The Man. The Myth. The Mask!

You are right on all points. Well summarized. :)

There is one more twist, however. One that may make things a bit... clearer. I hope.

The Man. The Myth. The Mask!

What youall day here will decide much. ;)

Human Arcanist 17 (occultist) Spellbook Init +5 | AC 18 | Touch 13 | Flat-Footed 15 | 138/138 hp | SR 18 | Fort +12 Ref +12 Will +14 |

Yeah,

I'm trying to think through the character's head, since Veritas pointed out his lack of sincerity.

I suppose the question is can we see where he ported to?

The Man. The Myth. The Mask!

Totally. The terrain is pretty flat around here

Silver Crusade

Male Human (Varisian) Summoner (story summoner) 14
Quick stats:
AC 20, T 12, FF 18 (+4 S A); hp 64/115; F +9, R +8, W +10 (+1 vs enchantment; +4 S A); CMD 22; Init +6; Perc -1; S M VII 10/10; Maker's call 2/3; Storykin eidolon 10/10

Sorry, mate. I've been completely wrecked this week. I'm not kidding when I talk about beng flaky. All I've been wanting to do when I get home from work is call my father and cry.

The Man. The Myth. The Mask!

No worries. Real life always takes precedence. I just figured a poke was in order after several days of silence. I know Silas is just now getting back into things too, so no worries.

So... When we finish this, would it be possible to get a rundown of what our options would have been, and the consequences of each? :-)

The Man. The Myth. The Mask!

It's quite simple, really. Hand over the sword and the birth record to depart in peace. Resist, and he attacks to get them. The sword being an empathetic instrument of pure evil makes him rather quick to jump on the "Kill Them!" option, but a peaceful resolution to totally possible. In fact, half of the four runs of this module ended in a fight and half in peace.

The entire encounter is optional and I built him custom just for youall (not that the dice have let him do anything...).

And there you have it. Thanks for playing with me, guys! If you have any feedback on the game and how I ran it (or anything else), I welcome it. :)

I'll be closing this thread in a few days our once everyone has said their fill.

Oh, greatly enjoyed it Choon, and sorry for dragging.

When entering a wizards duel, trying to figure out what you can get away with is at times tricky. Don't want to make half a city explode.
