Its a pain to post on things besides PCs and laptops in my opinion.
Good thing I took all of Barvasi's gear, if he decides to fight anymore he'll have no armor or weapons, also you could have tied Barvasi up before you healed him you would have got an automatic 20 on that check because he was unconscious.

I am enjoying it, even though I am being ignored. Graxton likes being ignored. ;)

OK, party order:
Obviously Lazlo is at the front, scouting. I suggest that Kalvin should be next, where he can rush up to help Lazlo if he gets in trouble. Third should be me, to provide ranged support, fourth Crux where he can be shielded and lastly Graxton in case we get attacked from behind.
Is that acceptable?
Graxton Soth |
I am fine with it. Cleric holding the back ready to heal with the few spells he has left.
Gavmania |
That was my fault. I hadn't realised it had been suggested, so I didn't include him in the party order.
If I may, I suggest that he be between Crux and Marnos, with Crux holding his leash. He should be gagged and have his hands bound, and kept on a short leash (so that he doesn't try to Bull Rush someone).
Gavmania |
I think we need to resolve this. If we can't find someone willing to hold his Leash, we are going to have to leave him behind or kill him. I know I'm not willing to hold his leash as I would need 2 hands free to use a bow, Lazlo is going to be scouting; if Crux isn't going to do it then It would have to be Kalvin or Graxton, both of whom would be better off if they were ready for combat...all in all, if Crux isn't going to do it, then we should leave him behind.
Alternatively, we could make him go in everywhere first. If there is a trap, he would know how to avoid it, and potential enemies would not be able to attack us with him in the way. Then it would make sense for Kalvin to have his leash.

Ehhhhh spiders..

Welcome back.
Speaking of classes, I've looked through the Advanced Class Guide again a few days back, I don't know why, it only makes the wait harder for the book does, but it made me decide that if I do find an opportunity to put Lazlo in a second game, I am definitely giving him the investigator class.
Graxton Soth |
I am sorry I have been out of the loop, lots of pain and sleep as my sciatic nerve is inflamed.
Welcome back Dax, I hope to be active even though I am trying to recover.
Yeah Lazlo, investigator would suit him well. :)
Graxton Soth |
The psudeodragon would not be his familiar yet, there still needs to be a ritual! :)
It would still be a NPC right now, unless they determined otherwise in private messages.
Starting with a purse of 1,000 gp, 100 gp for the thug, leaving us with... 900 gp, I would suggest a wand of cure light wounds, say 10 charges being 150 gp. Everyone have MC weapons? Perhaps some scrolls or an offensive wand for Crux? Suggestions?
Leaving Barvasi with about 4 grand to get back at us with... Let alone his contacts in the underworld. He is a scourge that we will need to deal with later, for the sake of the city, once he strikes again.
Lazlo Verrgaio |
Don't forget it isn't just 900 gp, we've got all the weapons and armor we looted of the thugs bodies and Barvasi's own equipment. I am assuming we left the stuff we found in the chest alone as per Kalvin's post.
Oh and I don't have a masterwork weapon yet....I know, don't look at me I am hideous ;)
Okay we've all had 278.4 added to our pockets before...except for Marnos who spent it on getting a better bow.
Anyway this is what we looted of Barvasi and his goons after the battle:
1) MWK bladed gauntlets
2) MWK Hand Crossbow
3) 20 bolts
4) 2 small metal keys
5) one clear potion
6) one light blue potion
7) one vial of viscous milky white substance
8) 6 chainmail suits
9) 6 longswords
10)120gp
Crux identified the potions as follows:
Potion of Invisibility
Potion of Cure Moderate Wounds
Spider Venom, 5 doses.
The masterwork bladed gauntlets should fetch a nice price, and so will the hand crossbow if no one wants it and if no one wants any of the 6 chainmails or 6 longswords then they should fetch a hefty amount as well, also lets not forget the 120 gp that brings our gold before selling all this stuff to 1020 gp.
Oh and Graxton, loved your goodbye to Barvasi.
Gavmania |
Yeah, you beat me to it, lol.
Marnos would probably prefer to eliminate the spider venom, unless there's someone who can use it.
Lazlo could probably best use the potion of invisibility. I would suggest Kalvin gets the potion of cure moderate. The rest we sell and distribute amongst all players, unless there is something that someone particularly wants.
Graxton Soth |
I had fun!
I will get to calculating...
1020 gp, 45 gp for the longswords, 450 gp for the chainmails, 450 for the MW weapons = 1965 gp
Spider venom ??? Sells for?
Keep the potions! Invisibility for either of our stealth guys and the cure potion for the other. At least my suggestion.
Gavmania |
Yes, we do, but the question was raised as to whether we buy another (one is nearly out), and also whether we buy anything else. I can use an arcane or divine wands and scrolls. If there is anything that would help the group in combat (e.g. Silent Image, Enlarge Person) that Crux can't cast (because he's casting Grease or somesuch), it makes sense to buy it out of communal funds.
The way I see it, we get enough Battlefield control out of Crux's Grease spell for now (if you all disagree I would suggest getting a wand of Silent Image), what we need is some Buffs, so a wand of Bless or Enlarge Person for example.
Graxton Soth |
Sorry meds are messing with my head.
Laz, Graxton, Maronos, Kalvin, Crux and communial.
So how much does an enlarge or bless wand with 10 charges cost?
Graxton Soth |
Graxton will get a wand of cure light (10) from his own funds.
Why don't we get a wand of bless (10) and enlarge (10)?
Leaving Graxton to add 393-150= 243 to his total
And the communal 393-300= 93 to its total
Graxton Soth |
It's alright, he is a bit paranoid now, not much else to do with his funds until he can get a magical shield or armor, since a boost to Chrisma is far away.
