When there are conversations between vamps 2 or more generations more powerful than you going on...
Kinda hard to interject.
And, maybe I'm dense... But, they haven't said anything that indicates anything yet (in the current situation).
Nothing that clarifies, it's just more convoluted and treacherous. So... Silence is in order.

With only two more PC's to complete this night, I will be awarding XP now.
2 more XP for each of you, this is the first XP Adria has earned :-)
As I will have little time to get to new updates this week, I will update the game on Saturday March 5th. IN the meantime, I will finalize the characters of Adria and Michael Santo now that they are Vampires.
The rest of the Conclave nights will go a bit quicker than the first night :-)
How is everyone enjoying the Campaign thus far?

Storyteller Shadow |

In liking it very much, just in a sequence where is best to observe.
Also, not sure how combat will work. Seems a bad choice.
Agreed, some of these scenes are more for you to gain knowledge of the plot or the past which effects the plot.
Combat is best to fall back on as a last resort to be sure.

Thus far I have greatly enjoyed the campaign. Thank you for continuing to run it.
I think one of the things that I enjoy most is how the nature of PbP really lends itself to keeping scenes separate, yet keeping all of the characters engaged in a way that can be difficult sitting around the table.

Agree 100%.
It has been over 4 years now and I think the game is still going strong despite some Player comings and goings.
Thank you for continuing to play in it! I need to send you a PM Lorenzo regarding early evening lessons, will probably get that out to you today.

I am the story teller for my local group and ran two seperate campaigns for five years each. I love this game and although a late addition hope I am adding in well.
I think your exchange with Andrew was great during a pretty tense moment so I would say a big yes.
What era did you run for the locals?

Onfroi |

I ran dark ages transylvania chronicles through the giovanni chronicles to present day. I had three ancient ventrue brothers one named Vespus, Marlenus, and Bellvue. Marlenus was a political roman and the group met him several times and made a deal to work for him and during the work it looked like they would fail and he had a lair with a pair of really old mastiff dogs and he looked up through his lashes and crushed one of their heads and told the group "you are my lead dogs now, prey you do better..."

Nice, I also ran the Transylvania Chronicles and Giovanni Chronicles II and III. I was not a fan of Giovanni Chronicles IV.
I started the campaign in 1190 and ran it through 2001. It ran for about 5 1/2 years. From this game, Xing played in a bit of it while Michele played through 95% of it.
I started another Vampire game, the one which this Chronicle is based on, in 1065. Much of the fallout in this Chronicle stems from those games. Xing and Michele played in those with Michael Santo having come a bit late to those sessions.
The plan is for this game to jump through each Century with snapshots of time through modern day. This particular incarnation is taking a bot longer than I thought it would but it will set up much of what takes place in the coming centuries.

Ranerius Bernerius |

I have, if my math is right, 4 exp total. Not sure how to spend it. The power gamer in me says "DISCIPLINES" the more practical less glory seeking side says things like abilities might make more sense. :)
And Onfroi, I think your character is quite entertaining, and he's not alone. Even when I'm not up, I often find some pretty cool bits to read for my enjoyment.
Storyteller Shadow, since you ask, I am indeed enjoying (See above). I have my doubts about how effective Ranerius is in his political pursuits, but then the character IS, for all intents and purposes, a small fish in a rather large shark infested sea. ;) And it's been interesting to see how the roleplaying so far has helped shape and fill him out in ways I didn't see coming.
I'm kind of glad combat doesn't seem to be the chief activity, because I'm pretty sure most of the PCs and ALL of the Elders could stake and bake my Innkeeper before he could say "Now my friends, let's be reasona....urk!" ;)

Storyteller Shadow |

It may be more than 4 XP for the full night, anyone have a different count?
Adria will have 2 as she just joined us.
Effective thus far I would say but there are still 6 nights to go :-)
There will be combat at some point just not yet so spend that XP wisely!

Vitaliano da Riva |

Hmmm...what's it cost for politics 1 to 2?
This has been quite fun thus far and it'll be rather strange to see the jumps. I am quite happy to do a little here and there and see how Vitaliano devolves into madness over time. So far there hasn't been too many stressors to really push myself to spring his issues into action.
Don't worry Ranerius, while Vitaliano may be in his element so to speak...it can all really turn capside for him in a heartbeat. And you won't be the only one with issues in combat...~shudder~ Uncivilized cretins

Sorry gents long weekend with the baby and I still was feeling under the weather.
Will have updates ready either Tuesday or Wednesday night.

Storyteller Shadow |

At the risk of being the weakest vamp in the game, I'll continue character development.
2 pts, Subterfuge 2
You are a bunch of Neonates, you are all weak :-)

Storyteller Shadow |

Work has been rough having missed all of last week being sick. I have a short day on Friday. I will pick things up for everyone that day. Sorry for the delay.

Storyteller Shadow |

Nice job moving things along Onfroi and Ranerius, I will update both of you tomorrow.

Storyteller Shadow |

I was waiting on the Assamite player or NPC's lol
Yep my bad there last week was a b+#!+. Will post further updates tomorrow.

Storyteller Shadow |

Updates tomorrow. Holy shit did I get behind in a number of my games, damn busy work schedule.

Storyteller Shadow |

Did I miss my cue (very possible)?
Is Alessandro with Alyssa or or looking for M & M?
Venice by Night – Tuesday March 25, 1309
Alessandro Khadaji – Khadaji Household
You wake and Alyssa is not in your arms she is standing in the window looking out into the sea.
”You are awake my Love? Good. I have considered what you said last night, you must look for the woman, I will find the Nosferatu for you. Then we shall meet back here and head to tonight’s Conclave. Is this acceptable to you?”

Storyteller Shadow |

There are no rules on how long it should take to learn a Discipline. Therefore I think I will create a simple system for this. Will work on it I/C with Lorenzo and finalize it when I have some time.
