Ridic doesnt see the skull thing again, but he does note people experiencing an unseasonable chill here and there about 100 feet lagging as if something pass neared or through them.
He initially spotted it coming out of the chasm and picks up the tail half across the city
Meyanda is certainly willing to accompany you into the Lords of Rust compound when you decide to go, but note she needs about a month to complete her training so until then she is unable to.access any divine or supernatural abilities.
Also, i forgot to list the loot that was in the poltergeist's room, so am adding that to the tab now

Price 2,000 gp
Slot headband; Weight 1 lb.
Capacity 10; Usage 1/hour
An envoy’s mouthpiece is a circlet worn across the mouth, with slender arms that reach along the jaw to wrap around the wearer’s skull and hold the device in place. Two thin earpieces extend up from the band to slip unobtrusively into the user’s ears once a mouthpiece is donned. When created, an envoy’s mouthpiece is encoded with a specific single language. Whenever the language is spoken within 30 feet of the wearer, the mouthpiece translates that language into Androffan. In addition, any words spoken in Androffan by the wearer are transformed by the mouthpiece into the encoded language, allowing conversation to take place between the wearer and speakers of the encoded language. An envoy’s mouthpiece cannot be used to translate languages other than the one it has been programmed to translate, but a newly created mouthpiece could, in theory, translate languages into something other than Androffan.
An envoy’s mouthpiece automatically records any words spoken through it, allowing anything said through the device to be replayed through its earpiece at the touch of a button on the lower right side. Up to 30 continuous hours can be recorded in this manner. Holding the button down for a full round erases any currently stored conversations.

A memory facet is a length of crystal about the size of a human thumb that’s adorned at one end by a metal cap fitted with prongs and plugs. The crystal’s interior contains sparkling veins of glittering light. A memory facet is a high-capacity storage device capable of containing a staggering amount of programming. To use a memory facet, one needs
simply to insert the crystal’s connectors into an appropriate slot in an AI’s core processor or a robot under the AI’s control. A core processor or robot can hold as many memory facets as it has available slots, but at any one time, an AI can benefit from a maximum number of memory facets equal to its CR divided by 4 (minimum 1). The AI can gain the benefits of memory facets installed in any of the robots and processors it controls—where a memory facet is installed makes little difference, but most AIs prefer to keep their memory facets installed in their most secure locations.
Each memory facet contains a unique combination of emotions, knowledge, traits, and personality quirks designed to enhance and bolster an artificial intelligence’s capabilities. In rare cases, destructive memory facets were created—items intended to disable or damage an artificial intelligence in case of emergencies. An AI immediately gains all of the advantages (and any disadvantages) associated with a particular memory facet as soon as it is installed (this is a full-round action). Memory facets can change an AI’s personality or even its alignment. An AI can try to resist having a memory facet added to its code by attempting a DC 20 Will save. If the AI is successful, the memory facet ceases functioning for 1d4 rounds, and must be extracted and reinstalled to make a second attempt to changing the AI’s code. Once installed, a memory facet is difficult to remove; removing one requires either a successful DC 25 Strength check to wrench free or a successful DC 30 Disable Device check. Both attempts are full-round actions.
An inhibitor facet is unusual among memory facets in that it isn’t intended to augment an AI at all, but rather to hinder and impair its functionality. When installed, an inhibitor facet reduces an AI’s Charisma by 4 and imposes a –4 penalty on all skill checks, saving throws, initiative checks, and attack rolls. The effects of multiple inhibitor facets do not stack.
Dinaya spends most of the evening helping you identify items and then explaining to you the concepts of artificial intelligence, digital storage and software programming.
You guys have a ridiculous amount of unclaimed loot, BTW. It now exceeds the capacity of your haversack, so you'll need to distribute or leave behind items.

Meyanda *NPC* |

Resting and healing won't be a problem this evening, post newly memorized spells for the druid & wizard
Meyanda opens up to Razorend quickly, as if she had been wanting to share her discoveries.
"She is teaching me much of Brigh, and I find it fascinating. The calmness in troubling out the simplest puzzle and the joy in creating the littlest things. I find the appeal of making things over destroying them and understanding that all of us are made with flaws. I am interested in seeing if I can find those flaws in myself or those like us and find a way to improve upon where our creators fell short."

