Munkustrap |

Munkustrap just pouts as the dryad ignores both his compliment and his query.
Munkustrap's eyes light up. "I had two wishes, one for a way off the island, and another for a beautiful woman. It seems that the latter has come true, now how about the former.
"Where would we find this light house? What else can you tell us about the island's perils other than the cannibals?"

DM RichD |

Aycenia gives both Nothus and Ndombe a look of pity. I cannot imagine not speaking with trees! They always have so much to say!
She then sees the pouting Munk, Oh I am so sorry! I have not had many visitors of a pure heart, I am forgetting my manners! She reaches up and scratches Munk behind the ears never thinking to ask for permission. You are very handsome and I have not met one of your kind before. What tribe do you belong to? Can you speak with trees?
She then draws a rough-very rough map of the island (she is basing it off of what the trees told her after all). The light house is here. She points to area V on the real map. But those crazy people who eat each other live there. She says indignantly.

Munkustrap |

Maybe she's just not that into you?
Inconceivable. I just figured the GM needed a reboot. :)

Munkustrap allows the pretty dryad to invade his personal space and touch him condescendingly. "Thank you my lady ... for the pet. Though I resemble feral felines that I am sure rat here, I am called a catfolk. Uncommon to say the least in Golarion. As for what tribe I belong to .. it is the .. ah .. Deep Pockets tribe." the man stumbles. "And alas, I cannot speak with trees. Mayhaps you can teach me one day."
She then draws a rough-very rough map of the island (she is basing it off of what the trees told her after all). The light house is here. She points to area V on the real map. But those crazy people who eat each other live there. She says indignantly.
Munskustrap catches his breath as the dryad points out the lighthouse. Even the terrible news that the cannibals call that place home cannot dampen the man's spirits.
Addressing the dryad once again, "You have been a true friend, and we are most grateful for your wise counsel. What can we do to repay your kindness?"
Once they eventually depart, Munkustrap turns to his friends. "We have all become stranded here for one reason or another, and our purpose for traveling to a destination other than this may be as diverse as we are." he looks at his friend Rii-Chi "But this is our chance. I say we return to camp, rest up, and move pour camp to a more southerly location, closer to this Lighthouse. We should venture forth in an exploratory manner, maybe we could even parley with these cannibals. They are probably not the first nor the last to uphold some silly tradition because its the way we have always done thing. Before we discuss morality, I know that cannibalism doesn't equate with tradition ... let's just go with it.
"Once we have secured the lighthouse though diplomacy or force, we concentrate all our efforts into signalling to any nearby vessel and we prepare to both bribe them for our passage off this island, and have all we intend to take with us ready to immediately leave."
Munkustrap cannot contain his stream of consciousness as he envisions his rescue.

DM RichD |

"Would it be safe for us to rest here, my lady?"
Yes, My tree will let us know of any danger.
Inconceivable. I just figured the GM needed a reboot. :)
The GM needs a reboot most days!
"Thank you my lady ... for the pet. Though I resemble feral felines that I am sure rat here, I am called a catfolk. Uncommon to say the least in Golarion. I have never met one from your Deep Pocket tribe! Are they all as handsome as you? I would love to teach you to speak with trees! (She does not realize it is an innate ability or spell).
"You have been a true friend, and we are most grateful for your wise counsel. What can we do to repay your kindness?"
Be good to the trees and plants is all I ask.
So are you resting here or back at camp? Are you gonna feed the tiger?

Neltji |

Neltji lets the others talk for the most part but adds her piece at the very end to ask a question. Escuse me but would it be possible for us to move our camp closer to your tree here? We would not want to disturb you of course but your tree offers such excellent shade and is so quiet and serene here. I understand of course if you want to remain in peace and quiet but perhaps you would consider it for a week or so...just so we can search the southwest part of the island where this lighthouse is so we can try and get off this island? Like Munk she is excited to get off the island causing her to run her sentences together in her haste.
To Munk she adds though, I am not so certain I want to talk to cannibals. It might make more sense to just remove them and protect ourselves and those at the camp at the same time.

Munkustrap |

Not for the last time, Munkustrap thanks whatever god watches over him for Neltji . "Wise words Neltji . Will I will always perfer the easy way, it seems likely that we will need to overwhelm these cannibals ."
"But, we, umm, have an arrangement with the tigress that needs to be honored first, right?"
"Yeah, sure. Feel free to play with the tiger as much as you want. I'll send a ship to you once I reach civilization. I'll make sure they have a tiger sized litter box." the catfolk cannot help his less than chivalrous response.
I have never met one from your Deep Pocket tribe! Are they all as handsome as you? I would love to teach you to speak with trees!
"Few if any, are as handsome as me, my lady. I shall return when I can ... for tree speaking lessons of course. "
"Like Neltji suggested, let us rest here, feed the cat in the morning, and move camp here. Then we can start our sorties into the cannibal camp. We are going to need everything we can muster I fear to overthrow those devil-worshipers."

Rii-Chi |

"I like pretty-tree-lady." Rii-Chi adds from above. He hasn't actually come down from the tree and seems entirely happy where he is, enjoying the breeze on his fur and a good view. "We should stay here!"
He comes down reluctantly to help move the camp, but returns to the branches at the first opportunity and encourages Munk to join him.

Nothus Adalis |

Nothus says, "Agreed, Ndobe. Priorities, and we must honour our deal.... and then we can deliver on this new one... though, as I said, mine was a more... militant... order. I'm rather looking forward to breaking a few skulls... if only to get my frustration out."

