Guys, I don't typically do an update after every single action. Olaff's grab will fail. Still waiting on Aurora and Tylur's regular actions.

And the morals of this story are:
1) Unconscious due to damage, either lethal or non-lethal, is better than magical sleep, which wears off pretty quickly. Like say in the amount of time it takes to have a persuasive discussion with an NPC.
2) Your bindings are only as good as the binder's CMB. It was good thinking to remember to tie him up, but René's +0 CMB made for an easy Escape DC. Note this IS an action that can be aided in order to increase the final DC.
3) They be tricksy little goblinses! Watch out! XD
Also, I wanted a decent encounter so those who had yet to participate in any heroics wouldn't have so many misgivings over being called "Heroes". ^_~
Oh, I could have told you René wouldn't be very good at tying it up (I'm still kind of sad Use Rope isn't its own skill), but everybody else was talking, so... *shrugs*

Yep I think we are :) If you point it out to Aurora she would do it but it honestly would not occur to her. Much like it did not occur to me. I am planning on her be a skilled healer but she needs to grow into it. Also I wrote the wrong characters name for who she was kneeling beside. Opps.
So sorry about my delay, everyone. My charging cord for my laptop got mangled in the inner workings of my recliner and would no longer work to charge the battery. Then it took a little time to find a replacement cord of the right type and get it shipped to me. But it arrived today and now I'm back online and trying to catch up all over the boards. I have a lot of catching up to do!

While we are waiting to hear back from bluedove, what do you all think of me running the game until then? We have such a good group, I would hate for us to get too far out of whack. I won't read that much ahead so that when bluedove does return, I won't have too much outside knowledge.

I would be fine with that since mostly I just want to keep playing René. But if theoretically bluedove doesn't show up again, would you keep DMing? I don't want you to step into a DM role thinking it'll be temporary and then wind up having it be more permanent since that seems a bit unfair to you.

I would agree with René.
I would hope that it would be temporary, but if I have to DM until the end of the campaign, I would be fine with that as well. When I played Cordwin in a desktop campaign, he eventually became "knowledge-boy" (Rolling +23 on all knowledge skills get you a lot!) so the knowledge I would have as DM would probably be the same Cordwin would have so it would work.
I've always wanted to play this and I think it is a great group so I would be in it for the long haul. I still am keeping my fingers crossed for bluedove.

Yeah, this is the beauty of RP! Sometimes we play a PC completely different from what we have imagine, and it generally leads to even more fun.
Just as a side note, I was aware about it, but I'm telling you this just as some sort of curiosity: Calling a woman 'a cat' (specially a younger woman), here in Brazil is actually a compliment! It means she is beautiful.
