Welcome to Rise of the Runelords! I am going to make the first post in the Gameplay thread imminently, so please go ahead and respond whenever you are ready.
The posting expectation that I would like for us to have is to try to make at least one substantial post every weekday, although more is totally fine, as well as posting on the weekend. If you need to miss a day or even a week, then that is totally fine. We can just decide to have you botted or put the game on hold. I should mention that I am planning on being away on vacation without internet for two weeks this summer, for a week starting this next Friday, and then again in mid August.
A quick note is that I would love to see short stat blocks such as the example one that I am using in your profile's classes/levels section for easy reference.

I was little bit surprised as well! I do bet that Cordwin is quite an experience information gatherer already, so he knows what he is about.

Regarding the question on the gameplay thread, if the expectation is we will be in town for "weeks" than that seems much more manageable than the nickel and coppering that would be required otherwise.

Feel free to review a few of my posts for my oracle Durielle Omenstar who has the wasting curse. I reference her "illness" constantly, and if I'm overdoing it, no one has said a thing to me. The oracle's curse is meant to be just as much of an RP mechanic as it is a counter balance for the class' abilities. So I say have at it! :D

I suppose that I should mention again that I will be without internet on vacation starting this Saturday until maybe the 3rd of August, so coming up very soon! I think that we will wrap the evening and get into the beginning of the festival before our week-long break. Super pumped to keep on playing with all of you fine people!

I don't know what I'm going to do at work this week! The Reaper Bones kickstarter is over, and this game is on a temporary hiatus. You don't expect me to actually, you know, work?!?! Do you?!
I'm GM'ing 2 PBP's-a Council of Thieves one that I started in the Spring, and a GiantSlayer one I started in June. Both groups are still in the first book.
I'm running a rather unorthodox Kingmaker for some trusted friends PbP style. No in-person games currently, mostly due to local games wanting to run on Friday nights or Saturday or Sunday. Weekends belong to the wife and friends, so hard to promise consistency on those days.
Here's a link to my game in case anyone's interested in a little reading: KingPinMaker. The timeline is technically book 0 as I am running a bit of a pre-adventure in Restov prior to the acquisition of the actual charters and departure to the Greenbelt area. My Greenbelt will probably include a lot more fun stuff than the books will have in them.
Other than that, I'm playing in two other PbPs. One is a Kingmaker that is much further along than the one I'm running, and the other is a semi-converted to 3.P Legacy of Fire run by a friend.
I have a daydream of running every Adventure Path simultaneously/chronologically someday (probably if I ever lose my job or become independently wealthy). Basically, treating each situation as if they are occurring at the same time in their respective locations. However, Shattered Star and Reign of Winter would begin after most things had ended as appropriate, but also having a Kingmaker running in the background. Since that one would require some delay, I would probably have those players in some of the other campaigns to keep their interest up and we would post in Kingmaker as time progressed naturally. The point of all this would be to have each of the other campaigns have an impact on the overall Golarion world that could change some things in the other games.
Super ambitious? Yeah, definitely. Chances are I'll never get the chance to do it, but I think it would be pretty neat to attempt...if I didn't have to work, lol.
No other games at the moment. I GM'd emerald spire for a group of friends a few months back, but that fell apart due to schedules, etc. Right now my wife and I are battening down the hatches with our first baby on its way in September. But I would love to GM another in person campaign eventually (I own wrath of the righteous, skulls and shackles, and mummy's mask) but it's so frustrating to get a consistent group when everyone is married/has kids/is busy.
I also play at a Sunday night table top game. We have played Legacy of Fire, Shattered Star, and Serpent's Skull completely (I GM'd the Serpent's Skull campaign). We tried Kingmaker, but we had too many people come and go so it was just easier to stop it. I believe we were at the end of book 2. Currently we are playing a Rise of the Drow campaign.

So...Chelaxians have quasi-Italian names, but their empire seems modeled roughly on imperial Britain...what do we assume their accent is like? I always figured that they (and Taldans) had english accents, though slightly different ones (Taldans being more of a London accent, perhaps, Chelaxians being more northern, or vice-versa).
Many folks actually liken Cheliax to Spain with the diabolists representing the Spanish Inquisition. Quite a bit of irony in that view, but totally valid in my opinion. ;-)
There's some interesting possible ideas in this thread.
Ultimately, there's no "canon" association, so pick one, and we'll all run with it as our little version of Golarion's real world source for Cheliax. :-)

I lied. I thought I would have time to burn hiding in the basement during our baby shower. It turned out I was preoccupied the entire day.
I am back from vacation and super excited to get back to the game for another week until I leave again for a bit (I promise that this is the last weeklong trip without internet this summer.) It's nice to see that you've managed to keep the game flowing into the morning without me. I am going to sweep the morning along some more into the beginning of the festival if that is okay with everyone. Feel free to go back and finish anything you were saying retroactively.

How have you folks been enjoying the game so far? Any comments or feedback that I could use?
I think it has the story touch I like to see without a rush from one combat to another that I have seen in other PbPs. An increase in frequency of posts is the only thing I would ask for at the moment. But as a GM of my own PbP heavy on characterization and story, I understand how that goes sometimes. :-)
I would really love to be able to deal with the doings of each individual character at least once a day, but right now it's a bit challenging since you are all split up. I will try my best to keep up!
I've enjoyed it. I like how Alexei kind of 'hired' us all so we now have a bond.

Bad news: my job has started blocking access to Paizo. Sadly this means my posts will become super less frequent. I'm really sorry. :-/
While we have been relatively slow moving due to summer vacations, I usually have done most of my posting at work. I may have trouble keeping up unless I can find another way to post.
That's a great idea Sabina. I've been using my phone to post because my employer dislikes when employees post on message boards.
It''s coincidental that your company recently blocked Paizo's website. My company too, recently blocked the website (just last week), but as I use my phone anyways, it hasn't affected me much.
Coincidentally, this suggestion was given to me earlier today by a close friend and should be very doable. Assuming there is no cumbersome obstacles provided by the mobile device, this option should allow me to surmount the aforementioned web filter. :D
My job still uses an old version of IE which is no longer supported by Paizo, so it is difficult to post at work also. I sometimes use my smart phone, but most of the time I wait until I get home. Then I get in trouble with my wife for neglecting my Honey-Do list and 'doing that D and D Stuff' :)
