" Alright, looks like we can only send up two people at a time. Thrall with one, Tardic, mouted on Knave, on the other she says taking the palm sized silver scale from a belt pouch, and nodding to Kelden, waiting for him to cast his spell on Taedric, before they activated the scales in unison. "Hit hard and fast! Remember we won't be able to hear you so signal when the guards have been taken out."

Resting her hand on Sapphira's shoulder she waits a moment for the other woman's mind to touch her own before relaying her thoughts.

"I can do this with the scale thrice within a day, so once they're on the bridge I'll send you up next if you want."

Knowing the absolute absence of words could disturb the using of magic, or at least to his knowledge, Thrall waits until he starts to levitaqte before using his silence oration.


Silently, Taedric (plus Knave) and Thrall levitate to the top of the wall.
There they can see the enemy demon sentries casually yacking with each other.

Thrall extends his toes to try to reach the ground and run. He makes no noise, protected by the Silence spell, and ends up among the three guards, capitalising from their surprise.

I hope they're still flat-footed and have no Dex nor AoOs... otherwise, that's gonna hurt :P

He swings his sword from High to low, almost cutting one of the guards in half, and launches a second blow upwards again, immediately adopting a fighting stance to finish the remaining opposition.

It looks like there's a charge lane against the back wall if I go against the southers group.. That I miss the catapult.

Taedric draws his lance and nudges his furred companion, the two rushing forward with a single mind, even as he releases the celestial power in his blood, allowing it to sing and give him strength.

Ok, so, bloodraging (free), spending mythic point to activated Mounted Marshal, which doubles charge (so x4 total, thanks to Spirited Charge and the lance)

+1 Lance: 1d20 + 18 ⇒ (11) + 18 = 29 for 4d6 + 36 ⇒ (4, 3, 4, 6) + 36 = 53 Plus Good: 1d6 ⇒ 1 And Fort DC 24 or staggered for 2 rounds.


Round 1 completed.

Thrall's charge attack almost kills one outright, and his mythic follow up makes it explode in a cloud of smoke, sparks and bloodspatter.

Taedric's charge almost kills his opponent, and definately leaves him staggered for a little while.

All in complete silence

He touched her with the scale and lifting her up as she lifted Sapphira up.

Taedric duplicated Thrall’s efforts, killing Brimorak two and three at the same time as Thrall, splashing more burning blood about.

(npc) Grey free climbed up the side of the Citadel to the parapet.

Brimorak4 ran up and threw a fireball to exploded among Taedric, Thrall and Knave. Damage is 10d6 ⇒ (5, 4, 5, 5, 5, 5, 6, 6, 6, 5) = 52, Ref save DC16 for half damage.

Brimorak5 ran up and threw a fireball to exploded among Grey, Kelden, Alorah and Sapphiria. Damage is 10d6 ⇒ (3, 1, 5, 2, 6, 3, 1, 4, 2, 2) = 29, Ref save DC16 for half damage.

Brimorak6 ran up and stabbed at Grey with a flaming longsword.

Okay, now I realise I went for the wrong group, thinking Taedric had gone for the northern ones. And now we've got a mess of a combat because of my misunderstanding. Sorry, guys.

I think we're both guilty - just that south was the only one with a charge lane. The seige engine blocks the nothern ones.

I assume the fire blood damage happens before the communal protection?

Reflex (Taedric): 1d20 ⇒ 20 Seems a waste of a 20.
Reflex (Knave): 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (12) + 7 = 19 Evasion, so no damage

Question before I resolve my action -- lances are reach weapons, so I could theoretically charge to and attack from where I put Taedric on the map -- but can the lance "go through" the empty square *next* to Thrall, or does he being there stop the charge? (Or does Taedric go before Thrall so we can both tear it up?)

I think i an the only person left on the ground with gray climbing up.... If there is anyone else he would either motion for Alorah to levitate them.... or he would levitate them himself and wait for her to grab him or a rope to be tossed down to climb up

He saw the fiery explosion up above and his whole body jerked. it was weird seeing the fireball but not really hearing the whoomph of it due to the spell. His friends were up there, they probably needed healing. He levitatied himself up and when he felt that most of them were in range he gripped his holy symbol and channeled positive healing energy into his friends.

Now in the midst of the fray, Sapphiria quietly holds her shield up and calls on divine energies to aid the team.

Cast prayer to give everyone the usual +1 luck bonus to attacks, saves, skill checks, and weapon damage rolls. Enemies get -1 to the same. There is no save, but SR applies.

From your position you can attack past Thrall with a reach weapon. I think Thrall would provide a +4 cover AC to the target, but you can still attack him.

I'm sure there's a Feat that would allow you to ignore an Ally when attacking as well.

Yeah, You got hit by the same one as me (29) so 9 damage after communal resist energy. That spell was a life saver! Factoring in Kelden's healing, you're back to full.

Ok, so having made my save, the resist energy does all the hard work for me. 10 damage only (and 4 to Knave). Excellent.

Alorah, I think it's just that the map is huge, and doesn't center on us. Zoom all the way out and you should be able to find a small patch of stuff that isn't black.

The feat you're looking for here is probably phalanx formation.

He levitatied himself up and when he felt that most of them were in range he gripped his holy symbol and channeled positive healing energy into his friends. Heals allies 17.

While prone, the Brimorak kicked at Kelden twice, hitting him once for 7 bludgeoning and 5 fire damage. Choking smoke surrounded Kelden.

With Kelden still levitating, he is unable to be knocked prone.
He still took the damage from one attack (attack roll 24 for 7 bludgeoning and 5 fire (which goes away)). There is no second attack then.

Question - if I take a move action, can I then use amazing initiative to get a second standard and use that to charge? Or does the standard from Amazing not downgrade to a move as needed?
