The king is dead! In the Varisian port city of Korvosa, the death of a monarch leads to chaos, and only a small group of heroes can hope to save the city from its own darkest tendencies.

Casting: When casting a spell defensivly if you fail you do not automaticly lose the spell, rather you provoke an attack as you normally would for not casting defensive. If you are hit you must make a concentration check dc 10+damage taken if you fail this check you lose the spell.
Rolls:
Many rolls will be handled by the GM in secret.(don't worry, I don't fudge.)
Any result that can influence the character behavior will not be rolled open.
Rolls that will be handled by the GM:
Perception
Sense Motive.
if you make the check I will send you a pm or make a post and put it in a spoiler depending on the situation.
Sometimes I will roll Initiative others I will ask you to roll depending on the situation. In some situation (rarely) I will bypass init entirely and have you all go first and enemies second or have enemies go first and you all go after.
Combat rules:
I'm a fair GM, I dont roll combat in secret, I don't change results, I don't ignore bad calls from the characters.
Sometimes, character dies, but I'm not a player killer, if I think that an encounter will be easy handled, when it should be more challenging, I will make it a more challenging, if the party it's not prepared to face something, I will drop hints, if they insist... well killing one or two players never made me lack sleep...
Actions:
I'm a GM that do not punish the character for trying something new or cool, or even strange. Visual appealing actions are encouraged, the dc will of course depend on what are you trying, but you can try! If what you want to do is wicked cool, I can even bend the game mechanics to allow it! The most importat part is: You are villains. Villains are smart, resourceful and have style! Have you ever seen a memorable villain that could just swing his sword and do nothing more?
Posting Rate
If it could be done, I expect 1/day posting, if you can post more, it will really good.
During weekend, this rule does not apply. If you are able to post, great! But dont stress over this, everyone need some time to rest (In my case, I need time to play and DM :D on my tabletop games).
Level up
Aside from character creation, when you level up, if you want something not from core rulebook, you'll need to search it inside the game. basicly what you need to do is just show in game your character is searching for that knowledge. This rule is not meant to prohibit anything, I just don't like something like this: "Character always as a full caster, never picked up a sword in his entire life, and then he gain a new level and says: Master, I'll level up as a fighter now..."
Codename: "Falcon" Male 'Human' Divine Marksman Urban Ranger 5/Bard 2 (AC: 19 [T: 13 /FF: 16] -1 if using Buckler hand; CMD 20; HP: 58/58; F+5, R+10, W+4 [+1 vs. Mind-affecting]; Init: +4 (+6 in Kintargo); Perc: +14 (+16 in Kintargo) [Low-light vision])
Gregor decides he is best used offering respite from the attacks, given his only chance of hurting the thing lies in using his shield as a fairly ineffectual weapon. As such, he sheathes his sword, and draws his wand of healing.

Move, sheathe sword

Crain falls out of his rage, and nearly falls to the ground. "Pretty impressive, right Pai? You saw me stand toe to toe with that awful daemon," he says as he tries to smile, huffing in between each word. He felt worse than he looked, if possible.

Thatll get Crain to full.
Crain stretched, still out of breath. "Just give me another minute or so, and I'll be all fresh and full of vigor again! Don't listen to what everyone else says about you, Donegar...you are all right in my book," Crain laughs as he slaps the dwarf on the back.

Drakus frowned, trying to think.
"OK, the orders were to 'Arrest or kill everyone here, and most importantly secure Doctor Davalous and his notes.'"
He rubbed his stubbled chin.
"If that's the Doctor down there, where are his notes? Is there an office around here?"
Gregor and Mai have already secured most of his notes. Searching his body you find the rest of them.
You also find:
+1 human bane rapier
+1 mithral shirt
amulet of natural armor +1
ring of protection +1
2 potions of remove disease
wand magic mnissile (3rd caster level) (17 charges)
potion of cure serious wounds

Drakus would love the amulet of natural armor, but probably a non-warrior should have first crack at that one.
Also, does anyone know how I ended up with the Wisdom damage? Is it the kind that goes away after a while, or does this involve a substantial donation to the church?
The long hall opens into a circular chamber rising into a high dome. Seven basins jut from the walls, ensconced within evenly spaced alcoves that circle the room. Each is filled to the brim with a unique liquid corruption—blood, bile, milk, or other unidentifiable fluid. Each fills the air with its own distinct reek, creating a noxious, eyewatering bouquet. Upon the floor around each basin lie several small, empty metal boxes, each carved with images of skulls. At the room’s center, rising from a wide pool of crystalline water, rises a golden statue of a sight both erotic and horrifying. The statue is that of a beautiful nude woman, human above the waist, but below this the figure is nothing more than a skeleton.
A woman meditates in the room as you enter she greet you with an icy smile ash she rises.
"And so you defeated the deamon and have found your way to me, hopeful heroes. Know that you stand before the architect of your city’s death. You call this sending blood veil, yet I know it as the gentle kiss of the Pallid Princess. Your reward shall be great—choose of the seven scourges to become one with the goddess. Those who drink, I shall only cripple, leaving you alive to enjoy her as she quickens inside your flesh. Those who abstain are fools, not fit to house the divine gift. You may prostrate yourselves at my feet and I shall make your end all the more swift for it. Swifter, in any event, than this delightful end your lovely queen has enjoined me to create!"

"No thanks, sugar. I've already tasted the plague enough for one man so far today. And I'm a might bit pissed off about it. Let's get to this," Crain growls as he moves to engage the priestess.
The woman sneers in anger at your defiance. She floats up to the center statue and lands in it's outstretched hands 10 feet above the ground."You worthless worms how dare you defy my lady. You should all bow down before me!"
Her words are enspelled by magic and you feel compelled to do just that. Greater command commanding you all to bow down. You all make a Will save dc 19 or spend your round bowing down to her. This continues for 9 rounds, you get a new save each round.
