On a (somewhat) related note, I was certain you guys were going to have more trouble with this encounter, judging from what I've read on the boards. Of course, I didn't account for Jasper being a gorram crit magnet.

Well, it is prone after all. So I wouldn't be surprised by him connecting so many times. But I am still surprised by the crit chances for nearly every strike against that zombie.

Thats the best i have ever rolled on here lol. Plus having an 18-20 crit range helps.

Oh, I wasn't complaining. Too much.

Well, I have to say I wasn't expecting what happened. But I must say it was interesting. It is rather nice to see them go like that.

And since we're in a slight lull in the pbp, can I ask if there will be time to devote to crafting after level 3? I think I will take the feat, Craft Wondrous Item. I am curious because this would be my first time ever doing this, and it intrigues me.

There may be time to devote to crafting after Level 3. It all depends on whether you want to spend some time crafting.

I'm going to be honest with the lot of you--I feel this game is running out of steam. We've spent this long one one combat already...

I feel that is partially my fault. I'm trying to post more, but work has swamped me.

So I can see how things are slowly coming to a crawl.

I agree, to a degree. I was going to suggest -- but didn't want to be too forward -- that you group initiative. I also think getting back to five players would be smart. I know it's discouraging having to get new players in (sometimes it really is easier to just retcon and pretend they've always been there), but I think you get a better flow with five people. With just three players, if one person doesn't post, it can slow everything down; with five, you sometimes don't even always notice.

I am currently suffering from apathy towards most online communication. I have been trying to post, but between work and my social life I haven't been very rigorous.

GM_Ironcat, I think it's time to either pull the plug on this one or bring in several new players.

It sounds like Triax isn't really going to be doing much. Not sure if Tabitha wants to continue or if she's still swamped, but there's not really any activity going on.
