I am too.
To be fair Kenji is in shock that they even stopped trying to kill us. That says much for the paladins ability.

Lyraesel |

Severe trauma at the hands of goblins, semi-feral nature.....good luck with the negotiations.

Jinda Copperflask |

This is a heads up!
I am having severe computer difficulties, new parts arrived today will most likely not post a lot this weekend, if I'm interrupting the flow by not being here, just have me miss again with Ray of Frost.
This is the worse case scenario, I'll be able to check the game with phone but it is very hard to type, so it'll be minimal if PC isn't back to functional.

Jinda Copperflask |

"Computer trouble" officially starts this evening when I take it apart! Though that was an excellent miss! Just as if I would have done it myself!

Kaijitsu Kenji |

What the everloving heck is going on, dice roller? Frigging gonna wipe on goblins like this. :p

Lyraesel |

We're a level 1 party that fights like a level 1 party. Goblins are supposed to be trouble for a level 1 group.

DM Jesse Heinig |

Welcome back! Waiting on you guys to decide what to do now that the next group of goblins is en route.

DM Jesse Heinig |

That seems to be the question! Magnauk needed to get me his handle for Roll20 so I can link his token to his account, and Lyraesel needs to figure out how she wants to respond to the goblins advancing from the south, I believe?

Lyraesel |

Picking up her bow, Lyraesel moves over to face the oncoming goblins.

Kaijitsu Kenji |

Kenji is going to move over to Lyraesel his next turn, since it seems that helping Jinda no longer seems necessary. If possible I'd like to take a shot at one of the goblins before they get off the platform.

DM Jesse Heinig |

I've hooked Monta H. to the token for Magnauk, so you should be able to move him now.
Kenji, you can absolutely take a shot. Then the goblins are going to be all over Hiro and Magnauk.

Hiro Takemashi |

May I have access to the Roll20 map so I can move my own token? My handle on the Roll 20 site is Max H., and my e-mail address is rgmhome at hotmail dot com.
Thanks!

I've linked your token to your account, so you should now be able to whiz it around the map like a crazed aeroplane. :)

Hiro Takemashi |

Magnauk quickly moves up to the goblins and takes a defensive stance in front of them.
double move and full defense if possible versus the goblins
Afraid total defense is a standard action - can't be combined with a double move.

DM Jesse Heinig |

On the upside, they used their readied actions to shoot Hiro, so taking a double move up next to them puts them in a bad position when their turn comes up again -- shooting provokes an AOO, so they either have to drop bows and draw dogslicers for melee (which is worse for them) or try to step back and shoot (which will eventually run them back into the room behind them and cause crowding problems for them).

Kaijitsu Kenji |

I tried posting last night but wayfinder was having a fit so I log in today to see my post didn't go through :/
I'm posting my action now.

DM Jesse Heinig |

I am back from being out of town!

DM Jesse Heinig |

Good luck with the closing. Hopefully defeating evil goblin thieves is a stress reliever!

DM Jesse Heinig |

Anyone? Is everybody on vacation for the weekend? :D

Jinda Copperflask |

hmm... it would be easiest to smok'em out... but not sure about pushing that line just yet.
Magnauk should just go to town on breaking the door down. Let Hiro and Lyr get them if they try and escape out the back?

That's as good an idea as any. Does anyone have any other ideas or things they want to try? At this point, if not, I'll just assume you'll go with that, since we've been waiting for a bit. :)

Unless someone thinks they can talk their way out... wait, what wbout the fireworks? Scare em out?

Well, talking them out would probably involve speaking the goblin language, and that didn't go so well the first time . . .
Presumably they have fireworks in there. If you set the whole place on fire they'd probably go off. Then again if you just burn the place to the ground it would do the job with or without fireworks. Horrible way to go, too! Of course if they have a lot of fireworks the building could explode. Maybe safer to do the front-and-back that Jinda suggested.
I'd like to move forward so I will kinda push for Jinda's plan unless the rest of the group posts up and decides to do something markedly different. Checkin' back in tomorrow . . .

Hiro Takemashi |

Apologies for the absence. I've been tied up with the in-laws (figuratively, not literally) since last Thursday. Jinda's plan sounds good to me. I'll have a post up in the gameplay thread this evening.

Hiro Takemashi |

This fight with the goblin chief is tough! But I'm confident that if we all work together (and the dice roller cooperates!) then we can take him down... and save Jinda before he bleeds out!

DM Jesse Heinig |

The goblin chief is no joke. I'll tell you more about his stats after you defeat him!

Lyraesel |

This is crazy intense, I'm at 1 hp, will definitely try touch of bloodletting if he's still standing.

DM Jesse Heinig |

's far as I know, Pathfinder ditched the "no going back once you take levels in a non-paladin class."
If you want to be a better healer you can focus on feats that give you more lay on hands or mercies, or you could take the hospitaler archetype.

Kaijitsu Kenji |

Yeah lay on hands is pretty sweet now

DM Jesse Heinig |

For the morbidly curious, Chief Gutwad was a goblin with 3 ranger levels and favored enemy: humans. He was AC 20!

Hiro Takemashi |

Here's a listing of the treasures we've found:
Goblin Chief:
- Well-made (masterwork?) small composite longbow (claimed by Magnauk);
- Well-crafted (masterwork?) small mail shirt;
- Small spear, not particularly well-made;
- 5 magical bone arrows with serrated-teeth arrowheads;
- 1 Skyrocket;
- 2 Potions of Cure Light Wounds, CL 3 (1 used by Hiro);
- 32 gold pieces;
- 300 gp reward for chief's head.
Minkaian Chest:
- 329 sp, 112 gp;
- 6 masterwork shuriken;
- a long hairpin with a red pearl at one end;
- a gold and ivory fan depicting a gecko walking amid cherry blossoms (with crude map to cave in cliffs).
Plus 13 sets of goblin ears (2 goblins ran away).
Hiro will suggest giving the well-crafted small mail shirt to Walthus in thanks for his hospitality and help in finding the cave in the cliff.
