You don't need a knock spell, just thrown the dwarf at the door. He'll get through eventually.

Female Human (Varisian) Bard / 6

"Let's go around and see if there's another way in. I'm loathe to knock on the front door if we can avoid it."

Yeah, busting in that door would alert anyone inside. I do have a rope and grappling hook. I could climb up to that balcony and then pull everyone else up.

Master of Gaming and Grognardia Current map

As I meant when Curnach asked, but clearly didn't explain explicitally, there is no entrance apart from those doors as seen by the picture below. Also meant to offense to Krenn as that is another way to get in, but then again remembering the rolls when trying to get into those doors outside the ship...yeah climbing would be a better idea. :)

outside of the Manor

Then if no one has a different course of action, Krenn will take out his rope and grappling hook. He'll pull out a spare shirt and wrap it around the tines of the hook to try and muffle its impact. Then he'll throw it over the balcony railing and climb up.

Climb 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (13) + 7 = 20

Once he is up, he'll either aid other or pull up the rest of the team.

balcony

This is what Krenn sees whilst up there. The windows like below have curtains closed. There are two doors up here and the balcony is only 5ft wide so if you enter only one person would be able to enter the room at a time.

HP 133/133, AC 26/14/23 CMD 22, F +13, R +10, W +17, P +22, In +11

Before Krenn goes up the balcony, Curnach casts Longstrider on him (+10 movement speed for 5 hours, not reduced by armour obviously for you) and picks up three pebbles, whispering and coaxing the stones with his magic. Before long they glow a soft blue. Finally, he casts Guidance on the group (+1 to a roll in the next minute).

Ready.

Curnach takes 10 climbing the rope, giving him a total of 6.

Might need a hand...

Male Human Wizard (FC) 13 - Enchanter

Jerin looks at the climb and sniff's, Wizards don't climb... he mumbles to himself.
Casts fly from Bonded Item, Arianna, would you like a lift up?

Female Human (Varisian) Bard / 6

Extending her hand, she thanks Jerin "This is much more civilized than climbing and less chance for someone to peek up my skirts, eh"

HP 133/133, AC 26/14/23 CMD 22, F +13, R +10, W +17, P +22, In +11

Curnach clears his throat loudly as he slips half-way up the wall for the third time in a row. He folds his arms and looks ats Jerin pointedly.

Male Human Wizard (FC) 13 - Enchanter

Curnach, just remember it is ladies first! grinning at Curnach. He then would assist him up. He then just floats a few inches off the ground.
Hover is a DC 15 and I have a +9 to my skill right now, yes he has been practicing, takes a 10.

Fly lasts a minute per level, I assume you come down to lift Curnach too. Also now that you've been flying, will you be wearing a red cape and a blue suit with a large S on the chest? :p Sorry watching too much Lois and Clark.

Yes bring Curnach up. Have Krenn check the door and enter once we are all up.

There are two doors up there and both appear to be unlocked. Just like on lower floor the windows have heavy curtains blocking out any prying eyes from seeing what's inside.

upper ground

The room has very well made chairs. It appears to be a meeting room of somekind where the nobles would take part in conversations with merchants or other people to make deals with. The area seems to be quite empty, though the smell from downstairs has gotten much worse here. There isn't much in this room besides the three chairs and table.

Krenn will leave the curtains open enough to light the room for the others. He'll signal back to them to follow him quietly. Then he'll cross to the door on the south wall. He'll listen at it for any sound from the other side. If he hears nothing he'll quietly open the door, axe ready (shield stashed to free the hand for the door).

Don't want you guys to get bored whilst I go to my IRL game so I'll move on.

As you enter this next room you see what appears to be the main source of the smell as many dead bodies lay on the floor, staining it with blood, but what's more disturbing is 3 figures dressed in masquarade wear appear to be mumbling unintelligably as they point at paintings on the wall. These appear to be long dead humans as they have crossbow bolts showing through their already died and rotting hides.

