You're welcome Dejah. Though I am beginning to wish I could have used one of the batteries we found and sold it so I could have had a bit more funds for scrolls. >.<

And about the Silver disks themselves, I basically used them. Just converted the amount they are worth into gold for ease of management. Since each one is worth a platinum piece, or 10 gold each.

The batteries on the other hand since it looks like we are saving those, are worth 100 Gold each.

It sounds about right. There should be 56 silver disks laying about, with a few of them being working batteries?

Also, unless we have other purchases to do, I think I am ready to head back to the Foundry and begin doing the work of adding spells and making scrolls. And maybe also take another shot at that big machine with the Technomancy spell. Since I have Technologist, that is a +10 to the Kn Engineering! ^_^


Alright--that should make my job easier.

Incidentally, did anyone claim the masterwork gear?

Dejah divided ALL the silver discs among the group. The batteries are part of the group loot we aren't selling, yes (some have been claimed already). We are also keeping the potions as group loot.

I believe Jasper wanted/claimed the Masterwork +1 Studded Leather. I'll look back at the list to see of any of the other masterwork items were claimed.

Tabitha already claimed one of the MW Thieve's Tools. There was originally three I think.


In that case, any additional Mwk Thieves' Tools would get you an additional 50 GP on top of the totals I've calculated.

Well, I am still curious about the 56 silverdisks we got while under the Hill. Are we going to split those up as well?

Those items in the selling column were the remaining items after people claimed their stuff. There was one m/w thieves tools remaining (1 from 3) after Dejah and Tabitha claimed a set each.

We received a pouch with 49 batteries, worth 10gp each from Sef, the Skulk leader. We then found 7 more silver disks/batteries in the gremlin rubble pile, totalling 56. So, yes, I included the batteries we received from the Skulks.

I'm getting confused b/w the use of silver disks and batteries? At times they seem to be different things and other times the same thing. Please clarify, GM Ironcat.

As to the 56 batteries, yes we can divide them, but when I asked twice before, no one said anything. So, I didn't divide them up.

No worries re not wanting any of the loot, Kadosh. :) (Although to be honest, Dejah already gave you your portion of the silver disks she found in Garmen's warehouse. ;))

961.5 GP (this includes the value of the one set of m/w Thieves tools) split 8 ways (Dejah, Jasper, Tabitha, Kadosh, Triax, Val, Cade, Viorec) = 120gp to each person (with 1.5gp left in the group kitty).

56 batteries split 8 ways = 7 batteries per person, each valued at 10gp/1 platinum piece.

Silverdisks = batteries. 'Silverdisks' is what most folks call them--'battery' is their proper name. Sorry if this resulted in any confusion.

Okay, looks like I forgot completely of the magic weapon scroll I have bought near the start of this PBP. I decided to add Air Bubbble, Magic Weapon, and Vanish to my spellbook. Leaving the scroll of Identify alone for now.

Though I am ready to start the way down, but can I have visited the General Store again before we head under the Hill? I want to get 150 Gold worth of Inscribing Supplies for more scrolls, just in case. Is that alright?

If it us helpful, technological gear (including batteries aka silver disks) are discussed in the prd here.

Silver disks as coinage can't be recharged (barring DM fiat), while silver disks as batteries can (with 20% failure chance). So, you should track the two separately.

I've found as a player that's the easiest way for me to keep track of things, as otherwise I have to open up the character alias page and hit edit and it's just a lot more steps that I invariably forget to do. Especially at higher levels when I may have a lot of effects, I can just list them all there too so I don't forget them.

I originally really liked doing the stats in the race line of the alias, but I found I wasn't good about keeping it up to date. I haven't played a ton of spellcasters, but I feel like this is the best way for me to remember what I've got prepared, etc.

When we start a new fight, I go into my posts and just look for the last time I posted it and copy-and-paste the info in. When we sleep, I just use it from the "macro" I've built at the top of my character sheet.

My vote would be we roll them.

I was going to say you roll them, but there are a lot of special abilities that depend upon the roller having a chance to modify the roll which require player participation. Maybe not so much for this party, although Dejah might have a few relevant abilities.

I am fine either way. I can see an expedient way by you rolling it. But I can see the satisfaction by rolling out own save and making it.

GM Irocat: I'm assuming that because its whole body is now inside its shell we don't have to roll a Fort save when we draw near this round? And secondly, if it's out of its shell and as long as we are near the thing and not entrapped, we have to roll a Fort save each round to save from being entrapped?

Dejah: I'll rule that you don't need to make Fort saves on approach while it's hiding in its shell. If it's out of its shell, you'll need to make Fort saves every round you're within 10 ft of it to avoid entrapment.
