She's the most beautiful baby ever. I don't even know how to express that. However, since I'm the dad and not breastfeeding the baby or doing much else while momma and baby sleep, I actually do have some free time to do forum posts, and free wifi in the hospital (which we will be here for at least another day guaranteed) :P

Good news and bad news!
GOOD NEWS: We just hit our one year anniversary! The first gameplay post was March 10 of last year.
To celebrate, I'm going to give the party a blanket 1,000 xp, which means that once you solve the mystery of Eloran's murder (assuming you don't beat a hasty retreat out ahead of angry townsfolk), you'll make it to level 3.
BAD NEWS: Still no response from Hiro, and he hasn't been posting under any aliases, either. I think we will need to replace him at this point, which is a shame since he was a great contributor and really organized.
Same biz applies: If there's anyone from the prior list that you think is a good recruit, speak up. If you would prefer that we re-open recruitment and look for a new player, we can do that instead.

From a purely game-ist standpoint I like the dwarf warpriest because he'll bring a little more healing and support magic + filling for Hiro as a frontliner.
Also, if you have specific stuff that you want to say but you don't want other people reading it, feel free to send me a PM -- like "Oh I played with X player before and s/he is a tool" -- I can take that into consideration without putting it on one of the boards where they might read it. ;)

Hopefully, we'll all soon be back together to share info and uncover the murderer. And in Scooby Doo fashion, it will be old man Higgins, the owner of the haunted farm.
As to replacements, since I'm new myself I don't have a strong opinion though the warpriest does seem to fill the most holes in the party makeup.
Ok, I will extend an email to Mokshai and ask if that player is interested in joining us with the dwarf warpriest, unless Magnauk or Lyraesel has another opinion!

Mokshai has accepted and should be joining us in 3 days (he has to work nights the next 2 days, and he needs to get his character updated and catch up on the story and then post after that).

At the moment, the party is in a caravan en route to Brinewall. They've stopped in Wolf's Ear for supplies, and one of the townspeople has accused one of the drivers (Vankor) of murdering his (the townsperson's) daughter, Eloran.
Some sneaky investigation by the party has determined that Eloran was murdered, by someone who apparently looked like Vankor but was not actually him. They don't have a good lead on a potential suspect yet.
Since your character has a tie to Sandru, the caravan driver, he'll introduce you and bring you in to the mix as soon as you're ready to go!
Up to date, and ready to roll. :)

I may be haphazard for the next few days. My girlfriend just wrote off her car, and she is having issues from the collision.
Will be posting from my tablet, where i can look at the maps, but cannot interact with them.

If you guys need it I can always copy maps from Roll20 and put them on a Google Drive sheet, if that is easier to view on a tablet. Harder to do grid-based movement that way, though, and fewer tools, which is why I prefer Roll20. ;)
No worries, but a map on google drive, can work. I will just give a set of coordinates where i move to. Will only be for a bit hopefully. (Fracture in one of the vertebrea)

Plenty of silver coins, possibly some jewelry and trade goods (tableware). If you mean alchemical silver weapons, that is something else. ;)
