Zane exhaled with relief as the second disgusting thing was put down, the color coming back to him quickly now that the monster wasn't putting off its freakish aura. He cocked an eyebrow as Kardas decided to collect some of the goop and slime, but the priest would be the first to admit he was fairly ignorant of Rashemi ways. He shrugged internally, gathering himself before the group decided to move on deeper into the complex.

"We should stick to the map, I think. Maybe try to run around some places if we think them dangerous, but mostly stick to the map."
Azarra
Okay. Do you want to be the navigator, Ishta? Tell us which way to go from the map, and we'll do it.
DM Fang Dragon
Ishta's recollection of the map proves to be perfect. You follow the winding storm drains for a fair distance before descending to the deeper sewers. The smell from below is somewhat riper, but perhaps not as bad as you feared. I does however prove to be quite a warren. The stone work is older but still in good condition, but more cramped. Rivers of effluent are bordered by thin walkways. Most of these are dry, but in some places they are slick with condensation and slime.
After a bit you come to a junction room of sorts. You have traveled quite close to the temple and you need to cross the central island and take the north east tunnel. In order to do so you need to cross several rather dubious looking bridges.
I've updated the map

The arctic fox wrinkles its nose and then abruptly stops. The animal looks at its master with eyes wide open and a split second later, Kardas halts and raises a hand, gesturing his companions to stop. "Eh, my fox friend says the sewage moved. T'could be rats, but it could also be worse."
The fox has 'scent': I take it that the sewer environment cancels out any olfactory details?

When Kardas mentioned his fox having sensed something, Zane nodded his understanding, moving up beside Ser Armithia, mace at the ready. The hope was it was just passing scavengers, but things oddly worked out that way in disgusting sewers in recently reclaimed cities with temples to evil gods in their midst.
Azarra
Warned by Kardas, Azarra is tempted to use her pipes of the sewers, but doesn't even see what the foe is yet, so she points her bow down at the water and starts to sing, hoping to be able to shoot if she sees something, or maybe cast chord of shards into the water to kill what must be sewer piranhas in her imagination.

Azarra starts singing which raises your spirits but a split second later five forms burst out of the water. Crocodiles! Big ones at that, oddly with shreds of human clothing about them... Perhaps they've been hunting anyone foolish enough to venture below?
The two at the back start chanting something guttural! Something that makes you start to fear and doubt yourself... Ser Armithia was having none of it, and he boldly stepped forwards. Bolstered by this Ishta & Zane shrug off the foul magic. Azarra and Kardas on the other hand feel their hearts sink, this was going to be a tough fight!

Azarra you went before they had broken the surface so that would need to be a readied action, which is fine.
Earlier:
Warned that something was about to surface, Azarra nocked an arrow and drew the string to her chin. There! Something was coming, she loosed but the arrow bounced off the crocodile's tough hide! These things have AC 21.
It's the weekend so I'm going to give Zane another day before boting.
Zane Levallis
Zane gasped as the croco-men seemed to be able to communicate and coordinate, then his brow furrowed in concern as the one clamped onto Azarra and started pulling her under. Putting his trust in Kardas and Ishta to help her out of the situation, he swung his mace at the beast Ser Armithia was focused on, hoping to put it out of commission and cull the enemy's numbers.

Zane's mace misses his target, but Kardas near chops the crocodile-man attacking Azarra in half with a fearsome blow. Somehow the creature manages to parry his second strike but it's reprieve was to be short lived.
Ishta west is a solid wall, you'll have to cast defensively.
Seeing the crocodile thing trying to drag Azarra into the water, no doubt to her doom, Ishta steels herself to cast her strongest battle spell. A lance of fire too bright to look at sears the crocodile thing to a crisp, it didn't even have time to scream! The air fills with the sickly sweet stench of burning flesh. Ser Armithia's sword flashes as it descends upon the croc thing menacing Zane and Ishta. Blood sprays as it bites deeply into a shoulder already brunt by Ishta but the croc-man snarls and readies to counter attack!
Modifying Azarra's round 2 action slightly.
Azarra breaths a sigh of relief when the croc-man that bit her ankle was cut down, she had visions of being pulled into the water. Unable to reach the one attacking Zane and Ishta, Azarra pulls out her bow but her hands are shaky and the arrow plunges into the sewer water instead of striking her target.

