DM Jesse's Jade Regent (Inactive)

When a decades-old secret is exposed, an unassuming local tavern-owner and a close friend of the PCs discovers her birthright is to rule one of the ancient Dragon Empires of Tian Xia—the empire of Minkai. Yet the current ruler of this empire, the mysterious and increasingly cruel Jade Regent, has no intention of giving up his hold over the throne. In order to save Minkai from a would-be tyrant, the PCs must not only escort their friend from Varisia to Tian Xia, braving the frozen horrors of the Crown of the World, but must aid her in gaining the trust and support of a nation on the edge of anarchy.

Ameiko Kaijitsu (Female human bard/aristocrat/rogue) - Wealthy owner of the Rusty Dragon, scion of one of the four noble families of Sandpoint. Congenial, flirty, protective.

Shalelu Andosana (Female elf ranger/fighter) - Mysterious traveler who protects Sandpoint from monsters. Friend of Ameiko. Withdrawn, private, curt.

Koya Mvashti (Female human cleric) - Local priestess in Sandpoint; old, but still spry. Insightful, pedagogical, adventurous.

Sandru Vhiski (Male human rogue) - Traveling caravan master, inveterate tale-teller, and scoundrel with a heart of tarnished copper.

Bevelek (Male human) -- Caravan driver. Brother of Vankor. Lean, surly, generally unhappy.

Vankor (Male human) -- Caravan driver. Brother of Bevelek. Husky, jolly, witty.

Annika Carver (Female human) - Leatherworker. Lean, tall, dark-haired and intelligent. Quiet but well-read, with an occasional flair for the unusual.

Derek Carver (Male human) - Glassblower. Lean, tall, dark-haired and loyal. Chatty and less intelligent than his sister but a solid friend.

Eloran (Female human, deceased) - Resident of Wolf's Ear. Vankor was accused of seducing her and killing her.
Mistress Maressa (Female human) - Resident of Wolf's Ear. Claims she saw Vankor with Eloran by the east bridge before Eloran's bloody and ruined bodice was found later by the river.
Varek (Male human) - Resident of Wolf's Ear. Father of Eloran. Believes that Vankor killed his daughter, interested in revenge.
Santolino (Male human) - Minor local magician and entertainer. Suspect (by the party) in Eloran's death.
Gef (Male half-orc) - Assistant and associate to Santolino. Often seen with a dog named Chomper.
Scarletta (Female human) - Lonely woman who keeps to herself but seems to have a strong conscience.

In Brinewall Castle:

Deborah Braunch (Female human ley line guardian witch) - Eccentric. Middling height, platinum blonde, well-educated but often withdrawn. Niece of the Scarnetti family, and thus wealthy and well-connected in Sandpoint. Has some baggage from her past. Gothic, alcoholic, complex.
Spivey (Female lyrakien cleric) - A small and skittish faerie worshipper of Desna who guarded the temple of the town, making it seem haunted after invaders took over and slaughtered everyone. Now committed to helping Kenji and Deborah in their goal of liberating and rebuilding the castle and bringing in new settlers for the village.

Kelda Oxgutter (Female Ulfen human barbarian) - Loyal warrior rescued from the dungeons of Brinewall. A practiced sailor and fighter who's familiar with Ulfen territory and tradition.
