He laughs heartily as he continues to make his way north.

Filk, you weren't here for introductions, so for your benefit, Gerhard his a large, bear of a man with a leather duster with many pockets full of potions and extracts. Currently, he has a bear's snout full of teeth, but otherwise he looks human. Generally, he is quiet and standoffish, but he will sometimes pipe up with a joke, sarcastic comment, or insightful remark. There is more about him, but that is all that the party has seen so far.

Phurs continues to move forward in stealth mode and at full speed in an attempt to catch what ever jumps Gerhard unawares and attempt to keep up with Filk.

Which after one round appears to be impossible so he gives up!

Begins thinking that blurry state Filk has is great for scouting but no one can out sneak the sneaky thief.

I suppose I will scout in front, unless anyone else objects? How far is our sight? Let's say I go as far as I can and still have everyone see me / be able to still see the group.

As you set away from the dock a mist rapidly permeate the island, and as you go up the northern path it is getting especially strong. Even though it is daytime, your sight does not extend much farther then you could toss a knife. Scrawny moss grows along the canyon walls and the few trees that you've seen are nothing more than gnarls of empty branches.

Ahead the mist part a bit revealing an obelisk surrounded dead trees. Approaching closer the obelisk finally comes into view.

It appears to be made of some strange green stone and there are a number of complex symbols traced into its surface. Around the obelisk's base is a stone lip about a short sword's length wide, slightly raised off the earth. The obelisk extends into the mist, obscuring its terminus.

Off to the left a cleanly cut passage heads further up the mountain lined by green stone columns.

since I shouldn't know this look at the E on the map and im right in the spot between the first and the second bracket of the >E approximately where the arrow >E is pointing at the E since I cant draw it and I don't have access to a (working pic upload page) that's the best I can explain it!

Phurs finally decides to offer help if its needed and rummages thru his rucksack for AHHA THERE IT IS, he pulls out a small pouch and opens it up and finds the potion marked C.

Moving stealthfully as to not give himself away he approaches Wolf and doesn't break concealment till he gets near enough to whisper "Sir Wolf if that things giving you a problem I have something that might help"

He offers a small potion vial with the letter C written across the front in common and elvish. "The preist I bought that from said it can make it so you can read or speak any language" Phurs states.