Urgeon Porpentine |

Urgeon claims the arcane items in the sack. "Is anyone going to take the pistols and grenade launcher?"

Kovax Exner |

Kovax will take the EMP Pistol, that seems to have the most usefulness out of all the loot we found. And I would still like to carry the magical battle ax.
He would wear the Ring of the Ram and put it to good use but it might be better for someone else to have it.
I am good with dropping off all the non-magical loot here. Gunslinger Pistols, Armors, ect. Also giving Meyanda the chance to take anything we have found that would work for her.

DMFflash |

In the morning, Dinaya comes in with a pile of junk and throws it at your feet.
"It appears word of your actions is getting around. Folks dropped off some hard to find parts and metals. Seems like some orcs have been exchanging first hand accounts connecting the Birdfood slaying, Smiler dismantling, and manticore disappearance with the lifting of the mist. Although Scrapwall Saviors may be a bit over the top, if I may say so myself."
Scrapworth increases by 1 more. This was a hold over from allowing the orcs to flee from the Birdfood fight that I am just now attributing
In the junk is enough inubrix to make a light weapon or 10 pieces of metal ammo

Razorend |

Razorend cannot help but smile at Meyanda's enthusiasm and progress. "Good to hear it. I felt something similar, after I had been free from the League for some time... my eyes and mind opened to the possibilities of the world. It was starkly clear how ignorant I had been as a slave. It gave me new purpose: to learn the secrets that had been kept from me, to understand what my place in Nethys's plan, and to ensure I am never enslaved by ignorance again."
"I am happy you are experiencing true freedom, at last."

Urgeon Porpentine |

Urgeon picks up the grenade launcher and straps on the bandolier of concussive grenades. He also arms himself with the pistol and mindburner. "My fellow saviors, its time for us to fully embrace this technology. With these powerful weapons, we can take control of Scrapwell and perhaps in time even challenge the Technic League."
He then holds up the grenade launcher. "So, which way do I point this thing?"

Ridic Slaranack |

Ridic will listen to the conversations, but stay largely quiet....That is until Dinya finishes speaking
"Scrapwall saviors is over the top huh....How long have these problems plagued the people of this area? How long has that mist persisted? How many tales have been spoken, lives been lost?" Ridic is clearly irritated with her dismissal of all that we have done.
Ridic is interested in the following gear
Master Work Backpack
What is this?

"Upset the balance of the gangs. Destroy things, make famous, sure. Save the city, not yet ... remove the things that were keeping the Lords of Rust in check, yes. Anarchy on the horizon I think? What will our saviors do then, I wonder."
Dinaya speaks more to the walls and her objects then she does specifically to Ridic, although it's obvious she's answering his question.
Meyanda smiles slightly at Razorend's response and then starts and puts her hand up to her mouth to feel her lips, "This may be a first ..."
Cost 2,400 gp
Type light melee; Proficiency simple; Weight 2 lbs.
Damage 1d6 (small), 1d6 (medium); Damage Type B; Critical x2
Range —; Capacity 10; Usage see text
Description
While powered down, this sturdy, 2-foot truncheon functions as a light mace. Once it is activated (this is a swift action that consumes 1 charge), a high-density power core housed in the weapon’s head generates a high-pitched whine that causes momentary disorientation in a creature struck. Each time the weapon hits a target, it consumes 1 charge and the creature struck must succeed at a DC 12 Fortitude save or suffer trauma to its central nervous system. For 1 round, a creature that fails its saving throw takes a –1 penalty on attack rolls, skill checks, and Will saving throws, as well as a –4 penalty on concentration checks. The duration of this effect stacks with multiple hits from the neural inhibitor. This is a mind-affecting effect.
Urgeon's spells and your next step?

