Half-Orc Barbarian 1

Brow furrowed in confusion Krathok does nothing, but take a step back from the fray and translate the words of the orcish speaker through the collective.

Besides killing the soldier standing next to Orion, the fireball also burns off the mysterious fog within it's radius, revealing the actual officer of this group of soldiers standing amid the remains of his squad. The fire seems to have done nothing more to him than leave his cloak slightly smoldering. He is clearly trying to find the source of the fireball which just obliterated his squad.

Quodak plants a bolt of force in his opponent's shoulder, the impact tears away layers of furs, revealing the creature to be merely a half-orc wrapped in layer upon layer of fur.

The Half-dragon officer looks at Orion and begins to shout something, but is interrupted by a huge ice and rock colored bird swooping into view from the fog above, trailing mist behind it, and arrows towards Orion with it's claws outstretched, grabbing the man and clearly preparing to wrench him into the sky. If you have a readied attack, you can take it now. You also get an AoO as it initiates a grapple. Then you are grappled.

Orion's turn.

DM Rolls:

Miss Chance:1d100 ⇒ 80
Grapple:1d20 + 11 ⇒ (14) + 11 = 25

As Quodak sees that the figure underneath is a half-orc like Krathok, he sends through the link, ::Please, tell him to stop! Maybe he'll listen to you!::

Half-Orc Barbarian 1

Raising an eyebrow momentarily in confusion Krathok turns to the shaggy one

Orcish:
"Stop cousin, he and we are not your enemies"

Orion is going to slash at the thing with his claws (AOO) and try and jump on it's back. Orions wings unfurl as he catches the breeze to aid his leap.

AOO 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (3) + 7 = 101d4 + 4 ⇒ (1) + 4 = 5

Acrobatics to jump 1d20 + 20 ⇒ (16) + 20 = 36

CMB to grapple 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (11) + 7 = 18

I think those are the necessary rolls.

Orion, I'm not sure what you are trying to do, since after your AoO, you are grappled by the bird, so you can't really jump anywhere.

The half-orc attacking Quodak hears Krathok and raises his iron club, hesitating and looking to his axe wielding companion for guidance.

Hulle nie! Die jakkalse! the axe wielder shouts, and gestures towards Orion and the squad commander. He bows his head for a moment, casting a spell and projects a spectral axe, which hacks at Orion.

The rest of DM's turn coming once I get the clarification from Orion.

Orc:
Not them! The dragons!

DM Rolls:

Attack:1d20 + 7 ⇒ (5) + 7 = 12

I misunderstood what was happening. I'm going to AOO it then attempt to break the grapple (rolled an 18) and climb on top of it. It's a big bird, right. Basically I'm trying to reposition so I am behind it's head between it's wings. Holding on for dear life to the creatures neck feathers. Once up there I'll see what to do. Either choke it or crack it in the back of the head. Whatever's easier.

Orion readies an action to jump up to and on the creature should it get close enough.

I think this is what he's trying to do, Caleth.

The next round, he readied an attack though. Orion, you can take your readied attack too.

Orion twists and strains against the talons holding him, but cannot escape. The bird merely grips tighter with it's supernaturally cold claws and lifts Orion off the ground, presumably in preparation to drop him as it did with the draconic soldiers. Little does the bird know... Orion also takes 4 points of cold damage.

DM Rolls:

Orion Grapple:1d20 + 11 ⇒ (6) + 11 = 17
Bird Grapple:1d20 + 12 ⇒ (15) + 12 = 27
Damage:1d6 ⇒ 4

On the next turn I want to turn and grab the bird's leg above the claw and prepare to climb up it when it tries to drop me.

Was anyone else going to do anything this round?

Male Human Soulbolt 4

Holding action until we get the whole who's who out of the way.

To be honest I still don't have a clear picture of exactly what's happening still. May be that I'm just being dense.
