Everyone feels the sudden feeling of their connection to existence being snuffed as Graki turns off his limiter. It is not a good feeling and those with holy powers feel their connection to the god emperor vanish as well.

The daemon screams in pain as you come close to it attacking. It is unable to dodge due to your sudden interuption of warp disruption.

Graki slice a nice chunk out of the daemons flesh and it howls in anger but still stands.

The demon is in melee with the Magos and Graki so you have the potential for hitting them instead of the demon but yes you can shoot if you want. Believe it's -20 to shoot into melee with friendlies.

Based on what happened at the end of the last scenario, I will shoot at the guy in front of me instead.

No needs to roll I will assume you dispatch of the last 2 easily. They will not surrender and will fight to the death being crazed canibal lunatics.

There is no sign of the daemon. You do not know if it went back to where it came when the leader died or just ran to far away for you to follow with it's great speed.

You are all covered in gore and blood due to the battle and you are all wounded and a bit tired by now.

Graki switch on his limiter once again restraining his untouchableness looking around to his comrades surveying the area.

Sister Revanche looks to where Kort fled, while trying to find a place for the group to rest up for a bit before continuing on. Now that they knew what they were after, there was a little more time on the clock. After all, they had the key in their possession.

Graki will sever the heads of the fallen baddies to ensure their warped corpses do not reanimate

As you look over the bodies Auraxis you notice that the leader is dressed sort of like the masked guy from your first misadventure. Pilgrims of Hate.

Obviously there are multiple factions here in the complex looking for the same things you all are.

"Should we hunt that Daemon? It would seem a dangerous thing to let loose. We have injured it best to finish it off but it will take all of us".

I will attend to Silinus if she requires assistance, "Are you all right?"

The old lady stands tall when being addressed.

"I'm fine." she stares at Graki for a moment with a distasteful look on her face and then looks away.

As she finishes talking you hear a scream coming from the way you entered. It sounded like Kort.

Nostromos appears to be unaffected by what transpired here and doesn't seem to notice the man screaming in the distance.

"It would appear our cowardly ally has met with the Daemon!"

Auraxis hustles out of the room hoping that the man at least slowed the creature down.

Graki slits the throat on the last combatan, stands an looks to sister with an unspoken request to hunt the demon thing. Eagerness bunched in his muscles ready to take flight with but a word

Your group makes it to where the scream came from. What you see is not what you expected. No daemon but a small framed severe looking young woman with bleached white hair drawn back in an elaborate wave of ringlets, wearing unadorned dark crimson mechant attire over an environmental bodyglove holding Kort in the air by one hand. She turns toward your group no expression changing on her face as she continues to hold him off the ground by his neck.

Kort tries to talk but all you hear is gurgling sounds coming from his mouth.

"Miss Book, I presume?"

Sister Revanche shifted the grip on her power sword.

"In the Name of the Holy Inquisition, I give you the only warning a heretic like you deserves. Put him down. Now."

The lady stares at Sister Revanche without any change in expression on her face and slowly turns with Kort still in her grips. She slowly tilts her head to the side and Kort disintegrates into ash.

Auraxis you have seen something similar to this in your last mission when someone got hit by a special weapon.
