DM Papa.DRB |

Well, home phone and internet are back. It has been intermittently failing for a week, and finally a hard fail Sunday afternoon and was out till late Monday afternoon, when Verizon replaced the exterior box on the house. Up for an hour when there was a local area failure and we lost home phone and internet again till about thirty minutes ago. sigh. I'll have a post later this evening, unless it goes out again...

Hailina |

I'll be out of town until Monday but will attempt to post as much as possible from the road.

I hope everyone had a Merry Christmas. We did, visited with both kids and both grandkids.
The only problem was, yesterday (Sunday), the youngest (6 years old) of my sons four dogs crossed the Rainbow Bridge in his sleep. Everyone is very broken up over it. Mercer was the "big galoot" of the pack, and my dog, Amarillo, best friend and playmate.

Will have a post in an hour or so moving the game forward.

In what way did the track stop (simple vanish, or did the people making them stop for a moment then just not make anymore tracks)? What about the other tracks? Is this a case of there being an invisible line, on one side tracks visible while on the other side there are no tracks of any sort?

Cool. Im just waiting for the story line to continue enough so i can do something. Thats why i havnt posted in a while.

Sorry for my absence. Things have been crazy around here. I've moved and gotten a new job that has me with almost no free time during the week. 10 hour days paired with over an hour of commute time each way. Ick.
Anyways, as it stands, I'm just not able to keep posting in the forums any more. Really sorry about this. Good luck with the campaign!

No problem, life happens. If you could please leave the alias the way it is for a few months till this test ends, so I can refer to it as things happen, I would appreciate that.
I will remove you from the characters / players list so this does not show up in your campaigns tab any more.

I have come to the realization that a pure Illusionist is a bad fit for this module. As such, I'm going to retire so as to not become the party Load. Happy gaming, everyone.

Silva Val'Hilzanvier |

Why is everyone so worried about "party loads" and stuff? We are here to have fun, not to get a perfect score for efficiency.
Never once have I seen any character, no matter how weak or unfitting, be an unfun liability.
In fact, every liability I have ever seen at the table was a bad player so obsessed with minmaxing and perfecting party tactics that they interfered with everyone else, destroying their fun.

Ok, that makes three of six have dropped / stopped posting, so I am calling the game over.
I have what I needed as far as SoP is concerned. My idea of running an SoP only game is not feasible, as the warrior and skill monkey are just not viable.
If / When I start up the campaign that I was looking to running using SoP (Legendary Planet), I will give the three remaining folks here a leg up on submissions.
Thank you all for your interest.

ps. Marking this campaign as Inactive so it no longer shows up in your campaign list

Sad is right. I like my Silva Sez duo.
Thanks for game, it was interesting.
I am curious though, why did you make the shadow plane like that? Is there some other source out there describing it like this, or did you just make it like that on your own?

Jon Brazier Enterprises, which is a 3PP here on these boards was producing this setting via Kickstarter. He got this adventure out for RPG Gameday back in 2011(?), a bestiary and another book (my stuff is packed away right now). He was working on a small campaign gazetteer for the setting before it fell thru and he returned the money of us that had pledged at that level.
I had really wanted to write my own 1-20 level adventure for the setting but was missing too much information for my limited brain to fill in so I wanted to at least use this mini adventure as a test.
After defeating the undead creature you would find a temple to a good deity that was desecrated and being used by an evil cleric and lots of zombies. Arriving in the nick of time (don't the pc always arrive in the nick of time!) you would have had the opportunity to save the woman and her children and make your way back to the portal and back to the material realm.

Thanks for running the game even if it didn't last.
I disagree that a Warrior from just the Spheres book isn't viable.
Mageknight can be very viable.
I do agree that a skills build is nearly impossible though. I managed o do it but had to be very convoluted to do it.
For what it's worth I think you'd be fine with allowing Spheres + Core Classes using their Sphere Archetypes. That's what I'm doing in a home game right now.
