I'm actually not going to read the thread so far; I figure Kadosh won't know anything about what's going on, so I'm not going to either. That said, I'm happy to have him get involved however's easiest for GM Ironcat.

Well, I do remember we did miss a section of cave on the previous map. So maybe with the guys not feeling well in a deep... Dark, vault like place with horrors that we don't really know or care to know creep around every corner and sift through the sand right under our feet...

Maybe a good reason is that we could use some supplies since we did not expect to find such a... Vast cave system and Caedmon and Viorec wish to get some fresh air.

It's my wife's grandmother, so not quite as emotional for me, but I appreciate the sentiments.

I will be on work travel from (nominally) Jan 22 through February 6. In practice, this should have minimal impact on my posting except on the very begging and ending travel dates.

No worries. I like the role-play so far; seems like a good group. (One question -- who's Val; I didn't see him in the characters tab so I'm not quite sure who/what I'm reacting to.)

Triax, sorry Kadosh is going to be a jerk to you for a while. Hopefully he'll get over it but in the meantime please be assured that it's all in character and not the player (he's a Luddite and will need to come to appreciate you). :)

Val Baine: Khonnir Baine's adoptive daughter. Studied under Khonnir alongside Tabitha Flynn. Good with her hands, and apparently more level-headed than Tabitha.

One of the things I like about the Iron Gods AP is that it lets me look for more electric-instrument using soundtracks without it feeling entirely out-of-place.

I was considering using this instead, but I thought "No, no, that's a bit too obvious."

Japanese seems more apropos, but maybe that's just me. Probably doesn't really matter as long as we all know what's going on.

That said, I think PBP players should come up with a universal agreement on what languages are used for each fantasy language and come up with a master list somewhere. :)
