Clean-up aisle 9! Wouldn't Shocking Grasp cauterize the wound?
Aloud and looking West.
Cela, some help here! I think we can take her alive if she doesn't bleed out. Then she can face the justice of the people of Kassen!
GM Pablo
Cela can move up and use one of the otherwise useless potions of stabilize on the Razmiri.
Fahari double moves to the acolytes.
Anaba moves up and attacks the Acolyte #2

I'll run this idea by the rest of the party, and if they don't object, I proceed:
To the acolyte:
Hello! I'd like to congratulate you on coming to your senses. You are walking through a city made out of gold and you haven't picked any up because you were told it was bad. And you fell for that? Gold's gold, my friend, and you were going to help them fight their way to owning all of this and then they were going to set you aside. Have set you aside. You have been set aside.
We're people of humbler ambitions. We don't want all of this. We want *most* of this. We're nice. We can share. This is your one time chance to get the hell out of this city, and as a bonus you can collect as much gold as you can carry on the way out. Two conditions - you drag this half orc out with you, and you don't come back.
I'll bump my intelligence by two for this with my Enhancement special, kicking my bluff bonus up to +5, then take ten on the roll, for a 15. Others may want to chip in with supporting bluff rolls.
GM Pablo
The acolyte looks astounded. "Wwwwwhy, yeeess, ttthat sounds like an excellent idea! I'd be happy to oblige that arrangement. More than 1/2 of us died getting here and the crazy elf, Iramine forbade any of us from taking the treasure, just look at it! We could live fat and happy for the rest of our lives and few more to come! She has some kind of magical scepter which, I think has her in it's sway. Even the other heralds look at each other when she makes crazy demands. She is more than willing to sacrifice us all. I'll just grab this backpack here and be happy to take Aglanda with me." He points to the center of the spire, "Iramine is in there, you can give her this for me." He hands his iron mask to Sekkim. "I won't be needing this again if I can find our ship and get off he island.
He starts cautiously at first loading up his backpack with treasures then starts in earnest looking for choice pieces and stuffing his pack. He finds a gold jeweled dagger, stuff it in his belt, unceremoniously grabs Aglanda by the collar and starts slowly dragging her back the way you came. Taking a few backward glances to see if you are going to shoot him.
GM Pablo
Pointing he says "There, the center of the city - can't miss it the giant spire. Go through that guard tower right over there, the door is off, then cross the bridge. We were left out here, no idea, where inside, but she's there with a couple priests and another herald, Naramoc. Have fun storming the castle." By your count and the tracks (12), four more should account for all the Razmiri who entered. For those of you who were in the Temple in Tamran, you recognize both Naramoc and Aglanda as names of Heralds from the temple. You looted their rooms...
GM Pablo
You estimate 52 hours left before the city floods with molten gold.
You follow the tracks and direction provided (four as the acolyte said) through the tower and back on to the main road and come to the last bridge which crosses another channel of molten gold. Two gold-plated columns carved to resemble female warriors flank the entrance to another bridge over one of the city’s canals. Past the bridge should be the entrance to the tower at the center of the city.

"he is the sociopath with the mostiopath."

LOL!
I'll take that as a compliment, given our current employment! However, I only joined up for the job. I didn't realize we would actually be doing good for the most part! It is that reason I stay on...and the company! After all, I would have to join a temple to feel any better about it and to do more for those that can't defend themselves like those poor kids in Kassen!
Oh! Somebody stop me! I almost sound like a paladin!
The magic amd the riches are the perks!
Fernleaf Ivy

The magic and riches are the main event! What's in it for me? The good we do is only a side effect of our main objective: Collect as much power and money as we can so we can do whatever we want!
I will remove a slight bit of treasure from the Bag of Holding, but only for a few items:
studded leather +1
light steel shield +1
masterwork rapier
The sunrod is spoken for, as is the crossbow and bolts. Don't want/need any masks or robes.

I want to check out those fancy crossbow thingies mounted on either side of the bridge. See if there is any ammunition, if they are functional, etc. oi also want to look for traps or mechanical/magical devices or anything else of interest. Perception: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (6) + 9 = 15
I sorta hated the maps in the module and found better fancier ones! The crossbows collapse to dust when you touch one...
I also did better Intersection map...

Privately to Fernleaf through message : did you say you had some glue?
-Posted with Wayfinder
Indeed I do.
One ounce of this adhesive covers 1 square foot of surface, bonding virtually any two substances together in a permanent union. The glue takes 1 round to set. If the objects are pulled apart (a move action) before that time has elapsed, that application of the glue loses its stickiness and is worthless. If the glue is allowed to set, then attempting to separate the two bonded objects has no effect, except when universal solvent is applied to the bond. Sovereign glue is dissolved by universal solvent.

I think I already perceived everyting in this area, but I will continue to Perceive as we head across the bridge. Maybe I go forward a bit and check, then tanks leapfrog in front a little bit, then I check ahead, then they leapfrog. I DO NOT want this to be "tiny guy up front gets crushed by the giant constructs that he cannot even damage".
We should buff (if applicable) and proceed post-haste.
