Go ahead and dot here.
Also please give me:
PFS number (if applicable):
PFS faction (again, if applicable):
Truncated backstory (for use in crafting hooks):
And before we get started I would like for you to tell me:
whether you own a mount
what type of armor/outer clothing your character would wear
If a non-human race, whether you take pains to hide your race
and collectively establish a single file marching order and a double file marching order.
Arileth
Thanks for having me! Question: Arileth isn't a PFS character, and I'm wanting to apply the credit to a totally different character. Do you need that character's PFS number/faction?
ETA:
PFS #: 16188-3
Faction: Dark Archive
- Parents are merchants who are missing, presumably dead
- Grew up in Kyonin, spent last several decades in Lastwall
- No siblings
- Received visions from Calistria
- Taken in by Ysalara, elven cleric of Calistria
- Trained as a cleric and courtesan at a temple of Calistria
Arileth is a Kyonin-born elf whose parents were merchants who were often away on trading expeditions to kingdoms around Lake Encarthan. Although she was never a shy or antisocial child, Arileth's world began to change when she started having visions. Each vision centered around a beautiful elf woman arrayed in flowing yellow silks. After every vision, she always found that others seemed to find her that much more interesting. Finally, word reached her that her parents had gone missing in Lastwall, and the young elf chased after them. After she arrived in Lastwall, she quickly lost her way and found herself living on the streets.
It was then that she was afforded one last vision: in it, she saw her parents being consumed by darkness, and the silk-clad elf appeared to her in the company of giant wasps, which stung Arileth (though the stings did not hurt)--and then she was before a great temple. The gates slowly opened, and she felt compelled to enter. Another scantily-clad elf greeted her at the door, ushering her in as the great temple doors closed behind her.
Shortly thereafter, she made the mistake of attempting to pickpocket a woman at a tavern; she was caught, but the woman turned out to be identical to the second woman in her visions--and what was more, the other elf herself had had that same vision, and recognized Arileth. A cleric of Calistria named Ysalara, she chose to take Arileth in as a novice cleric rather than punish her for her foiled sleight-of-hand.
As for the other questions, Arileth does own a horse. She's an elf, and definitely does not hide it, and most of the time she can be found wearing a leather catsuit dyed black and yellow (leather armor +1). She also has an entertainer's outfit and an explorer's outfit at her disposal. The entertainer's outfit in particular follows the same color scheme as her catsuit--flowing yellow and black silks; the explorer's outfit is primarily brown and grey.

Yes, thanks for clearing that up - I need the number and Faction of the character you want credit for.
It's also helpful if it applies to the character you are using here for purposes of providing a hook.

The faction is helpful, not the number - makes it easy to go like "oh yeah the Dark Archives wants you to do X"
Tae
This character has no pfs#, do you want the pfs# of the character I'll be applying the xp to, or can I wait and choose that later? (Character will be liberty's edge, no matter which I apply it to.)
will either be pfs # 52335-7 or -8.
No mount
Social identity: dressed in rags like a street kid, under the rags is a poor quality, ragged looking suit of studded leather armor (MW, but looks like mismatched bits of armor)
VIgilante identity: wears a fine suit of black studded leather armor.
halfling, sometimes intentionally passes for a human child.. (has the 'childlike' feat)
truncated background: Street kid, lured into joining a gang for safety and survival. Rescued from that life by a vigilante and trained by her.
After a year of being their quite successful bait, he was crying in an alley when the gang picked on the wrong target. The seemingly innocuous lady they targeted turned out to be the renowned vigilante Moonshadow. She bested the gang singlehandedly and found Tae hiding behind a crate in the alley. She dragged him to one of her safehouses and gave him a good talking to... and then listened to him in kind, the first time anyone had actually done that. She gave him a place to stay and as time went on, they developed a kinship of a sort. She took him under her wing, taught him some of her tricks and tactics and how to fight. He in turn helped her, too, accompanying her on her rounds, and helping her root out the rest of his old gang.
Tae eventually moved into one of the gang's old safehouses and has struck out on his own as a vigilante... while he started small, dealing with bullies among young people and children, he's moved up to bigger things since then, though he's still learning his 'craft' and handling mostly local problems - bullies, neighborhood thugs, protection schemes, and the like.
He still maintains ties with Moonshadow and sees her regularly.
dotted gameplay (doesn't show because I deleted it... you can do that, and the game is still dotted and in your feed)

I'll be applying the Chronicle to...
Rachel Sophia.
#137974-10
Silver Crusade
This adventure is a godsend because the crunch of her build (Archer Paladin / Summoner with an celestial Eidolon that is also an archer) doesn't really match the fluff until level 6 and it would take me a long time to build up that much GM credit.
Hali has no mount.
He proudly wears a glistening Dwarven breastplate and, of course, the dented boulder helmet. The rest of his clothing is pretty mundane--browns and grays. He does not hide his dwarven lineage, not his plain wooden holy symbol to Trudd, which is always visible around his neck.
Hali would prefer to be as close to the front of the marching order as possible, but may defer to a more capable combatant.
Hali Silverforge
Regarding plot hooks, Hali is looking for items, magical or mundane, that have religious significance (to anyone, but especially to dwarves and the Dwarven pantheon) OR that belonged to significant dwarves or were used BY dwarves at significant times, etc.
He also really hates orcs.

