ReGhostly Captain Round 1
Init: Razorend, Yurin, Urgeon, Ridic, Kovax
As if to answer Ridic, Razorend leaps to the front slashing the creature before it can move. His first swipe is turned slightly by something pushing against his blade, but his second swing cuts deeply carving through the black translucence like it was flesh.
The dark spirit reaches out to swipe at Razorend, brushing the android and reaching right through his armor sending a cold chill through him.

Ghostly Captain Round 3
Init: Razorend, Yurin, Urgeon, Ridic, Kovax
Razorend retreats to recharge as the wraith swipes at Kovax again; missing wildly as it appears to spy something beyond the wall that distracts it.
Urgeon pummels it as Ridic once again continues to miss. Kovax swings and shoots cutting through the creature and feeling some resistance, but harming the essence more than the body like Razorend did. The wraith just dodges out of the way of the fiery bullet. The creature wavers in and out of existence, its form barely being held together as wisps of black stream away from it.
Touch vs Kovax: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (1) + 8 = 9; miss
At Razorend. Note for Kovax, pathfinder incorporeal rules are slightly different. Magic weapons simply do half damage, there is no 50% miss chance like previous D&D versions
Razorend
Refocused, if still sapped of vigor, Razorend steps sideways and appears behind the phantom. He lashes out with his kukri, hoping to end the vile undead for good.
Swift Action: Ghost Hunting Blow

And with a quick teleporting strike, Razorend plunges his blade into the wraith and it quivers and shakes flashing in and out of existence before it disappears, a long sigh releasing.
There is a palpable change as the temperature in the area increases and the humidity drops significantly. The ambient light in the area raises quite a bit as you realize the sun is shining through some of the cracks and holes in the ceiling.
END COMBAT! You each receive 600xp and your scrapworth increases by 1, awarding you another 400xp for achieving level 6
A quick glance over at the remains of the wraith shows a perfectly intact full body suit of red fibers interwoven with metal. It show slight elasticity and looks to be very tight fitting. Next to the suit lies a worn yellow pistol of some sort.
Urgeon Porpentine
Urgeon sheathes his wand and walks over to examine the body. "The wraith thanked us in Androffan. Centuries of undeath in a strange land ... can you imagine?"
He examines the red fiberous suit to see if it can be removed and salvaged. He also studies the pistol before handing it to Kovax. He searches the area and detects magic.

"What do you mean, he thanked us? What did it say?"
"Urgeon, I wouldn't put your weapon away just yet, this place is strange beyond words, and these things seem to appear from anyplace"
Ridic will also investigate the suit.
DMFflash
Urgeon identifies the pistol as a timeworn mindburner
Price: 8,000 gp
Type: One-handed ranged
Proficiency: Exotic (firearms)
Dmg (M): Special
Dmg (S): Special
Critical: x2
Range 20 ft.
Capacity: 10
Usage: 1 charge
Special: Touch
Weight: 2 lbs.
A mind burner is a pistol with a dishlike adornment at the tip of its barrel. When this weapon is fired, a pulse of white smoke pools in the dish an instant before a thin beam of white light lances out to strike its target. A mind burner is silent when fired, but stray particles from the mind-altering beam can cause those nearby to catch unexpected scents associated with powerful memories—the odor of a bouquet of flowers given to one's first lover, the scent of a parent's perfume or sweat, or maybe even the odor of a favorite food that hasn't been eaten in years.
On a successful hit, a mind burner causes intense headaches that dull the senses and weaken willpower. Each hit deals 1d4 points of nonlethal damage, but also imposes a -2 penalty on Perception checks and a -1 penalty on saving throws against mind-affecting effects. These penalties stack with themselves, up to a maximum penalty of -10 on Perception checks and -5 on mind-affecting saving throws. A creature can resist the penalties caused by a shot from a mind burner with a successful DC 14 Will save; otherwise, the penalties persist for 1 hour after the previous successful shot. On a critical hit, a mind burner's penalties are doubled along with its nonlethal damage.
Requirements: Craft Technological Arms and Armor, military lab
Craft DC: 28
Cost to Create: 4,000 gp
He is unable to determine the details of the suit, but searching through it turns up two items on the inside. One is a small 2 inch by 2 inch x 1/2 in thin square of metal with a razor thin slash on the thin side that appears to be a hole of some sort.
The second item is a thin metal circlet with 2 thin extensions on either side thst reach up like slender horns or antenna. The front of the circlet is slightly thicker.

Urgeon nods at Ridic, "Indeed, we are not out of danger yet."
He explains the operation of the pistol to Kovax. "This may be useful for incapacitating someone."
He attempts to identify the circlet and metal square.

Knowledge, Engineering: 1d20 + 16 ⇒ (18) + 16 = 34

Urgeon identifies the metal square as a fully functional piece of cybertech, a skillslot
While examining the circlet, a small portion of it depresses and a voice speaks from it in Androffan.
At nearly the same time, Dalamus, looking through the red suit finds a hidden pocket and inside it discovers a small length of crystal about the size of a human thumb that’s adorned at one end by a metal cap fitted with prongs and plugs. The crystal’s interior contains sparkling veins of glittering light.
Urgeon Porpentine
Urgeon translates the androffan recording for the group. "It appears to be a final log prepared by the ship's captain. He references the mother ship - Divinity. And an 'AI' named Unity. Hmmm."
He then studies the crystal in Ridic's hand.

Urgeon shakes his head at Ridic. "Let's look at it again in the morning. I suggest we rest. These rooms seem secure enough. What do you all think?"
DM Fflash
You head back.
Everyone make a perception check
As you depart the wreck, you notice the mist is completely gone making your trek out much less ominous other than the various stashed dead bodies, items and other such things that unsavory types had apparently hidden in the mist.
As you depart the canyon, a crowd is beginning to gather around the sign. A gasp and murmur go through them as you exit and some folks point at you and whisper. As you get closer, they move backward, giving you space. A couple folks clap and one calls out, "What's your name?!"
Urgeon Porpentine
Perception: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (4) + 7 = 11
Urgeon nods at Ridic's comments and smiles. "The Scrapwall Saviors. We'll see if we can live up to that name."
DMFflash
The party is able to make it back to the Clockwork Chapel without any incident. In fact, some of the gang patrols give you an intentionally wide berth. (No more chance for random gang encounters ... other random monster encounters are still.possible)

Urgeon Porpentine
Once at the chapel, Urgeon collapses with exhaustion. "Let's regroup in the morning and figure out where we go from here."
He will rest the night and will memorize spells at dawn.
Razorend
"A skull?" Razorend twitches, looking back towards where Ridic is indicating. "I saw a floating skull in that haunted ship. It's chasing us!" He focuses his senses and tries to pick up their ghostly tail, lines across his skin glowing along with his eyes.
Perception w/nanite surge: 1d20 + 13 + 8 ⇒ (1) + 13 + 8 = 22

Urgeon will also study the area. "Yes, it sounds like a ghost of sorts."
Perception: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (4) + 7 = 11

"Where did you see the skull was it here at the Chapel or on the way back?"
Kovax will begin to study everything that we have found to date while here in the city trying to better understand the tech and just reviewing what we have heard and learned before falling asleep.
He will also check in on both Meyanda and Dinvya to see how they are doing and see if they need anything.
Meyanda may be able to join us soon as I don't think we have anything to fear from the local gangs anymore.
