"Hvað er allt þetta? Ég get ekki hefur þú að taka byrðarnar mína fyrir mig. Ekki gera þetta sjálfur, ég get séð um sárin bara fínt."
His eyes go from Krathok's bruises back to his eyes, a genuine look of concern on his face.

As the attendants hurry forth again, this time to pile tinder around the wooden stakes. One of the four huge doors which ring the arena opens and guards emerge to escort you back down into the bowels of the structure. From the opposite side of the arena more guards escort a group of unarmed prisoners clad only in loin cloths into the arena. As you exit, you see that the attendants re binding these prisoners to the stakes, probably to be burned as lunchtime entertainment for the dragons.

The guards lead you as a group through the door and down a flight of stairs. As the door closes behind you, you hear a hushed silence from the arena and the sound of enormous wing beats, landing on the sand.
You are in what appears to be a staging area of the arena. In front of you is a large, but low ceilinged hallway, presumably leading to the better cells. You are surrounded by guards, but you can make out two guards pushing a cage of screeching birdlike animals, presumably getting it in place for the afternoon's entertainment.

As you are lead along, you can hear from the arena above you a thunderously loud voice which seems to even shake the earth. It is speaking draconic, but the words are indestict from the volume and distance.
Suddenly, the door of the cage containing the dinosaurs opens and they leap out at the guards pushing the cage. Before the other guards can react, the guards in G11 and E6 sprout daggers from the front of their chests in bursts of flame as cloaked figures appear behind each of them. The guard in G11 falls, but the guard in E6 only had the dagger pierce his shoulder and staggers but turns on his asailant.
The guard in K10 screams and catches fire. You can see that it is from a bolt of flame hurled from the hand of the cloaked figure standing directly in front of your path.
Erie, you may also act in the surprise round, as you made the perception check. Everyone please roll initiative.

Well, I guess that has a nice symmetry to it...
If we are still armed, Erie will draw her bow and take a 5-ft step (non-action) to H11. If unarmed, she will still take a 5-ft step to H11, but will pick up whatever weapon the guard in G11 once held.

            Just asking for clarification:
This is happening on the way to the cells just after we left the arena. Since we were given our weapons at the cells before being taken to the arena, I assume we still have them? Nor are we bound or restrained in any fashion, other than being surrounded by guards with nasty sharp pointy things. Is that the situation?
Also, what are these guards armed with? We've seen both swords and long spears.

You still have your weapons, although they are not drawn, and you are not restrained yet, only escorted by sword weilding guards.
Combat breaks out in the basement room as the thunderous voice in the arena continues speaking over the screaming of those being burned, preventing the sound of your combat from carrying too far.
Quodak's bolt takes the guard in K10 in the shoulder as he tries to put out the flames on himself, succeeding in patting them out frantically.
The guards in the room to the right, each run out to try to stop the escape in progress, and the doors open to reveal another human guard and a half-dragon who appears to be in charge.
The guards pushing the cage shout in surprise as they are set upon by hungry and angry dinosaurs.
The guard in H9 seems to have his wits about him and rund forward caching both Krathok and Erie off guard and slamming them into the wall of the passage. Krathok and Erie are now prone, having been bullrushed into the wall.
The guard behind Orion attempts to sweep Orion's legs out from under him, but Orion is able to step out of the way.
The last two guards engage the rogues who have just appeared, eh of whom nimbly dodges the swing aimed for them.
Krathok stands up, but as he pushes himself off the floor, the guard standing over him delivers a nasty slash to the back of his head and shoulders.
Kjolmar's strikes glance off the guard's armor as he rushes past.
As Orion charges, the guard behind him slashes hima cross the back with hos short sword. 4 damage to Orion
The two rogues each strike back at the guards they are fighting. The attack against the guard in F13 is turned aside by his armor, but the guard in E6 gets his throat slashed clear across and falls, flames licking the edges of the wound.
Another cloaked figure appears in F2 as a jet of flame plays across the guards and dinosaurs locked in combat.
The other spellcaster, moves away from the guard in front of him to grab the cart of equipment abandoned by the attendant as soon as spells started being cast. Snel, kom met ons mee voordat de rest van de bewakers te komen. He says in your general direction.
Erie I assume that you want to stand up and take the same shot.

Yes, Erie will stand and take the shot at the guard now occupying H11, but disregard the planned 5-ft step. She's fine where she is.

Erie, you shot hit, but you did not get you skirmish damage since your movement was forced.
No, I was targeting the guy in H11 - the guy who bullrushed Krathok and me. He's well clear of the spell.

The guard in B10 charges at Kjolmar, attempting to throw him off balance, but miscalculates the dwarf's stocky frame.
The one of the guards beset by dinosaurs goes down, as the deinonychus begins feeding on him.
The guard in N9 rushes up to Quodak, and does not attack, but menaces him.
