The lamia matriarch is badly damaged by the flames but it is (incredibly) Tariq's bow that drives an arrow shaft through her throat, driving her into the ground.

She screams in frustration and then stares evilly at you.

Now that the Pharaoh has found a vessel and soon he will fly through the skies again! My death is as nothing to the rebirth of his empire!

Her mask bursts into flame which rapidly cover her body, consuming her form as she laughs maniacally.

You shift through her ashes and find she carries a +1 cruel longspear, a locust cuirass (details below), masterwork thieves' tools and a gold funerary mask that is frighteningly cold to the touch worth 100 gp.

You probably don't remember the tent since this boss combat has taken too long BUT it contains casks of dates, smoked snake meat, waterskins, copper pots, and piles of cushions between which you find boots of elvenkind, a silver kettle worth 200 gp, two bottles of luxuriant perfume worth 100 gp each, and a magnificent silver-and-gold teacup inlaid with obsidians worth 300 gp. In addition, the tent contains three large chests taken from Chisisek’s tomb crammed with coinage from Ancient Osirion, totaling 943 pp, 2,806 gp, 4,012 sp, and 6,308 cp.

After you murder the lamia you find yourselves in a plain chamber, probably used to store grave goods once upon a time. The corridor the lamia was in slopes sharply down to the west.

The overlapping leather plates of this +2 lamellar cuirass (Pathfinder RPG Ultimate Equipment 12) oddly feel more like insect chitin than the supple leather they are crafted from. This armor’s lightweight construction gives it a maximum Dexterity bonus of +6.

The wearer of a locust cuirass can take 10 on Acrobatics checks to jump even if distracted or in danger. Once per day as an immediate action, the wearer can summon a swarm of locusts that surround her and support her weight during a fall, causing him to drift slowly down to the ground, similar to feather fall. While falling, the wearer can move up to 5 feet in any horizontal direction for every 1 foot she falls, at a speed of 60 feet per round. The wearer takes no damage upon landing. The effect ends as soon as the wearer touches the ground or after 6 rounds, whichever comes first. If the effect expires while the wearer is still in the air, he falls the remaining distance as normal.

So the blessings are likely done, but other buffs like mirror images will last a bit longer. Do we want to press forward or rest. Dwalindor is about 1/2 down, and has a few rounds of rage left. But will be much less effective after that runs out. Figure we lost at least a minute since combat ended...just while de-raging.

You move further down and come to two rooms - one to the south (N14) is an unadorned chamber that comes contains a variety of grave goods buried with the deceased for use in the afterlife, including furniture, tools, urns of seeds, and dozens of scrolls with detailed architectural plans for tombs and other structures. None of the scrolls contain any information on either Chisisek’s tomb or Hakotep’s pyramid.

You do find a set of master stonemasonry tools and three flasks of unguent of timelessness

To the north (N15) you come to what appears to be a burial chamber. Hieroglyphs depicting the life of a master craftsman decorate the walls of this chamber. A large stone sarcophagus fills the center of the room, but its lid lies on the floor next to it, and the cavity inside is empty.

The hieroglyphs on the walls detail the public life and works of the acclaimed architect and master tomb builder Chisisek, the greatest of his generation. The hieroglyphs make no mention of the final years of Chisisek’s life, however, with no references to the construction of Hakotep’s tomb or of Chisisek’s work with Shory technology.

Just at the buzzer Dwalindor!

Dwalindor opens a secret door in the back, uncovering a new room. This chamber is crammed with a variety of objects and grave goods, a celebration in carvings, crafts, and paintings and an homage to the master architect buried in this tomb.

Inside you find an effigy of Anubis; eyes of the eagle; a rod of metal and mineral detection; a scarab of mummy defense (see page 59); a [i]scroll of stone to flesh; a wand of stone shape (43 charges); a platinum comb worth 300 gp; a crocodile mask with obsidian eyes worth 250 gp; a magnificent gold funerary mask set with jade worth 3,500 gp; a magnificent model of a galley crewed by ivory, jade, and onyx figurines worth 500 gp in total; a gold shepherd’s staff worth 790 gp; three mummified cats; a collection of wax-sealed urns containing human ashes; and an assortment of coins totaling 109 pp, 2,037 gp, 4,789 sp, and 6,158 cp.

The scrolls and hieroglyphs are the true treasure. They describe in further detail the life of Chisisek and describe Chisisek’s greatest achievement: the design and construction of a flying pyramid tomb for the Sky Pharaoh Hakotep I, utilizing Shory technology.

In Hakotep’s later years, considerable resources were consumed constructing a vast system of earthworks that claimed the lives of thousands of slaves and incorporated bound elementals to create a mighty weapon that could be used against the Shory. Chisisek contributed his expertise to this grand design, and took some pride in the completion of this great work.

They don't however give you enough information to find Hakotep's tomb - where the dread pharaoh and your friend Thorrpe are undoubtedly headed.

In all fairness there was some combat left but in the interests of time I'm skipping it.

Tetsurah, now in a human form to fit through the tomb, approaches you in the chamber.

Osiris's bones! The monsters have already stolen Chisisek's body. This tomb is now defiled. Though it pains me, you may take the goods from Chisisek as all that is left now is to recover his body - the goods themselves will do him no good in the Deep Kingdom now that he has been stolen from his rightful resting place.

She seems ready to spit but refrains only from respect for the dead architect and the once holy site you now occupy.

But I have good news - I found this on one of the cultists...

She holds out a worn papyrus scroll that has a crude map on it - leading you farther north, through the mountains deeper into the Parched Dunes.