Urgeon Porpentine |

Urgeon nods in agreement with Ridic, "We must liberate Scrapwell from the Lords of Rust and allow these people to self govern. Who are the remaining Lords of Rust and where can they be found? My friends, I recommend we move to strike down these false lords before they can move on us. I suggest we attack at dawn."
3rd—haste, haste, seek thoughts[APG] (DC 18)
2nd—create pit[APG] (DC 18), detect thoughts (DC 17), summon monster II, summon monster II
1st—enlarge person, protection vs evil, grease, heightened awareness[ACG], mage armor, silent image (DC 16)
0 (at will)—detect magic, light, prestidigitation, read magic

Kovax Exner |

Kovax is taken aback by Urgeon's comment, "We must liberate Scrapwall? I thought we were here to make sure the attacks on Torch stopped, I feel like we have almost completed that goal, the gangs are all but destroyed, the ones that are left it's because they were worth saving and I think we can work out some sort of trade with them, I don't recall our mission being that we have to save Scrapwall from itself and destroy the Lords of Rust." Kovax shrugs, "When did that become a thing?"
"I mean, I won't let our newly discovered allies be destroyed but I don't feel like it's our duty to save Scrapwall" Kovax looks around at the group, "And even if it was, what would the next steps be, go and kick in the gates of what I assume is a guarded location, wade through whatever they have waiting for us, kill everyone and then what, make ourselves the new Lords? What's the point?"
Who were the knights we left behind with at the fort, were they wanting to come here and just couldn't? If that is the case, we should go let them know that it's fairly safe for them to come in to town now

Meyanda *NPC* |

"It is Hellion who is a threat to Torch. As long as he is here, in command of the Lords of Rust, your city and your friends are at risk."
"If you haven't caught his notice, yet ... you will, soon. People come by and talk to Dinaya and while the city is abuzz with the changes, the fear of the Lords of Rust is still alive. A bit more effort, and the last of his support from the city will wither away leaving only his most devoted servants. You had mentioned wanting to destroy the receiver array. Now that you've found those explosives, you may be able to put the knockout punch to the Lords of Rust that you were looking for."

Kovax Exner |

Kovax nods at Meyanda, "I had forgotten about Hellion, you are correct of course, and I had forgotten about the receiver array as well, we should head there next and see if we can put it out of commission."
Kovax also agrees with Dinaya, "That is a valid point as well, maybe stop by the ratfolk on our way to the array"
Thanks Tike, I was at a loss as to what to do next

Urgeon Porpentine |

Urgeon nods in agreement with Kovax. "Yes, that is wise. Secure the ratfolk alliance, destroy the transmitter and then destroy these so called Lords of Rust."

Razorend |

Razorend agrees, "Let us shore up what support from the locals we can. If the Lords of Rust feel their power base shifting out from under them, they may get desperate and do something foolish. I suppose they could give up and leave, but that's unlikely."
"Either way, we should be prepared for a fight."

DM Fflash |

The Warrens
You set out south to the ratfolk lair, finding again that the intelligent members of the city recognize you and either nod in respect or move out of your way. You do find that animals and stray robots don't care about your notoriety and discover that you must still move to avoid hostile encounters with them. However, you path is generally uninterrupted and excepting the continued bizarre feeling of being watched or followed, nothing untoward happens before you arrive and are ushered through the low ceilings of Redtooth's hideout.
The ratfolk leader is obviously impressed and comes down from her throne to greet each of you in turn, her whiskers twitching, "Whiskifiss mentioned that your assault on the manticore was well organized and tactically you work well as a group. He was impressed with your effectiveness. And then to see you not only walk out alive from the mists, but to end the mystery altogether, giving the city an as yet untapped mine of metal! You've outdone yourselves! The ratfolk of Scrapwall would be honored if you would enter into an alliance with us for the betterment of the city and the end of the Lords of Rust!"
The Northwest map is the warrens if you need it for any reason
You each receive 1200xp for the alliance AND your scrapworth increases by 1. Achieving scrapworth level 8 awards each of you another 800 xp
The Receiver Array
You return to the receive array finding it nearly exactly the same as you left it.
Southwest Map ... where do you wish to go?

