/7)

I follow the laws and my code, but the good of people always has to come first.
Should the time call for it and people are in danger, laws can be bent....

I remember in 3.5 there was a paladin of every alignment, if I'm recalling correctly. They usually didn't change overmuch in abilities, just some reflavouring.

there was

it was an attempt at updating from when they had that back in 2e

in 2e the NG (or possibly CG I forget) one had arcane casting.

there was a paladin of the 4 extreme alignments.

Paladin of law LG
Paladin of freedom CG
Paladin of slavery LE
paladin of cruelty CE

I remember at least there being a Paladin of Compassion which was NG (I had a character who was this).

Either way, neither here nor there.

Ahh.. hello there...

DK asked me to post a hello.

anyway what are your opinions on an additional hero to save Sandpoint?

Grushdeva du kalt misht

Since he is being shy.

Does anyone object to Edward Sobel joining our game with a bard?

anything you want so long as it is core everything

current party

1 human paladin

1 halfling druid

1 elf wizard (conjurer) *me*

1 human fighter

I'd love to have a 5th member, round us out esp if you choose a Cleric or Bard

You guys have amusing timing.

As an actual answer: no, I don't mind.

Female Half-elf Fighter 1

I don't.

Just don't steal my gig.
(If you managed to with core rules, i would be amazed.)

Grushdeva du kalt misht

Its unanimous unless the loving pally says no

Yes.

normally Icehawk's response would be rude
but we both know the guy, he would have no problem with it
(and if he does I will be very surprised)

Bards are super easy with Core rules.

Arcane Strike is awesome, and Core.

Only thing they miss is Lingering Performance, but Extra Music can almost make up for that.

I meant managing to steal the rouge's job.

Trapfinding... next level, anyway.