These zombies are obviously unintelligent as one points at a blank wall when it's meant to be pointing to a peice of art.

As soon as you have entered they have turned around and start their approch whilst you hear from somewhere the laughter of a young woman

Curnach puts one of the enchanted pebbles into his newly acquired sling, firing it at the central zombie.

All but one is blinded, the one in the centre.

"oh, what pretty glitter! You missed me, now you will have to kiss my good friends here!" the voice sounds female and you are unsure what part of the room it's eminating from exactly but sounds like somewhere east up here near the stairs.

Jerin will draw out his scroll of see invisibility and cast it on himself.

Krenn will delay. He's waiting for a zombie to close distance, or another foe to be revealed.

attack: 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (7) + 11 = 18

damage: 1d10 + 4 ⇒ (1) + 4 = 5

Arianna's glitterdust covers the area where the zombies were and they all have the glitter stuck to their bodies. All of these undead are dressed in masquarade and seems a shame you have to destroy such expensive costumes, but they have been stained with blood for quite some time.

Curnach's stone smashed hard into the only undead that could see up here and Krenn finished it off once it come close, removing the head before the follow up slash could hit the next zombie.

Jerin cannot see things quite yet as he has not entered the room, but the only zombie that could possibily indanger him appears to be blind and not know where Krenn or anyone else is, just acting on commands from the strange and somewhat childish voice.

Arianna will attempt to pinpoint where the voice is originating from
Pereption: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (10) + 8 = 18
If she can locate the general area of the voice, she will cast another Glitterdust to blanket the area, if not she will cast Vanish on herself and say "Two can play at that game"

Being invisabile it is impossible to know exactly where she is, so turning invisable yourself you hear a gasp of shock and the giggle of excitement, followed by a murmering.

Spellcraft DC 17:

The spell that's being used is Ventriloquism. The spell allows her to throw her voice to another location.

"Aww, it's no fun when you get to turn invisable too!" the female voice shouts, sounding like a spoilt child. "Are you enjoying my little creations? The whole house is full of them and all because of dear Rolthy giving me some of his scrolls. The festering corpses all look so wonderful, don't they?"

The voice sounds like it's coming from the west of the room, close to the blinded zombie.

Round 2 Action

You don't take a AoO since the zombie is blinded.

Jerin:

As you fly in the room and look around the corner you see what appears to be a young woman, dressed in masquarde type expensive dress, but your trueseeing penetraits the illusion and you instead see her wearing studded leather armour.

As you look at her she tilts her head to the side and has a gleeful smirk perminantly stuck to her face as she looks up at you, almost knowing that you can see her. He's holding a crossbow in her hand too, but it's unloaded at the moment and a wand in the other hand. You don't know why but she appears to have a strange look in her eyes that appears to be a mixture between the same madness you saw in the eyes of the derro in Rolth's lab months before and the look you've seen on the faces of people in Old Korvosa who have been sniffing or drinking some undeterminant stuff in a alley.

She is standing right by the stairs in square G 34 and you notice below you appear to be six more zombies dressed in masquarade and dancing as if they were still at a ball. Another possible sick joke from the demented mind of this elf woman. She appears to pout as she starts to talk.

"I hate it when you people spoil my fun!" you hear a female voice from the east now. "Rolthy wouldn't talk to me for weeks after he found his lab was wrecked by some weirdos!" the owner of the voice doesn't appear to know you guys are to blame.

The remaining zombie tries to slam it's fists into Krenn, but instead it's fits bounce off the armour that Krenn is wearing.

She appears to have broken loose from your spell through sheer force of will.

You all hear the voice scream in pain as the ants manages to stab her with their stings, though you still cannot see her, but you know where she is due to where the ants have attacked and Jerin pointing her out.

On Curnach's turn the zombie next to Krenn has died and crumpled to the floor as a lifeless body once again.
