Would I be able to hurl a bomb through the bars of the gate? If so, will do that in an attempt to interrupt the spell casting. If I can't see him directly, will target adjacent space to hit with splash area.
Stink Bomb (ranged touch):1d20 + 12 ⇒ (3) + 12 = 15... Effect: 10 ft radius stinking cloud, DC 17 Fort Save or become nauseated. Cloud persists 6 rounds.
And we'll consider this combat, so I'll need initiative and full actions from everyone. Vuloo rolled initiative, but didn't post a standard action. Relan/Braelex didn't roll initiative. For the purposes of the other guy, all he's doing is casting this round. There won't be any discernible effect

Braelex hucks a stink bomb through the small hole in the gate, striking the area she saw the dhampir disappear from last. She hears a cough and gagging from behind the post.
Aidon summons more elementals who flow around and look for the dhampir. From his viewpoint he sees them swinging away at something behind the pylon. (No need to roll initiative for summons, they will always go immediately after you)
Vuloo opens a lifelink as Relan, Levelle and the other ellies all yank on the gate, snapping a welded joint and sending the intervening bar flying. With a screech of metal the gate grinds up about 6 feet into the ceiling.
The dhampir stumbles away, coughing and vomiting to the east side of the room. (Is there a duration on the effect? Assume it's per spell)
Braelex moves under the raised gate, turning left and hugging the northern wall to avoid the noxious smoke. Along the way, she drinks an extract that enhances her reflexes.

Relan double moves to get to his self declared foe. Can you tell us why you have no choice? he asks the dhampir. I would rather not be forced to hurt you.
Thanks, everyone for bearing with me. Twas an awesome game in Denver. Glad I went, although I had to skip a mortgage payment to cover it!
Back to the game!
Braelex moves in skirting the cloud and drinking her extract. Aidon directs the elementals out of the cloud and they fumble out, 2 of them getting close enough to clobber the dhampir a bit more.
Vuloo opens a link as Levelle and Relan pause to assess or open a dialogue with the dhampir, who just holds up a hand and continues to retch and heave.

Relan assists with the attempt at diplomacy the best way he can. He tries to trip the man and then follow through with a disarm attempt.
Trip:1d20 + 16 ⇒ (5) + 16 = 21
Disarm:1d20 + 14 - 5 ⇒ (2) + 14 - 5 = 11
If he does trip the man he his Greater trip feat allows an aoo and he strikes with non-lethal force.
Braelex's computer is on the whack ... I'll see if I can get something out of her player. I sent a note to ask Aidon to post given his elementals are doing lethal damage currently
They can "ready for attack" on their own like Braelex is ... ready for "not submit" or ready for "receive order" is a little too complex for the ready action.

Standing over the man Relan disarms him and says Do not attempt to rise or to retrieve the weapon and you will not be harmed further. You seemed compelled to resist us. Explain yourself. Relan is content to wait for the man's coughing fit to pass.
Vuloo will cautiously move into the room to address the dhampir. "There's no need for us to be enemies. Answer his question and I'm sure we can help you."
Relan knocks the blade aside and the dhampir stares at it for a moment, longingly before sighing and gazes forlornly back at Relan, "You are here to harm my love ... I cannot treat with you and should you let me up to fight fairly, I will slay you all."

That is strange news to me. I do not believe I know your love and have no specific intention to harm anyone, besides maybe you, and only you if you try to reach for your weapon or stand up. Why do you not tell me who you are, how you came to be here and of your love. It may very well be the best thing you can do to help her at this point. The fact that we do not wish to kill you, even when we have advantage over you should tell you something if you are in full possession of your wits.
"No one comes here without the desire to harm Sorshen or steal from her home. Which do you wish to do?" The white-skinned man flashes a slightly fanged toothy yet humorless grin.

But you let that band of thieving Grey Maidens past simply because they knew a special word? You are a fool and have been either enchanted or full out mind controlled. Turning back to the party he asks Is he worth a Protection from Evil spell to see if he is magically controlled or shall I put him out of our misery?
You drop the spell on the dhampir and for a moment he looks confused, but then his eyes sparkle again and he snarls at you, "What did you hex me with, you blind fool!"
I have to confess that I am very confused. He let the others by but is convinced that we are thieves? It seems as though that spell did something...perhaps it was not strong enough? Should we attempt to render him unconscious?
Vuloo sighs at the dhampir, "I lifted the veil from your eyes for a moment, but you are obviously hopelessly enthralled. I'm afraid we're going to have to restrain you."
He then looks at Relan and Levelle, "I'm going to tie him up. If he resists, kill him."
Vuloo then pulls out his hemp rope and binds the hands and feet of the dhampir.

Relan adjusts his grip for a power attack. His look dares the man to try anything.
Sorry I've been letting this drag on. My fault ... bit of work, and a bit of indecision with how I was gonna handle this situation. Let's move it along
You are able to tie up the dhampir with minimal resistance.
The doors ahead of you are locked, but not trapped.

Unwilling to let such a "dedicated" enemy remain behind to struggle against his ropes Relan renders the man unconscious as painlessly as possible while others deal with the locks.

And spell components too. Relan says with a wry smile.