So glad to be selected for this...thanks! With Mother's Day, I'm pretty swamped and not going to be able to post until Monday, but then I'll be all in.

Sorry, could you let me know what character levels are okay to apply this chronicle to? What range are they leveling to/from?
And before we get started I would like for you to tell me:
whether you own a mount. Thael does not own a mount. He does have funds to purchase one, if necessary.
what type of armor/outer clothing your character would wear. nondescript black robes with silver runes on the sleeves.
If a non-human race, whether you take pains to hide your race. Human. :)
Tae
um... yeah.. I said no mount, but I do have enough money for a riding dog if mount is needed.. otherwise, I'll stick to no mount.

PFS faction (again, if applicable):
Truncated backstory (for use in crafting hooks): Will post tomorrow.
And before we get started I would like for you to tell me:
whether you own a mount no, but I do hang out with a polar bear
what type of armor/outer clothing your character would wear light armor, bright colors of clothing, noisy accessories
If a non-human race, whether you take pains to hide your race not in the slightest
Jag Koszonommonsk

Jag is still getting used to life in the warm lands off the high ice. There's no humpback whales to hunt, and the snow is far less common, but its nice. Sleeping outside isn't a death sentence. And the colors! Ussur's life was forever changed (too early to tell whether for good or ill) when Jag discovered the availability of dye in one of the various towns they've visited. Now, his fur matches Jag's hair- -vivid orange with the original white only showing through in streaks and a couple of missed spots.
While Jag may or may not know about the bleaching, he's certainly fighting it off with a combination of wanderlust and plucky escapes (usually credited to Ussur)- -he still has several scars from when he got a little too close to a wolf with her cubs- -he never seems to resist a city, no matter the size. The smells! The colors! The sounds! The stuff!
tldr: Jag's lived on the High Ice long enough that everything green and warm is brand new, still. This city smelled nice, from a distance, so here he is, oblivious to the absurdity of a bright orange bear.

the first chronicle is tier 3-4 and this will have you gaining 3 levels with a 4th level gainable at your discretion (as in you can turn it down if you want)

So I just realized I made a dumb initial purchase. I spent 1k on a cloak of Resistance but I'm almost definitely taking the Abjuration school next level and that will give me a Resistance bonus, which won't stack with the cloak.

Since he doesn't know if they resist acid, he casts acid splash at the most wounded one.
Acid splash only has a short range (25 feet + 5/ 2 levels) so you probably can't hit them without moving forward too.

Yeah, in hindsight I should have taken the Birthmark trait rather than Worldly.

I will but only because this town has exceptionally few opportunities for commerce.

Buuummmeeerrrr... I just realized that I made a mistake on my sheet. Relic Hunters do not keep the Domain ability. I removed it from my local sheet--the change will be pushed to my Paizo sheet the next time I copy it up. Really bummed about that--I was really digging the theme of that Persistence Inquisition.

Full disclosure:
GenCon is this week, and I'm doing the Tier 1 GM schtick again this year. I leave Tuesday, but will likely not have a huge amount of time to post Monday.
If anyone is also planning on being there, say hello- -I'll be the guy in the purple shirt with the Montreal Expos ballcap.
What it means for this, is that I will likely be reduced to hoping for WiFi over lunch to try and get posts in.
@GM: Feel free to bot me if I'm lagging us down. For botting purposes, I'll put a few macros on my profile, but trying to grapple is usually a reasonably first-order tactic for Jag.

I am actually also attending GenCon albeit as a Tier 2 GM so I am nearly certain this game will be on a virtual pause until next week around this time starting on Wendesday
Hali Silverforge
I will also be at GenCon. Pathfinder in the mornings and Heroscape at night. Not sure yet what I'll be wearing but it will probably be either Star Wars or Super Hero branded.

Just so you know, I will be at Strategicon all weekend (Friday-Monday evening). Probably won't be home til late Monday. I will try to keep up with posts via phone and computer at the hotel, but I will be mega-busy at the con, so no guarantees. Please bot my character as necessary to keep the game flowing... Thanks, and sorry in advance for my absence.

Jag cannot actually use Martial Flexibility to pick up Improved Grapple. There's a DEX prerequisite that I don't get to ignore.

Also, from here, I'm good to go.

I am at the hardest part of leveling up for my spontaneous spellcaster characters: picking spells!
I can pick from Abjuration, Enchantment, and Transmutation spells on the Inquisitor spell list, if anyone wants to make suggestions.
At this point I'm considering Hold Person and either Acute Senses or Perceive Cues. Hold Person could drop something out of the sky if it tries to fly away from us.
I know the flaming weapon one is good, but with spending a standard action to use legacy weapon to get bane, and such a short duration on the spell, it feels hard to imagine being able to use it.

the perils of being in a hamlet...you were distributed a little money, but even if you did have 1050, you wouldn't have anywhere to spend it.
