[LE] StoryTeller

you assumed R4 would go down. It did not. Therefore i assumed that the ape would try to club the enemy in front of it. (hence the reason why i asked in the ooc if those after the enemy could wait until after i posted to do their posting

you are more then welcome to repost you ape's action but remember it is not an intelligent animal you have to Order him around. Right now his current order are to take out the enemy (your round one order was :"to get them" Therefore he does and is still attacking R4)

Galdamor you might want to 5ft step as right now you are standing over Rufa lying on the ground.

Both Silvanius and his Ape companion are hit very hard during the enemy onslaught, catching bite and fiery breath almost with its full force.

"Assist me Grook!" - at Silvanius's urging, the Ape screams wildly and launches a furious attack at the Hellhound bearing down on his companion.

Amazingly, through the pain, Silvanius manages to keep his concentration and finalize his conjuration.

Summoning an Hippogriff across J10-K10 as it is large, and I believe it occupies 10' long by 5' across? (Modified stats from Augment Summoning: STR+4 -> +2 to hit/damage || CON+4 -> Total HP: 31) - it attacks HH3 immediately if it is still up, else it attacks HH1

Silvanius takes a step back (5' to I6, no AoO I believe?) and conjures forth another natural spell, invoking cold and turning his target's sweat to ice, creating blisters as the ice forms on and inside the skin. (Targetting priority: HH1 -> HH3 -> HH2 depending on which are up)

Silvanus trough sheer force of will manages to finish his incantation and conjure some cold to strike one of the target

Silvanus i will allow it this time :)(its our first combat after all) but remember its your job to things about these things (after all i do a map with all the spells effect and stuff)

as a FHI hippogriff can not do a 5ft step in flight then don't have good manoeuvrability for that.

damage: 1d12 + 19 ⇒ (12) + 19 = 31
Fail :(

He will take a 5ft step towards R1 and then stab at his with his rapier...

Reil the slope is X4 movement so you can't take a 5ft step. it takes your full move to get into that square. But it doesn't change anything) Remember no the left of the battle Map i have labeled everything...

Ah my mistake. I should remember to check the map key... I just saw the one square and was like... oh hey!

Round 4

Listen DD18: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (7) + 2 = 9

By Hextor ! What the heck !

Galdamor was surprised by the fact that the two sworded hobgoblin could attack Rufa.

He was not happy when he see the young wizardess taking two hits and droping inconscious. He try to protect her by going on top of her.

Then he hit the hobgoblin who take down the woman. The best defence being attacking.

Heavy Flail with Power Attack (-2/+4): 1d20 + 8 + 3 - 2 + 1 ⇒ (7) + 8 + 3 - 2 + 1 = 171d10 + 6 + 4 + 1 ⇒ (10) + 6 + 4 + 1 = 21

We will see I you are better than a follower of Hextor !

no action : take a 5ft. on Rufa (K:7)
standard action : hit B
current bonus :
(bard song) +1 moral bonus to hit, damages and save against fear and charm
(Law devotion) +3 profane bonus to hit

Round 4
Denlin moves one square south again, cursing the rugged terrain, then takes a swing at the hobgoblin who is still sending arrows his way.

Attack: 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (8) + 11 = 19
Damage: 2d6 + 15 ⇒ (2, 4) + 15 = 21

Round 4

Silvanius Listen: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (19) + 7 = 26
Silvanius Spot: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (15) + 7 = 22

"There is indeed someone hidden and casting spells!" - Silvanius reinforces Brian's warning, as he tries to find their hidden opponent.

I have a couple of doubts regarding the map: I see a Zarr, who is this person, as I don't see any actions for it - can we see him/her? Also, what/who is H2, can we see him/her? Will post regardless, with some contingencies:

IF this Zarr is the caster and visible, the hipoggriff takes a simple 5' adjustment to the north (leaving the greased area and landing), since now he fits, and attacks him:

Hippogriff Claw Attack: 1d20 + 8 + 1 ⇒ (4) + 8 + 1 = 13Damage: 1d4 + 6 + 1 ⇒ (3) + 6 + 1 = 10
Hippogriff Claw Attack: 1d20 + 8 + 1 ⇒ (9) + 8 + 1 = 18Damage: 1d4 + 6 + 1 ⇒ (3) + 6 + 1 = 10
Hippogriff Claw Attack: 1d20 + 3 + 1 ⇒ (14) + 3 + 1 = 18Damage: 1d8 + 4 + 1 ⇒ (5) + 4 + 1 = 10

IF the above conditions are not met, the hippogriff will still make his 5' adjustment and attack Hobgoblin B

----------------------------------------------------------------

Silvanius takes a step forward, casts a spell to revigorate Grook'O (Bear's Endurance) and urges him - "My friend, find who is speaking from hiding and get him!" - trying to point him in the correct direction (Using the spot roll from above if possible) - "There!"

I have realized that this guy/girl may be invisible and summoning stuff on us... DM Greg, please keep in mind Grook'O has scent

Reflex if Grook'O needs to cross the Grease: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (20) + 6 = 26

Attack if Grook'O finds the caster: 1d20 + 7 + 1 ⇒ (7) + 7 + 1 = 15Damage: 1d6 + 5 + 1 ⇒ (3) + 5 + 1 = 9

If Silvanius cannot use his Spot and Listen rolls to direct Grook'o, here are the Apes' own rolls:

Grook'O Listen to know if he has also listened to the casting: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (5) + 6 = 11
Spot if needed to see if Grook'O can pinpoint its location: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (15) + 6 = 21

If per earlier actions, the Hippogriff spotted the caster and took it down, Silvanius will direct Grook'O to target hobgoblin B instead

Grook current status -> HP:15/29 || AC: 17
Silvanius current status -> HP:8/31 || AC: 18
Hippogriff current status -> HP:31/31 || AC: 15
