Thanks! ^^
I recommend we give the dagger to one of the casters. They'd probably get the most mileage out of it.
Hmmm... As our resident Rogue/Wizard, I nominate Seren.
Segang
I am thinking of taking the Superstitious rage power at the moment. This is an extra +2 on all saves against spells, Supernatural Abilities and Spelllike Abilities while raging. Will go up by 1 every 4 levels, so +3 at 4th level. But I must make a save against friendly spells too, while raging. Thoughts?
The chain will lead to Witch Huter at 4th (I would never hunt you Mel. :) ) which gives extra damage against spell users and creatures with spell like abilities. And Spell Sunder at 6th, where I can sunder ongoing spell effects. Someone is charmed, I sunder that magic. An engangle goes off - I sunder it. It suppresses the magic for a round or two, or, if I do well enough it dispels it. The chain can continue with Disruptive and Spellbreaker.
Other popular options seem to be the Beast Totem chain which leads to Pounce at level 10 - charge and full attack. The Vitality track is also pretty nice.
Maybe our DM could give me a hint of what would be useful.... :)

I would say no to giving the dagger to one of our casters. It's worth a lot of our wealth so I think we should give it to someone who will actually use it, which leaves Segang, me, and Absinthe. Or Seren if he would ever leave the back rank.
@Segang - I don't like the Superstitious line because it basically means healing won't work that well on you. So if you do get hurt, you're on your own. That could lead to a dead Segang. And while Beast Totem is good, it's been overdone. The stereotypical optimized barbarian is the invulnerable rager with beast totem. If you want defense, rolling dodge and guarded stance, while mediocre can give you some more AC. I like the elemental totem myself. You could be our flaming Segang. :)
The vitality track is kinda bad because it's only 1/day and it doesn't even heal that much.

Seren has no intention of being a front line guy, ever. Deception and illusion from here on out.
Dagger to a warrior, but don't have it count against his/her share and when its sold, we all get the split.
Segang
The barbarian is not using a dagger. It would be embarrassing. What would his barbarian friends think? :) Seriously, he can power through the DR of about anything and do better with his earth breaker than a dagger that bypasses DR. Average damage with an earth breaker is 14. Average with a dagger is 5, so even with DR 10 its about the same.
Melianthe Ssulissien
I wasn't drowned by the Barbarian Witch Hunters yet! Looks like I'm on the boards for another day. I do love Invulnerable Rager with DR/fire, myself. However, I haven't looked to see how that optimizes with those classy genteel Urban Barbs.
Absinthe Mooneyes
So, it's a choice between Demitri and Abbie for who gets the dagger now?
I won't lie, I would like to own it, but I don't plan on taking Two-weapon fighting until 5th level, really. ^^;
Segang
Except for the crit range I think the dagger is better for you than a rapier. Hmm. But its silver so that is -1 damage, right?
You know, the more I think on it, the more I do not want a magic silver weapon. Better to have two weapons (a magic one and a silver one) so you do not have to take the -1 to damage when you do not need silver, which is almost always.
Demitri Severin
Segang is right, use the dagger for now. The -1 to damage is a wash with the +1 to damage because its a +1 weapon. So you'd get +1 to hit for a net loss of -1 dmg from the lower die size. I was gonna spend my share on a masterwork longsword for myself anyhow. And since we're level 2, we should take what we can get. So I will assign the magic dagger to Absinthe for the time being.
So with Abby taking the dagger and Segang taking the bow/arrows as his share, we each have 576. And Absinthe needs 80 right?
Segang
If we sold the dagger we could buy three masterwork weapons for the group that all give +1 to hit and three silver weapons too.
I am good either way but personally have decided the silver dagger is not an asset. Multiple people can cast Magic Weapon and for 25 gold a pop you can buy scrolls of it.

I'm just saving up for a Mithral Buckler, which is about the only melee gear I'll get (I think.)
Stuff I added upon levelling:
+1 Fly
+1 Intimidate
+1 Kn Arcana
+1 Kn Nature
+1 Perception
+1 Spellcraft
Hexes: Cackle.
I'll update the Familiar Spellbook as well. I need to make sure that 'book is constructed correctly--HeroLab says aye, but I shall check the rules.