Grimacing as the waves of negative energy washed over him, his connection to the Morninglord keeping his own damage to a minimum though he felt quite a bit seep through his connection to Ser Armithia. The priest sighed quietly, wondering if he'd have to yet again prematurely sever his link to the overzealous gold elf. Kardas chomps at the bit, hoping to test the enemy with his blade. Alas the catwalk was narrow and the sewer deep and somewhat smelly.
Might be worth getting a ranged option for these occasions. I'll be happy to let you retcon having a bow or something similar. Or you could enter the water, it's 4-5' deep so no swim checks are needed. A bath would very much be needed after mind you.
Zane once more calls upon Lathandar for his aid, and yet again the sewer is bathed in the gentle light of dawn!

Now in front of Purple Can someone please move him?, the gold elf brings his bastard sword down on it.
Melee +1 bastard sword(mw): 1d20 + 9 + 1 ⇒ (5) + 9 + 1 = 151d10 + 4 + 1 ⇒ (1) + 4 + 1 = 6
So, maybe with Grappled Condition....?
Kardas Rasalas
Like a wild stallion bucking to throw off an unwanted rider, Kardas roars in anger as every fiber of his rebels against reason and wisdom. He jumps into the water and, after invoking a hastily bitten word of power, sparks start jumping off the flat of his blade. What could go wrong?
Move action: move two squares
Std action: attack purple using shocking grasp
Concentration check vs DC 17: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (18) + 9 = 27
Attack vs Purple: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (18) + 10 = 28
Damage vs Purple: 1d8 + 4d6 + 6 ⇒ (4) + (4, 6, 6, 6) + 6 = 32
In a sense, that would be round 3, but let me know if everything goes 'as planned'. If so, I'll immediately post his attacks for the 4th round. I'm home today, so should have ample time to post a reply ASAP.

Nice save, Kardas!
If Kardas' action is Round 3, than just use my Standard against Green, but same Move Action; assuming Purple is dead...lol.
Zane Levallis
Zane let out a strangled gasp of pain as the crocodilian's jaws clamped down on his leg as it began to twist, but is able to set his feet enough to resist being tripped and dragged under, for now. Seeing Ser Armithia and Kardas working hard to bring the reptilian to task for daring such a thing, once he is free of purple's vice-grip jaws, he immediately sets about calling upon Lathander's blessing to heal himself for the inevitable onslaught of dark energy.
Assuming purple is down, will burn Remove Paralysis for Cure Moderate on himself.
Cure Moderate Wounds: 2d8 + 4 ⇒ (3, 2) + 4 = 9

It's times like this when you get to know who your friends really are! Kardas takes a running jump into the filth chanting arcane words as he goes wreathed in crawling lightnings. His blade outlined by lighting crackles as it swooped down and smote the crocman with great vengeance and furious anger!
Released from the grasp of the croc by Kardas's heroics, but literally up to his neck in it, Zane called upon the blessing of Lathander. Although he couldn't see it, the worst of the bleeding stopped as some of the puncture marks closed.
Having planned to aid Zane, Ishta finds her target dead so she shoots her ray of utter cold into one of the other crocmen causing it to gasp in pain as the utter cold seared it flesh as surely as any fire.
Ser Armithia brought his sword to bear down upon the crocman, but it manages to dodge his clumsy blow.
Azarra has been concerned for poor Zane but now he seemed out of danger, she focused her fire on the one Ishta's ray had seared! Her arrow bites deeply into a bicep, which starts too ooze blood as the crocman hisses in pain!
Looking for revenge, both remaining croc-men snap and snarl at Kardas. One of them bit down with terrible force and accuracy, but it was just an image! The other flailed about to no effect.

Kardas Rasalas
Kardas once more calls upon the arcane, but the spell fizzles thanks to the combined efforts of the sewer's sludge and the violent nature of hand-to-hand combat. Regardless, the Raumathar quickly recovers and gets in a vicious swing as the remnants of the failed spell - whispers of arcane mist - dissipate into nothingness.
Full-round action: spell combat (casting Touch of Fatigue fails)(Kardas gets to make one attack with a -2 penalty)
Concentration vs DC 15 for Touch of Fatigue: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (4) + 9 = 13
Attack vs Green: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (16) + 8 = 24

Kardas tries to blend magic with swordplay but the stench of the river of filth distracts him. However his sword still struck true, opening up a long cut into the crocman!
Zane pauses, taking stock of his situation.
Ishta sends another ray of utter cold into the fray, once more searing the westernmost crocmen.
Ser Armithia attacks his target but the wily crocman dodges aside.
It's a bit like shooting fish in a barrel for Azarra, her arrow bites deeply into Ishta's target. He curses her in a foul tongue and charges! Quick as a flash Kardas and Zane whip around and attack the unprotected back of the crocman but both hit naught but air. Azarra managed to step aside at the last moment dodging the crocman's bite.

The remaining crocman on the bridge focuses once more on Kardas but the young Raumathai was too nimble by far, even slowed down by the filth.
