Here are a couple rumors for everyone. Remember, rumors may or may not be true. I gave everyone two, Paul and Monica share one because of their shared backstory.
A paladin named Baine Strongbow was slain in Brindenford by assassins after driving off a powerful spellcasting hag that lives in Dragon's Delve. His potent sword, Grace, was stolen and now lies somewhere in the dungeon.
If one delves very deep into Dragon's Delve, one may discover the hidden tomb of the sorcerer-priest Orr, filled with great treasures but guarded by some of the deadliest traps ever devised.
There is only so far down that a human can travel in Dragon's Delve before they die-only inhuman creatures can reach the bottom

Paul, I am not sure about hero labs, but if you go to my aliases, a few of my characters (namely the ones with spoilers under the portrait) have examples. It is a bit time intensive and takes a few revisions, but you can copy some of them and use them as a template. All of the formatting I used can be found near the bottom of this page where it says "How to format your text" with a show button on it. I will see what I can do about making a template for you all so you can just enter what you want within the template.
Mike mentioned something about herolabs having a section where you can convert your char info into a statblock format but you will have to ask him about it.

Adrasteia Deimos |

No worries gio, that was a typo on my part. I listed all three of you as good instead of neutral.
My head is killing me so I'll give submitted characters a once over tomorrow.
You should go to Lenscrafters, get your glasses in an hour and feel better :(
It's more expensive but at least you won't be in pain anymore?

I went to lenscrafters and they sat me around for an hour talking about options and then said they would have to order the lenses I needed and it would take 10 business days.
The optometrist I found could get them in 3-5 business days, and gave me loaners which are as close as they could get to my prescription til then.
My big problem is that my eyes are way different and the loaners are the same, so it totally throws me off.
And I think paul got it since they had put up their chars before my post last night, that is why I didn't address it there. Herolab does have a really nice tool for exporting to bbform, it makes it pretty.

Sounds good to me. I should have a little quiet to look over the numbers for everyone pretty soon.
Once that starts to be done I think we are going to be ready to go.
Any thoughts on meeting up? You all have your own reasons for wanting to go into the dungeon, but I'm curious what you all think would bring this group together. Even just being outcasts might do that. Bobby is the only normal one, and he's set up to be a guide.

Adrasteia Deimos |

Hmmm... I think me running into Bobby in town makes sense, as I'm actively looking to get in there and may have been directed to him or heard about him as a guide by someone in town. I could have met Yoshi on the way maybe? I'll talk to him about it when he wakes up. I don't know about Paul and Mon' s backstory, but maybe we met up in town and find eachother as we gather information?

Variel Lothloren |

I had set myself up as part of a family of elves that has guided people to the ruins for money for a long time, so it would make sense if people are looking for a guide, that I"d be the choice. Since this group is supposed to be my first solo-run as a guide, it wouldn't seem so odd that the group is a little...out of the ordinary until I learn better.

DrMonMons |

Paul and I live outside the town with a tribe that took us in after we both escaped (separately) being slaves. I don't go into town much as I hate normal humans, civilized society, and nobles because of my childhood. But Paul probably met one of you guys one one of his trips to town and came back to me?

Xukari Tiichir |

Within a year the clan had turned into a war band, setting up raids with dozens of other monstrous races. The peaceful kobold grew more disturbed at the actions of his kin and had many times thought of running away and taking his chances in the light filled world above. Xukari's reluctance and strange manner got the immediate attention of Grixtak and wanting to snuff out any insubordination, the chieftain ordered Xukari to accompany a raiding party to attack a caravan that had goods and weapons they could use. That is when he met him; Ezdrik the Lore Seeker.
The caravan was protected by a set of five adventurers working as bodyguards to gain easy passage to Brindenford. The attacking kobolds were dispatched easily and Xukari was left standing amidst a dozen dead kobolds. The only thing that had stayed their hand was the fact that their cleric had caught the unmistakable flow of channeled healing during the fight and the sharp eyed Lore Seeker had noticed the kobolds reluctance to attack.
The Lore Seeker took Xukari under his wing and taught him the history of Dragonkind. The kobold took an interest in the gold dragon's writing and was gifted, by the Lore Seeker, the Draconic Apsu putting him on the path of worship to the Exiled Wyrm. Having traveled with the Lore Seeker and his band of adventurers Xukari returned to his place of birth with a desire to rid the Delve of the dreaded red that resides within.

So, it sounds like more or less that I have met most if not all of you at one point or another. I guess all I really need to know is wither or not all of you have expressed interest at one time or another of taking a dive into the delve.

I would have approached you specifically about entering the Delve. That's pretty much the only reason I've been looking for you :)

Variel Lothloren |

Alright, so probably what I would do is after the last of you lets me know about your wishes to see the Delve, I'd send out a message to everyone, inviting them to a meeting likely at my home in town. I know that some of the people in the group might not like the place because of his family being fairly well off, but it's likely the only place in town that I could gather them all without drawing a lot of attention so that I can talk to them. Likely this would coincide with his parents leaving for some trip or to visit some relatives in another town, telling him to remember his training, and not to take any crazy groups for his first time running things on his own without supervision. Since elves like to take their time with things, they'll likely be gone for a few months thus giving my hero the perfect opportunity to actually go into the delve without having to deal with repercussions from his family.
Just throwing it out there, do you think you guys would accept his invitation to meet at his place in the town?

Litonya |

Looks over Orryn's sholder as he reads the letter then rolls her eyes and sighs
"You and your hoity-toity friends.... I bet he will have a draw bridge, and a carriage pick us up, and those tiny forks no one knows how to use"

Adrasteia Deimos |

Adrasteia crumples the note and closes her eyes. After taking a deep breath she looks beyond the dark forest toward the keep. "It's starting" she says softly to herself, she flops onto her side and thinks about the best way to approach Variel's home.
"I'll just go at dawn, the townspeople seem uncomfortable when I'm around"

Alright, sorry guys, long weekend away and just getting new glasses now. I'm starting to build my way through characters now and make some notes. I'll have those up tonight, and I'm going to have a more official 'first post' that I can put over on the campaign board too. I figure that will let us get a little RP in while things get finalized. I don't see much in the way of changes needing to be done, just cleanup, so that won't take too long and we'll be off the the delve.

Alright, I have a gameplay thread up.
I took bobby's initial post and basically ran with that. Going over characters has taken longer than expected and I've had less time than expected so I'm not quite done yet, but they are mostly done. I haven't seen any notes I need to give you guys that would affect any sort of RP stuff, so lets get started over on the other thread!
