Sister Revanche looks at the others.

"We have sacrificed ourselves for the Emperor. No greater fate exists for those of us who are true to the Ordos Inquisitorious. I commend you for your courage and faith, brothers. The Emperor will provide a path."

She looks at the tribesmen.

"But this is not it, I suspect. We are still exploring what could be, and not what is. We still have work to do. Are you all meant to help, or to hinder?"

Success

Sister Revanche leaps at the other post and begins to dig with equal fervor.

1d100 ⇒ 62

Failed.

Sister Revanche quickly searches the bodies for something that they can use to destroy the pillars.

Sister Revanche fires her inferno pistol at one of the pillars holding the gate in place.

"Are you willing to sacrifice yourselves for the good of the Imperium, brothers? If so, we need to release the door. We need to trap Haarlock here."

Sister Revanche marches towards the door, drawing her inferno pistol.

Sister Revanche stops short at Auraxis' suggestion.

"Do you believe it a wise course of action? We can go back and do it. In truth, we may need Haarlock's payment to stop him and if she won't give it to us willingly, then from her cold, dead fingers may be the next best course."

"You seek to waste our time. You know that my immortal soul is not mine to give. It has already been given to the God-Emperor. Your heresy is both foolish and ridiculous."

Sister Revanche turns away from the woman, and begins to march back to the door.

"Come, my brothers. We need not waste any more time here. I doubt she knows, in any event. We will trust in the guidance of the Emperor, and not the ramblings of this Heretic."

"How do we stop him?"

"What choice is that, exactly?"

Sister Revanche stands and dusts herself off.

"Lead the way."

"I'm low on ammo. May I claim the bolt pistol for immediate use? No telling how much further we need to go."

If there are no objections, she will collect the bolt pistol and any remaining magazines before stepping to the mirror door. Once she is sure the others are ready to follow, she will step through.

"I condemn thee, Heretic!"

1d100 ⇒ 80 vs 79

Sisyer Revanche runs at Fihad, not bothering to fire before she reaches point blank range.

I'm confused. if these Stalkers have Side-step, don't they still have to roll individually for each reaction? Otherwise, side-step is hugely powerful.

Sister revanche continues to duel the Stalker that is attacking hir.

"By the Emperor's Holy Light! Attack!"

(How far ar we from Fihad?)

Sister Revanche takes a moment to offer the preacher a small blessing before nodding to Brother Auraxis.

"We should move quickly. Double-time."

She moves towards the bridge at a run.

(Do I get any kind of bonus for wearing my Sororitas gear?)

1d100 ⇒ 100

Nevermind....

"Ecclesiarch! LOOK AT ME!"

Sister Revanche nods before moving up the street, keeping her eyes peeled for those who might take umbrage at their presence.

1d100 ⇒ 1

(I think I made it.)

"That may be a question for another time, Brother Auraxis. Something wicked this way comes."

Sister Revanche looked around. Something was scaring the populace, and she suspected that it had something to do with the coming darkness.

"Perhaps we should take to the rooftops, or get inside ourselves until we know what the threat is."

"Come, Brothers! Through the door! Quickly!"

"Sister Revanche runs for the door before the disk-thing attacks.

"I believe it is a part of the intended message, Brother Auraxis. Are we certain the heads are dead? Nothing can be assumed when xenos or the warp is involved."

Sister Revanche takes up a cover position, asking Graki to do the same while Auraxis investigates the heads.

Sister Revanche charges the creature from the flank, swinging her power sword in wide arcs.

1d100 ⇒ 36 for 1d10 + 9 ⇒ (3) + 9 = 12
1d100 ⇒ 86 for 1d10 + 9 ⇒ (4) + 9 = 13

Sister Revanche moves to the flank and fires her Inferno Pistol into the creature.

1d100 ⇒ 83 for 2d10 + 6 ⇒ (1, 3) + 6 = 10 Pen 12

Sister Revanche looks around, looking for terrain features that she could use to her advantage in an attempt to outflank the xenos war creature.

"We are not ghosts here!"

Init 1d10 + 4 ⇒ (1) + 4 = 5

"Is this the past, or Haarlock's twisted future?"

"A xenos invasion?"

(Is the city an Imperial one? Any bodies?)

"I think we've seen what we are meant to see here. Let's move on."

Sister Revanche moves through the mirrored door.

"I believe we are merely shades in these events because they happened in the past, if the Gilded Widow is to be trusted. I suggest we learn what we can to discover why these events are important to Haarlock."

Sister Revanche moves to follow the fleeing women.

"I agree. Have you any technical or medicae skills that could aid in it's removal? I could hack it out, but that might prove detrimental to any data stored therein."

Sister Revanche takes a moment to search him for useful equipment, taking his Rosette and slipping it into a compartment of her armor for return to the Ordos.

"Betrayer!"

Attack 1: Power Sword 1d100 ⇒ 39 for 1d10 + 9 ⇒ (8) + 9 = 17

Attack 2: Power Sword 1d100 ⇒ 61 for 1d10 + 9 ⇒ (9) + 9 = 18

Attack 3: Inferno Pistol 1d100 ⇒ 91 for 2d10 + 6 ⇒ (3, 1) + 6 = 10

Power Sword hits twice. Inferno Pistol misses.

1d10 + 8 ⇒ (1) + 8 = 9
1d10 + 8 ⇒ (1) + 8 = 9

(Wow.)

(Doesn't that power also allow us to roll two dice and take the best one for Init?)

"Can we stop him if we follow him, or do we have to wait here for his return?"

"What has your Master become? Is he daemonhost now?"
