Well if we need it hopefully it pops up again, or we can retreat to find some if needed.
Graxton would buy...
Wand of cure light = 150 gp, thus 10 charges
Wand of lesser vigor = 315 gp, thus 21 charges
(lesser vigor lasts for 10 rounds +1 round/level, thus 11 rounds, giving the target fast healing 1 for the duration.)
Healer's kit (1)= 50 gp
Alchemist fire (2) = 40 gp
flask of acid (2)= 20 gp
holy water (2) = 50 gp
tanglefoot bag (1) = 50 gp
Can't, for the life of me, find any reference to Lesser Vigor as a Pathfinder spell. Can you find a link please? I see it as a 3.5 spell, but nowhere in the PFRPG canon.
I do have Graxton down for the rest of the stuff however.
lesser vigor is a 3.5 spell from the Spell Compendium or Complete Divine.
Cleric 1, Druid 1
Components: V, S
Casting Time: 1 standard action
range: touch
Target: Living creature touched
Duration: 10 rounds +1 round per level (max 15 rounds)
Saving Throw: Will negates (harmless)
Spell Resistance: Yes (harmless)
If you choose to be strictly Pathfinder I will just add the charges to the CLW wand.
It's easier for my record-keeping to stick with PF stuff. I'll bump up your charges to the CLW wand to 30 which makes the value 450gp, or close to the combined of the two you listed.
Just realised that arcane training is only with arcane spells, not inquisitor, so I have changed it to wizard. Will adjust my charcters skills accordingly (favoured class is now Wizard).
OK, I got rid of acrobatics (more of a ranged character anyway). I'll leave the acrobatics to Lazlo.
In terms of back story, I will simply have it that Malik sent him first to be apprenticed as a Wizard, but it didn't work out (not high enough INT), though he was diligent enough to be able to pick up wand and scroll work.
Crux will purchase
- 150gp to Graxton to aid in purchase of a wand of cure light wounds.
- 100gp 2 potion of cure light wounds
- 50gp 2 scroll of expeditious retreat
- 50gp 2 scroll of icicle dagger
- 50gp 2 scroll of enlarge person
OK, who gets to carry the wand? I would suggest someone other than Graxton, as he has spells. Last thing we need is for him to be incapacitated and someone bleeds to death while we are rummaging around trying to find it. Both Kalvin and Marnos can use one. Or we could buy a couple with a few charges and share them.
Marnos is happy with either location, though the Inn might be easier for Crux. The barracks enables us to hear all the rumours the guards will be bringing in, though the Inn would enable to hear rumours from the city. he will go with party preference.
I believe it's +1 higher than normal for carrying capacity. I will note the additional charges to first wand and purchase of second wand with 7 charges.
Graxton would offer the wand to the group, whoever speaks up first he would hand it to them, telling them the command word and that there is seven charges left in it.
Marnos (uncharacteristically) speaks up. Kalvin could use it it, but he is more likely to be be in combat when it is needed, so Marnos thinks he should have the wand.
"That makes sense here you go Marnos, and if I am out cold once more by an alligator or other large creature, my wand is right here strapped to my shield." Pointing it out to Kalvin and Marnos for future reference if needed then handing the wand to Marnos.
Male Human Paladin 3 | HP 21/28 | 20ft | AC 17 | T 11 | FF 16 | F +6 | R +4 | W +6 | INIT +3 | PERC +4 | SMITE 1/1 | LOH 3/3 1d6+2
Kalvin can't use it. We had both an inquisitor and a cleric when we started, so I took the non-casting Paladin archetype and matched with with an oath of Vengeance, which technically I don't think is RAW because Oath of Vengeance gives you extra spells and Warrior of the Holy Light takes spells away, but JJ has said that they should work, but PFS doesn't accept it, because it would open up the crossblooded wildblooded mixes.

Sorry, I'll post tonight I said in the game post I have a plus 7, it's actually a plus 8 to gather information. I'll read it all over on the rain and post ic so that I can actually say something relevant.
I feel stupid. I'm supposed to be a Bounty hunter, but I didn't put any ranks in Diplomacy and so I'm useless at gather information. No wonder i am near starvation. perhaps I should have got survival next level (when I get tracking) and Diplomacy this.
Fair enough. For the most part, he would have relied on his mentor for that part of things until now, so has not really invested in a skill he is not comfortable with.
Note to self: get Intimidate, too! (so many skills!)
OK, there is obviously something going on here since people don't normally walk into a butchers shop and then walk out empty handed. What business does it really involve?
Should we go in on the pretext of buying some meat or something. I'm cautiously in favour; Lazlo and I can probably pull this off, especially if Lazlo does all the talking, while I look for signs of guards or anything else.
Regarding money, though you probably don't need me to tell you, you are a noble. You don't carry the money around with you, tell them you will send a servant (or your "man") with the money later. Ask them if they want it in gems or gold.
So, we have some possible routes of attack. The first is that 2 of us pose as couriers come to pay Lazlo's fee while the others use the distraction to break in on the second floor, and then we attack from 2 fronts. The Second is we all climb in through the second floor.
The third is that we just charge in through the front. There are 4 of them so it should not be too difficult.
Do we actually have a plan? Graxton is hiding in the alley awaiting a signal, Kalvin is lingering presumably also awaiting the signal, Laszlo is hiding in the alley, Crux has cast mage Armor. Am I supposed to hold off 4 men, keep the door unlocked and send a signal by myself, or are some of us creeping in through the second floor? What exactly is going on?
Is it worth ambushing them to see what they know about this guy? If it's agreed, I'll cast a light for them to see by. Otherwise, I'll have to give them the slip when they go to do the job.
