I almost feel bad for zinging Fearless (and Halflings) in the Carrion Crown Boards. Special thanks again to Cats for the set up.

Thanks for sharing that Fearless! That show has so much awesome Cthulhu-like material and flavor. It was a strong inspiration in the beginning of this campaign and its good to be reminded of it.
On another note: I’m in the middle of a road trip from KC to Atlanta to work on a snow there for the next month. Posting might be slim for a couple days while my hands are tied to the steering wheel.

A little note drop -- GREAT Roleplaying all. Fearless - you have been a powerhouse recently.
I think everyone handled the "inner party conflict" and tension really well. The kind of events that happened to Fearless could have easily been glossed over by lesser roleplayers, but Fearless took the challenge head on.
I could easily have seen Fearless attacking BB or at least rallying the others to take sides. That scenario could have gone one of 5 or more different ways and I kept smiling as I was challenged by the complexity of the interpersonal relationships.
Well, 'nuf said. Keep up the good stuff all.

Sad day in the Brother Butterfly World. King Kong Bundy has passed.
I have a mental picture of BB as a blend of KKB and Iron Sheik (mostly for the mustache). I may need help with suggestions on another actor to play Jasper/Brother Butterfly in the upcoming Strange Aeons production being greenlite by Netflix.

Out of character. I don't want to keep Mariner out of PBP by going on without him. If he has passed, then it's better for us to go to the ship and roleplay that. If he's still alive, but scarred, then we need to try and take a reasonable step to get him back in and posting.
Otherwise, Brother is okay with checking this place out some more so we don't have to come back here again. I just think that keeps Mariner on the sidelines for......at least a week of PBP time?

+1 to GM's comments about Fearless. Tremendous roleplaying.
As for Desna spells:
Domain #1: Freedom of movement on Mariner.. this will prevent him from being gobbled up. 70 minutes.
2nd lvl- #2: Bears Endurance - 7 minutes - one on BB and on on Mariner.
2nd lvl -#3: Bulls strength - 7 minutes
2nd lvl and domain -#4: Aid on One on Mariner and one on BB. 7 minutes
3rd lvl -#5: Prayer -- start of combat. +1 to hit. -1 to hit and damage for enemies.
4th lvl #6: Magic Weapon greater. Does this add a +1 to existing magic weapons like Mariner's sword?
if not,
I could use it on Cat's arrows. Would that give an added bonus to his magical bow?
2nd lvl #7: Shield other to take half of Mariner's damage for a short time.
1st Lvl -#8 Shield of Faith - +3 to AC- deflection bonus.

Magical vestment +1 to regular armor.. 3rd level spell
Monster summoning 3 - third level. to absorb an attack?
Basically once the fight starts though, I think I'm just channeling to heal.

Deathward only protects against negative levels. That thing was not causing death effects. It was just dealing death like damage. The spell doesn't help for that. I also may need the 4th level for a turbo heal on you, at the least for Blessing of Fervor so we can get an extra attack or spell or running away ability.
@ Cats. If you see the map, we got very few places to go. Along the side corridor is about it. There's more to this place, we just have a mega-monster to try and avoid.

Notes:
1. Greater magic weapon doesn’t stack with existing bonuses - use whichever bonus is higher. This applies the same to bow and arrows (a +1 bow and +1 arrow act as a +1 weapon, not +2)
2. Cats arrows hit the thing but didn’t seem to damage it much at all.
3. The Dreamlands is a dangerous place. You can jump back in or wait, but a couple levels may not have made a difference in that fight. The Mariner went down hard.

What is funny is how my 11 year old got one of his NPC's CRUSHED in the Ghost Tower of Inverness. It's his first "NPC" death, and he's saying a lot of the same things you guys are. He wants to leave the whole module and go back to town (not exactly possible the way the module is set up) and come back with like extra character levels or super henchmen.
I'm trying to figure out a way to subtly reinforce his confidence , but also learn from his mistakes and try to have better teamwork to protect each other. I tell him that you get knocked down, but you try to get back up again.
I'd hate to have my son abandon a module.

Did you catch the part where Rah said Cats' arrows were useless? Ineffective? Gunna need a smite for this bad boy...or have to go, *gulp* into melee, and Cats isn't built to handle something like this.

@cats = I did catch that part. I don't want to go after the thing again, I want to avoid it and explore the other areas.
I'm taking the backseat as we roleplay a bit more. The dreamlands are are probably a few more pages away.
