Well, yes there is, actually. Wand of CLW is terrible in-combat healing, and even rolling ones and nothing but it'll fill the whole party up twice and then some. More realistically, it'll last through twenty or so combats if our innate healing is exhausted. One is good for now.

Agree about a good offense, which is why I want that hammer.
Well, I'm a believer in staying conscious/alive long enough to do damage so I will pick up the masterwork breastplate which will leave me with 71 extra gold for my share.

I don't want to invest in too much armour; Dex-based skills are some of the Rogue's finest tools. ^^; Guess I need to have a peek in the Core Rulebook...

I second the mithral shirt. You are about half way there. A masterwork weapon seems like a good idea too.
Well until you get it, I can make sure to shield of faith you when I can. Wouldn't want Abbie to get pummeled as I'm sure a fight is about to break out when we meet these deserters.
There is that possibility. But I have a feeling they're angry and they want any reason to throw down. But if we let the diplomats talk and not the barbarian/inquisitor speak, we might be okay.
I'm also inclined to think 'setup' here. Not that there isn't something to the idea that members of the Guard would go rogue, but the lovely captain all but flat-out admitted that she'd ignore anything seriously implicating the Queen. Whether that's misplaced patriotism, ambition and hoping to suck up, or a genuine belief that this shouldn't be messed with right now. . .

The captain does seem alright, yes.
Still, I'd like to go in talking, rather than with swords swinging and arrows flying. We've already heard some odd rumours, and the way Ileosa conscripted us is tickling my paranoia bone.
I think it's just a PR thing to be honest. Considering it's not going well for her, she needs all the good press and making sure the city is not rioting is a good start.

Skull box: I'd day at least 500 cubic inches. That is only 8X8X8ish.
This barbarian has some urban flavor and is trained in diplomacy... If we want to find out "why" maybe we could pretend to join up at first? We could pretend to be loyal to the old king and say we've heard this is where we join the resistance...

I am a mac guy. I know they are expensive, but I have never had one die. I end up giving away my old ones when I get a new one.
Right now I do not even own a computer. Gave my last one to my wife and the one before that to my mom. I have two from work and can bring either home.
Personally, I'd go with a cheap-ass netbook for a quick replacement. Not permanent, but you can get one on almost any budget and don't need the tech expertise for a Raspberry Pi (Not to mention the TV). You can worry about a real laptop later.

Even though it looks like rain, I'll be camping with boy scouts this weekend and will be of line from mid day tomorrow through mid day Sunday.

Hard to make a pursuit decision when we did not know how far away the runner is and did not know he is out of sight. Still do not know. IF Segang could get to the corner in his 30' move he could make the throw. True he can make untrained heal checks, but he trusts others in his group to tend to the wounded.
Personally, I don't think the building is empty. I believe Unibrow and them were going to ge reinforcements, and I think the dude that Seren encountered upstairs (perhaps our target?) is still there.
He's not on the map b/c he's 40 ft down the street, around the corner.
To clarify, he's not in sight at the start of the round because he turned the corner and ran down the street. You would be able to see him by stepping outside for the javelin throw or the hex. I don't have a street map to draw out the chase... you'll have to visualize it.[/ooc]

All, two trips I need to mention.
1) Taking kids to a convention this weekend so will not be posting a lot after about 7:00 tonight. Playing 6 slots of PFS. :) Will be back late Sunday.
And 2) I leave on the 13th of March for a two week trip celebrating a significant wedding anniversary (I am an old married guy :) ). Going to travel in Turkey. Not sure of price/availability of internet as I travel but will try to post at least evert other day during that time. Please bot me as needed.
As for Turkey...well, I'm honestly not sure myself, but I would seriously go ahead and check out a travel guide for the areas you're planning to visit - Internet is just so needed by so many people these days that where (and how) to get a connection will be covered by anyone competent.

I'm sure you can get internet in the hotels. Turkey is a great place to travel around in (as long as you are not a member of the Armenian diaspora and have a bone to pick)...enjoy the mosques, ruins, and great food!
I'll be out in April for a bit. Erm, paternity leave. Sorry to break the fourth wall!

I have it all planned out - likely too planned. That is how us engineers roll. :) Not venturing East of Ankara except for two days in Cappadocia. Staying out of Eastern Anatolia completely, even though I'd love to see that part of the country too. It seems a little risky at the moment and there is just not enough time to see everything.
I am also pretty sure internet will be available and reliable in the hotels I am staying at but am not sure if it will be included in the room or how much it will be. Traveling in Brazil sometimes the hotel internet was 30.00 a day. I hate to support what I see as near extortion. lol

I loved Izmir and Istanbul; didn't have time for more as I was globe trotting. If I were to go back I'd pop in to say hi to some internet pals and shop for a baglama saz and a yayli tanbur (I'm a bard at heart). Be sure to go to the Cistern while in Istanbul. Coolest thing ever.