Hmmm. Since I'm planning on Improved Unarmed Strike anyway, Eldritch Claws is looking mighty tasty. :) *Has sudden vision of Abbie beating up a werewolf. Werewolf: "Wrrryyyy~?! :'( "*
Fiendish Darkness could also be good, to improve the usefulness of my Darkness ability.
Question: If I take IUS, would an empty hand count as an off-hand weapon for the purpose of Two-Weapon Fighting and Two-Weapon Defence?
Absinthe Mooneyes
My basic plan is, right now:
3rd level - Fighter: feats IUS + Nightmare Fist.
4th level - Rogue
5th level - Fighter: Two-Weapon Fighting + ...?
I'm slightly torn between Eldritch Claws, Fiendish Darkness, Nightmare Weaver and Two-Weapon Defence for the second feat at 5th level. ^^ Decisions, decisions...
In any case, I plan to go at least to the 3rd level of Fighter before going back to Rogue.
Hmmm. Thinking about it further, it might be best to leave Nightmare Weaver off until I've got a more respectable rank in Intimidate.
Absinthe Mooneyes
Or I just try to make sure I don't catch you guys in the darkness' radius. ^^;
As for getting more use out of my Darkness, I am pleased to report I have the Prolong magic-trait. That makes the ability a bit more handy even at a once a day-use.

By the way, Seren -- didn't you say you were taking Evocation as an opposition school? I guess that means you won't be joining the club of Darkness-using people. ^^; Not unless you take that one trait that unlocks barred schools for 1 spell per slot-casting, anyway.
Nice selection of spells! But... why don't you have a Linguistics score?

I did take evocation as an opposite. Force myself to play differently. I intend to use invisibility in place of darkness :)
No linguistics yet, since I haven't picked a language that I want to add with it. Holding out for next level on Linguistics.

Segang would love for you to learn Enlarge Person at some point. :) Heck, if you will prep it some, he will buy you the scroll.

Spellcraft: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (7) + 8 = 15; fail
Week 2: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (15) + 8 = 23; success
35 more gp to learn, and I'll scribe a couple scrolls of it. Again this assumes we have a week of down time for me to take a second stab at learning it.

Nope, just the reroll.
Rosa
As for how I see Rosa developing...actually a good question, and there are two things I was going to ask about:
1) If Rosa takes the Versatile Channeling feat, can she apply a Variant Channel only to the negative energy aspect?
2) If that's the case, and I use the Charm domain variant, would it be acceptable to not count it as an attack (Frankly, I'd even drop the damage entirely in this case, because it makes the thing useless if it automatically makes people hostile.)
Absinthe Mooneyes
Rosa, I am happy to have you on our side, but I gotta tell you...
I'm pretty glad I didn't let you get at Lamm first. ^^;
Screams for mercy ruin my appetite.
Absinthe Mooneyes
No, it's because Calistrian justice would probably have involved killing Lamm with something other than a quick coup de grace, and I'm actually a rather tender-hearted person. ^^;
I really don't see you as the type to switch sides.
Rosa
Well, in his case it probably wouldn't have involved killing him at all.
...now, Dominating him into working for charity and the bare minimum of food needed to not suffer malnutrition (so he keeps on being forced to watch himself be altruistic from the inside until he dies of natural causes) she'd arrange for.
Absinthe Mooneyes
Demitri, Melianthe, may I put in an appearance as well, or would you rather play it out between the two of you?
Absinthe Mooneyes
Red alert! My network is being extra crappy, so I may not be able to get online - reliably - at home for the foreseeable future. o_o Please NPC me if needed…
Absinthe Mooneyes
Advance warning: I will be going on holiday the 27th, and will remain away until the 5th. I should be able to get online during that time, but there are no guarantees.
The internet at home continues to be worse than spotty...
