Graxton Soth |
Sorry guys, RL has reared its ugly head once more. Work, commitments, and trying to get enough sleep has occupied much of my time, then the holidays and birthdays explode!
Alas, I am sorry for my absence and I hope to be on much more now.
What you talking about, Graxton is ready for anything, especially undead! ;)

Had a PM from Graxton saying he needs to withdraw from the game for personal reasons, his RL issues are squeezing out his posting time. With his withdrawal and the quick disappearance of Nymrael, that leaves us with just 3 players.
Based on the slow movement (most of which is my fault truthfully) I am more than half-tempted to pull the plug on this game. I know I could use the time more effectively myself.
Any serious objections? If so, we'll need to go recruit at least one more player, if not two, but my luck with replacement players recently has been terrible.
Give it some thought. I am about 75% mind made up to fold at this point. I might be more interested in starting a different story line with new characters rather than propping up this game.

Yeah, I have enjoyed this game and would be disappointed to see it go, but it has become rather slow; I can understand why you would want to pull the plug on it.
If we do decide to continue, I suggest Braxton dies to the Owlbear skeleton, we go back to town for supplies and Nyramel is called away to another job (or has personal business elsewhere). We can then pick up recruits there.

I will keep it going for the time being, but more defections and I will likely fold for real. Not sure if Kalvin is still around either...
I will post a notice in the Recruitment thread, and if we ever finish the combat with the Owlbear, you can go back and supply up and perhaps find some new mates.
Please help screen any candidates, or if you have good players from other games that want to cross over, those might work out better than an open call.

The re=recruitment thread i re-opened is linked here. Please review the 4-5 characters who have been submitted and tell me if you think they will work. Or who your favorite(s) is/are.
Once we have found 2 suitable replacements we will be off again. They can work out some of the details after having been chosen.
If this is going to work, I'd like your feedback. If you don't want to post here, you can PM me.
Thanks!

I have invited Travigan Frost to join and will also invite Tiny Tina (the alchemist). If they accept, we will have them post here. They should be added back to Citadel Volshyenek, and we will say good bye to Crux, who was just to injured to continue, and Nyramel, who just got scared and ran off.
Hopefully, this works out and we keep the thread active!
EDIT: Yes Crux can stay. Graxton must leave, and leave now!
DM DoctorEvil |
Glad to have you both aboard. The party should be leaving the scene fo their latest combat to return to the HQ of the Korvosan guard looking for more reinforcements. Tell us (in the game if you like) how your character was "drafted" into Field Marshal Croft's irregulars, like the party.
Hope you enjoy your time here. I will be reviewing your builds in detail and will send any questions here that I find.
TinyTina |
Tina has been a frequent sight at the temples of Sarenae and Pharesa ever since she managed toe scape the clutches of Lamm several years ago. Her developing alchemy skills were honed by classes in the academy and practice stitching wounds and developing treatments for those who come to the temples for aid. With the recent troubles from the riots, Tina has been kept very busy tending to the soldiers who have gone out to restore order and has caught the eye of Marshal Croft who convinced to Lend her skills to the Irregulars.
Dax Thura |
Appearance: Crux is rather tall and thin with a piercing stare. He keeps himself covered as much as possible in an effort to hide the wounds that remain on his face and body from Lamm's depredations. He has a noticeable limp from that last beating as well (though it does not hamper his movement).
Crux and Tina could be familiar with one another. He was disfigured by Lamm and wraps himself in bandages. Crux could have been tended to by her in the past.

My apologies to everyone.
We went down to see family last weekend, during which I was starting to get a cold. The cold, however, was walking pnemonia, which wouldn't have been so bad, but on my way up we received word that my aunt passed away and have returned to be with family til the funeral. I'm sorry I'm so behind, I will catch up this week, but until them please continue to dmpc me.

Crux, if you're going to lean on your magic missiles for most of the fight, it might be worth readying the wand for when the derro terd starts casting a spell. You'll still get your damage in and it'll also force a concentration check from him to finish his spell.
I should've done the same with my throwing axes =\

Hush! You're dead!

Hi guys.
So just as I said I was going to be back, tragedy struck again. For those in the U.S., I'm not sure if you heard about the small plane crash in Illinois right after the NCAA tournament, but one of the individuals flying it was a long time family friend and another was the cousin of one of my best friends. Needless to say it's been a rough April for me thus far.
My apologies for all the delays.
