Sark elbows Bullets in the side saying "See what happens when you DONT shoot pretty ladies, happy endings all around, try to remember that in the future." He looks over to the grinning kid thinking this is one of those rare times when he sounds wise beyond his year then it is gone when he says "Lets go get a milk at the bar!" And skips off through the portal but not before shout back at the couple "Hope you have many pretty babies!"

Dammit, I was totally digging her vibe... Mr. Chips shrugs at George.
Yeah, yeah. Enough from you. George and Mr. Chips meander back to the Flaxseed Lodge. George turns to Mr. Chips. Word is Ace left behind his drink trolley. Let's see if we can't have some fun with that...

Later, back at the Grand Lodge...
"So you gave her the Beacon, sold Skelg the Ripper into marriage, and then let them sail off into the distance!?" Adril Hestram is not pleased, the words coming through biting teeth. "Skelg promised to reward the Society with relics recovered on his travels. I am quite sure I mentioned this. Did it not occur to you that a magical lantern capable of freezing a man from within, covering an entire ship in ice, and creating giant portals for traveling, might be just what I was talking about? Did you at least examine the lantern and take some notes? No?! Argh!! Get out!"
1xp, 1pp. I'll try to get Chronicles out later tonight or tomorrow.
Primary mission - save Skelg (success).
Secondary mission - recover the Beacon of the North for the Pathfinder Society (failure).
This was tricky because Natalya is hard to negotiate with even without bullets flying at her.

hey at least i didnt die this time so i am happy with result
Sark shurgs and says "But we created a happy marriage that we may be able to call favor on from a powerful ally!" Sark quickly leaves before something is thrown at him and meets the others outside saying "Grezzz here was more than a little grumpy, some of these captain need to lighten up more and get out more! Lets get to the pub!"

Ugly points a meaty finger at the VC's logic, silently admonishing the mission, SEE?!

Well, at least everyone survived this one. I wasn't looking forward to sticking Maximo with a new haunt or two.
It didn't help that Vanyel was the closest thing to a face character in the party.
Also, was negotiating with Natalya the only way to lift the curse on Skelg?

DM Rah |

You might have figured it out without Natalya, but fighting her would have been challenging since she was a 7th level sorceress already buffed for combat.
The biggest problem was that nobody except for Vanyel really made an effort at diplomacy. Had Ugly not attempted to murder her, or had others made some aid another checks for diplomacy, she would have given up the Beacon and settled for Skelg and going home.

yea well Sark just goes on adventures cause he is bored, doesnt really pay attention to the mission talks anyway :) Sark DID try but pretty women make him nervous :)