DM RichD |

Aycenia smiles at Neltji, Of course little one. I would love to have people to talk to! She absent-mindedly tussles Neltji's hair.
She then turns her smile to Munk. Tree-speaking lessons it is!
@Rii-Chi: You swear it is because of the wind, but sometimes you feel that the branches are almost caressing you.
It will take about two days to move the camp. Aycenia is glad to meet your fellow castaways except for Gelik who promptly remarks how much firewood they can get by chopping down the tree!
This will also give you time for completing feeding the tiger.
After she kills and feeds on the deer that you provided for her, she spends a few minutes stretching and liking her fur before uttering a few growls to let you know it is time to talk.

Neltji |

Neltji leaves the task of talking to the tiger in the hands of the survival experts while she spend time with Aycenia and the transition of the fellow castaways.
As Gelik talks about cutting the tree down she gives him a glare, Don't you dare talk like that around here. We are her guests and should be respectful of her and her area. for that matter I would refrain from cutting down any tree or limb unless you get express permission from her first. This is her home first and foremost and don't you forget that!
You have done nothing but complain since we arrived here. Yes, we are all wishing we were off this island but at least others are pitching in trying to help. Why are you any different that we should cater to your whines when we are trying our best to make things better around here?[/b]

Munkustrap |

Ok folks, what questions am I asking?
Besides the obvious of 'Do you know a way off the island'? .... how about 'Do you want to kill some two-legs that each each other?

Nothus Adalis |

Nothus shrugs, "I'm of half a mind to ask him to eat you at this point, Gelik. If you object to how we're handling things, feel free to explore. I'm sure the cannibals will find you tasty if the tigers don't."

Neltji |

Unless it is able to tell us the strength of the cannibals or their tactics I am open to whatever.
She bows before him as he calls her majesty. Careful Gelik or this majesty just might try to vote your a$$ out of this group and make you fend for yourself.

Rii-Chi |

Rii-Chi glowers at Gellik from the safe embrace of the tree, where he has taken up residence. But otherwise stays out of the conversations about the tiger. He has a tree instead!

Ndombe |

Questions for the tigress...
"Have you seen a small mountain cat that might have washed ashore? It is a companion to my friend here."
"Do you know of any way for us to get safely off this island?"
"We are likely going to be assaulting the cannibals on this island, would you like to accompany us? You can eat the dead ones when we are done."

DM RichD |

The tigress purrs, I have not seen a small mountain cat, but I can be on the lookout for it-as long as it does not interrupt my hunting! I have never thought of leaving the island, so I have never looked for a way off. As for your last question, I do not eat meat that is already dead. You could tie a few of those cannibals up and I can feast on them after I kill them. The tigress says as she rolls around on the ground contently.

Munkustrap |

Now that the discussion with the tiger has ended, Munkustrap gets back to the business of getting off the island.
"Camp looks great. You all did admirably well. We ..." and Munkustrap motions to all his friends and then points up to Rii-Chi in the tree. "shall start making preparations for war on these devil worshiping cannibals. Once we have secured the area, we shall move camp again to the Lighthouse.
"Any of you care to join us? Scout around? Sacrifice yourself for the greater good?" the last comment is directed squarely at Gelick.
So I was looking at the SS map. Are we around J and we need to head SW towards V? Anyway - ready to move towards the cannibals and start to fight our way to the lighthouse.

DM RichD |

@Munk: You are at U on the map.
@Ndombe:
Nothing more for the tiger? Are you letting the spell end and have her go her own way?
Gelik sticks his tongue out at Munk. I guess it is either the cannibals or you girlfriend the tiger!
Anything anyone else wants to do/prep before hitting the cannibals?

Neltji |

Neltji looks at Ndombe with exasperation, They are cannibals, what other proof do you need of them being hostile?
With Gelik Neltji waves her hand at the tiger and tells the others, Let the tiger have some fresh meat. I am tired of him.
Other than that Neltji takes time to refresh herself at the druid's tree and get a good night's sleep and commune time with Anthony before preparing in the morning to head out.

Nothus Adalis |

Nothus says, "I imagine we could grab a few -- but we need to be careful. Do it too often, and the whole camp will be alert. Might be better to strike at the camp when they're unawares."

Munkustrap |

Munkustrap continues to pull daggers form all over his body, thumbing the bade to make sure that they have retained their edge in the many altercations he had on this cursed island. Then he turns the bade over and over looking for rust spots, he knew how the salty air degraded metal faster than a toddler on feast day. Comfortable that he has all the resources he needed, he turns to the group.
"Friends, your minds are in the right place. It is good to formulate a plan but as we all know No battle plan survives contact with the enemy.
"Let us explore, as stealthy as possible, to ascertain our enemies strength, technological level, and overall demeanor. If we are able to parley with these devil-worshiping canibals." he nods to Neltji agreeing with her assessment, "all the better, but if not, depending on their numbers, strike and run tactics would be wise. Rii-Chi can take to the tress to aid us in scouting.
"Should it come to a fight, then yes Rubani, we shall hit them outside first. Best not to plan for a full frontal assault into the enemy village on our first foray, am I right friends?"
Munkustrap is so excited at the prospect of the lighthouse that not even Gelick could get him down.
Can Jask or any other NPC make any healing potions? Other than that I am ready!

Rii-Chi |

"I can go first!" Rii-Chi says happily. "Maybe I make them come to us too! Shoot them in butt! Then they come to find us." He adds with a grin.
Stealth: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (19) + 9 = 28

Rii-Chi |

A while back. He'll have healed naturally by now. :)

Rii-Chi |

Rii-Chi has gone scouting, if you want to join him, feel free. :D