Urgeon Porpentine |

The Warrens
Urgeon nods and extends his hand to the ratfolk leader. "Let it be so! From here on, the Scrapwell Saviors are allied to the ratfolk. Together we shall free Scrapwell from the iron fist of the Lords of Rust."
The Receiver Array
Urgeon looks up at the building's roof. "I believe the receiver array is up there - correct? I don't recall a ladder or stair leading to the roof. Someone needs to climb up and drop a rope."

Kovax Exner |

The Warrens
Koxax smiles at Redtooth "I am sure Whiskifiss did not mention how he contributed to the death of the Manticore but let me say on his behalf, he was instrumental to our victory and I don't think we could have done it without him"
The Receiver Array
"I can use the grappling gun to get us up there if needs be. "

DM Fflash |

The Warrens
"So be it! You are welcome in and out of the warrens as needed, and if you need any specific scouting services, we will assist where able."
Receiver Array
Kovax turns on the autograpnel and aims it at a spot up on the array's wall and pulls the trigger. With a loud thwack, the spear like device flies out faster than an arrow and hits the wall with a loud crack. The adamantine head slides in smoothly and locks in place, leaving the rope behind. Kovax secures the weapon to the ground creating a taut rope to climb. (DC5 climb check)
Where are you going and what are you going to do exactly?

Urgeon Porpentine |

Urgeon scales up the wall with some effort. Once up he retrieves the cylex charges from the bag and considers how they can detonate the explosive. "We require a method to remotely activate the explosive without killing our selves in the process. Any ideas?"
Climb: 1d20 ⇒ 14
Knowledge, Engineering: 1d20 + 17 ⇒ (12) + 17 = 29

DM Fflash |

Urgeon pulls himself up to the roof and the base of the array. He looks about for a place to plant the explosives and detonate them. He is just realizing that without some sort of detonator, the party will have to apply direct damage to the explosives ... electrical in fact ... when a pair of arms shoot out from behind some nearby panels at the base of the array causing him to shout in alarm before his gasp is choked off as the supernaturally long arms and fingers wrap around his throat.
Initiative and first round actions for everyone! Does Urgeon have mage armor up? If so, take 9 points of damage, if not take 17 -- either way you are grappled and unable to speak

Urgeon Porpentine |

Yes, Urgeon would have his mage armor up if there is any chance of getting into a fight.
Init: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (10) + 10 = 20
Urgeon will attempt to break the grapple.
Break Grapple: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (19) + 3 = 22

Perception w/ Ki Boost: 1d20 + 13 + 4 ⇒ (13) + 13 + 4 = 30
Initiative: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (13) + 8 = 21
Razorend's senses tingle, spiking his awareness a half-second before the creature attacks. He leaps forward, slashing at the extended arms.

If somehow they are flat-footed, add 2d6 ⇒ (1, 1) = 2 damage...

DM Fflash |

Urgeon (from loot earlier) note the gunslinger pistols are treated as broken in the hands of anyone other than the gunslinger who made them
Surprise Round
Init: Razorend, Kovax, Chokers
Razorend leaps forward, slashing at the attacking creature and severs both its arms before it can latch on to Urgeon. Kovax climbs up. The second creature gets its arms on Urgeon, but what appeared to be a good grab is actually prevented from penetrating by Urgeon's force armor and the wizard escapes being held.
Razorend, himself is attacked twice from the nearby cracks, but the android spins out of the way of the tentacle like arms.

Razorend strikes with lightning quickness, raking his kukri back and forth across the attacking tentacle-arms.

Flurry Strike: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (4) + 9 = 13; Damage: 1d4 + 5 ⇒ (3) + 5 = 8

DM Fflash |

Round 1
Moving with lightning speed, Razorend cuts yet another time, but the creature pulls its arms back before the second strike hits home. Kovax follows up with a devastating chain slash, however, cutting the creature back in its crevasse.
@Urgeon ... you are not grappled, nor did you take damage
