She can be a "regular" if she wants, but Zileska is not and likely never will be an exclusive partner, given her line of work.

Bonus: A PC can sometimes leverage her persona to gain a bonus on a skill check. Once per persona phase, a PC can apply a skill bonus to a single check for one of the facets in which she has at least 3 Ranks. She can apply this bonus after rolling her skill check, but before the results are announced. The exact skills to which this bonus can be applied depend upon the facet (see below). The skill bonus begins at +2 and increases to +4 when she has 7 Ranks in the appropriate facet. For example, a PC with 7 Ranks in Heroism and 3 Ranks in Subterfuge can grant herself either a +4 bonus on an Intimidate or Perform check or a +2 bonus on a Disable Device or Stealth check, but she can still gain only one bonus per phase.

Yeah, but in the Developing Persona section, the last sentence:
Effects that boost PCs’ skills and abilities apply only if their duration is at least 24 hours.
EDIT: That's why I didn't spend Inspiration the roll - Inspiration only boosts a single roll, doesn't last for 24 hours.[/ooc]
But the bonus is once per persona phase, and a persona phase is defined as:
"PCs leverage their influence in periods called persona phases, which are abstract representations of time spent building up their reputations or directing their agents to complete missions on their behalf. These phases take place separately from normal gameplay; a player typically makes all related decisions at the start of each persona phase, and those decisions stay in effect until the start of the next persona phase."
It makes no sense to say that you get this bonus once per persona phase, but that it is useless for persona phase rolls.
Ah, okay. I thought it meant in the sense of "once per period between persona phases".

I believed it to be as Maria was saying as well. I think a flat bonus would be a bigger and more worthwhile reward, IMO, without being gamebreaking

Incidentally, the ridiculous armor is because it has the glamered property, so it is actual armor that can appear as a normal outfit - in this case a courtesan's outfit of absurd boob-plate.

Meant to ask; how much would the financial split change if we kept the coffee and Melodie got the headband of intellect? I haven't added that onto Maria's sheet yet (though I'll add the 100 plat we got from Eutropia now because that was 100 each and I don't see that changing due to changes in loot).
My persona ranks are full, so I'm sending out agents to find rumors or something. Whatever they find interesting, or whatever.

Ok, so, it's time to found Zileska's School for Wayward Girls.
(Not quite really.)
I'm going to start leveraging the downtime rules to build a finishing school and academy in Stachys, where young men and women can be sent to boarding school to learn etiquette, history, literature, and so on.
It is, of course, also a recruiting tool, but that's beside the point.
While most such academies are for the wealthy elite and children of nobles who are being groomed for a good marriage, this one will also sponsor a small number of scholarships, so that youngsters from less affluent families who show some potential can be housed and educated and then introduced into society as people of quality. Probably a good precursor to landing a government appointment or becoming a famous artist.
For now I start with 3 minor cohorts, so I was thinking:
1 aristocrat (administrator/teacher)
1 bard (instructor in etiquette, history, dance, singing, arts)
1 cleric (backup disciple/lower level cleric to take care of day-to-day business at the shrine and the teaching of various Calistrian philosophies)
As I gain levels I will get more recruits, which will allow me to add a groundskeeper, guard, etc. to the school.
I'll start doing the research on using the downtime system to build the school itself. As a fun aside, if I do it right, it should provide us with a nice RP angle AND make a little trickle of extra money on the side.
